  1. Devotary. Bother. So we think two of Xino, Rath, Hats, and Ark are elims. I’m going to pass on Rath for now, simply because he’s saying so much that if he does end up flipping elim, we could probably find his team from that. Ark voted on Cadcom, but I can see that coming from either alignment. Hats is new, so I guess I’ll vote for Xino.
  2. Okay, due to a PM I just received, I’m going to take my vote off of CadCom. Independent of that, I think we should probably wait on lynching him regardless since he’s suspected of being the Deep One, and we still don’t have our Necronomicon hint (so far as I know). I’m going to instead vote on Devotary, who I am just as suspicious of but who hasn’t been contributing as much to the discussion.
  3. @Ark1002, thanks for responding. Could you place a vote on one of CadCom, Venture, or Devotary? Even if you don’t have any justification, an elim would have bias in their vote (if one of the above 3 is an elim), while a villager wouldn’t, so this could help clear/condemn you. Also, if you place a vote in thread then we don’t have to worry about secret votes as much.
  4. @ILuvHats and @Ark1002, could we get some input from you two? I can see you’ve both been active on the forum, which makes me rather suspicious of both of you. Ventyl hasn’t been online since 9/29, so I doubt he’s an elim. I’d like to hear from @Rathmaskal in response to the fact Venture has gone insane. @CadCom my understanding of Fifth’s reasoning is that he believes Aman was killed by a player that Aman revealed crucial information about his role to. Since Aman thought those 3 players were elims, he probably didn’t reveal info to them. Thus, they aren’t responsible for the leak. Also, while you are correct that I did no action N1, I’m not sure how that clears you in any way. Yeah, it gives you an alibi N1, but with a probable 3 elim team, that doesn’t mean much. I haven’t really done any analysis here, but I’m also currently happy with Cadcom being lynched.
  5. I’m going to follow Fifth’s vote on CadCom. My primary motivation is clearing up D1, especially with the possibility of a Devotary/Cadcom team. Also, he put together an analysis post but didn’t draw any conclusions. As for killing Aman, the Deep One might have done that, since kill attempts only have a 25% chance to succeed.
  6. I had Silver Bones, which I claimed in the thread. That's why I didn't go insane after the attack. Given the number of players, giving Silver Bones to an elim might be rather overpowered.
  7. @Rathmaskal I've been attacked, which should clear me stronger than insanity.
  8. I'm pretty sure the mists are a random redirect. Edit:
  9. Hmm, someone who didn't vote voted on me. That makes me rather suspicious of basically everyone who didn't vote. Assuming only elims placed anonymous votes, that means that there could only be a single elim (given a 3 elim team) that voted this cycle. I'd bet on Devotary, although it could be Sart.
  10. I'm going to vote on Devotary. I'm also suspicious of Xino for the same reason: being eager to jump onto Sart. While it is possible that Sart is an elim (it would help explain Fifth's insanity), I don't think we should jump straight to worrying about him being the Deep One and all bandwagon, as Devotary implies we should. I'm also still suspicious of Venture from the lynch last cycle, but I'd like to hear from other people what their suspicions (aside from Sart) are.
  11. I guess I'm wondering why elim!Sart would reveal this.
  12. Just a quick thought here, mostly in response to this last paragraph. If the lynch was V/V, then which of myself and Aman do you think is the elim that voted on Cadcom? I think I’m currently leaning towards a V/V lynch. Looking back, I think an elim!Cadcom would have tried to respond more than he did. I think I agree then with suspicion of players that voted on Shane. Given the small size of this game, elim!Venture could have broken the tie in order to throw suspicion on Cadcom, leading to 2 mislynches. I’d prefer to see the outcome of the night cycle before I do more analysis.
  13. Hmm. I agree with Aman’s read on Striker, barring an Aman/Striker team. I could easily see Aman asking one of his teammates to write a stream of consciousness post so that he could read them village. My current vote is the sort of thing I have been doing every game, and I can understand both Fifth and Aman’s takes on it. I find it curious that Fifth seems to repeatedly give me the benefit of the doubt in these games (something which has led me to suspect him in the past), but because it’s a recurring pattern, I’d say that’s NAI. Um, this comes off as rather elimy. If I replace “do analysis” with “help the village”, this basically says you will help the village if we (Fifth and Aman) back off, but won’t help if you’re going to die. I feel like the ideal village response to being up for the lynch is to provide analysis that suggests you are trying to solve the game, and hope you convince people either of the results of your analysis, or that you are trying hard enough to postpone your lynch. Given only 5 hours left in the cycle, I’ll also vote Cadcom. I’m rather busy today, which is why I’m voting now instead of waiting to hear more, but there are 8 players who haven’t voted yet, which is plenty to save Cadcom if necessary.
  14. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I tend to place Stab Votes (TM) cycle 1, rather than poke votes. Same idea, but the idea is to choose someone to kill, rather than to immediately withdraw after a response has been posted.
  15. I suppose I'll kick off the voting with one on Devotary.
  16. Fade sat in the darkness, watching the shades gather in the Forests of Hell. He felt a kinship to them, bound to the world, existing only as shadows of their past lives. Still just as deadly.
  17. @Kasimir Looks fun, with good flavor, simple mechanics, and cosmetic roles that are a great jumping off point for RP. Definitely ping me whenever you run this game.
  18. I think I've settled into school enough to join a game, so I'll sign up as Fade.
  19. @Butt Ad Venture Posts like that make me sad that downvoting is no longer a feature . Also, seeing as this may be one of my last posts this game, I have a Warrant (or I assume I do, since I was targeted with one).
  20. Quick Heads Up, starting Saturday I'm going to be rather busy IRL (moving across the country), so my activity levels will drop precipitously (which is why I asked Joe about the game lasting longer than a week). That being said, if there are lingering suspicions about me, I wouldn't terribly mind being lynched today or tomorrow.
  21. His post where he started by voting for Gaea, then switched to Joe in the same post stuck out to me. I could understand if he voted at the start of an analysis post, and then changed his mind by then end, but his post was only a few lines, so the switch seemed fake to me.
  22. Can someone express their suspicion of Kidpen a little better? I did a cursory read through of the thread and he didn't stick out to me. My top two suspicions are Fifth and Bard.
