  1. They do when I make them. You can say what you want about hate, but it is efficient. And tastes good!
  2. Did you want to discuss the game, or exchange friend codes? I'm open to both.
  3. I mix my batches in with a whole lot of hate. I know most people say it should be love, but I find hate so much more productive. Hate leads to rage, and rage makes it easy to mix the ingredients efficiently. I also have my own recipe, and THE BATCH SHALL NOT DEVIATE from that. If it does, I yell at it and hit it with more ingredients to make up for the difference.
  4. Also, remember that we almost have no information on the planet of Sixth of the Dusk. For all we know, there might be a Shard there. On Threnody, on the other hand (the planet of Silence), we have confirmation that there are no Shards.
  5. Fine. I'll upgrade you. The way you wrote where you live just made me automatically think of it. I can remove it if you'd like, but it's honestly just a huge coincidence I even found it. I just googled "Texas fun" and stumbled upon it. Sorry if it gave you a start!
  6. It's not hard if you know how to use the advanced search-functions. Just click the cog-sign next to the search bar.
  7. Urk, I was kind of hoping Kurk or Weiry would step up to the plate here. There are several WoBs on this (as well as just general Cosmere knowledge), but I don't have the time to make a longer post right now. If you've gotten no love by later tonight, I'll make an effort to slap you with some serious Cosmere-awareness!
  8. Oh, I have my ways. But thanks! And so you moved to Utah. I didn't dare to write Idaho since you said you likely wouldn't stay there for long. I did write it in invisible ink, though. Might still be there, who knows? I haven't included them mostly because I haven't gotten around to it yet. Since they haven't been especially forward in these Nationality Thread, I have to either rely on kind souls such as yourself or go and find them myself. I'm (very!) slowly moving through the entire library of Introduction Topics, which should let me expand the List quite a bit. I'll see if I can't add the ones you've provided later tonight.
  9. Well, at least it's not Witless. Shall I add your brother as well? Does he have a user here?
  10. NO! Dragons are HUGE FIRE-BREATHING LIZARDS. No exceptions! (I like dragons) Yolish dragons have their own unique kind of magic.
  11. I'm going to have to delegate this. I'm already swamped with my Geo-tracking List.
  12. Thanks for the sympathy. And yes, I was serious. This was a while ago, though. It seems like Brandon & Co. has become much better at responding to requests in general within the last year. And yes, I enjoyed White Sand as well. Without going too much into it (we're not supposed to discuss it at all), I liked the "twelve labours" aspect of it, which makes it stand out from most modern Fantasy novels. You won't be the only one impatiently awaiting its release
  13. Dalinar's case is somewhat odd, but I suppose it would be considering Your argument is somewhat strange even so. Kaladin had Syl for several months before he started fully interacting with her. But he went several months longer longer before he started using Stormlight consciously. The same seems to be true for both Ym, Lift, Shallan and Jasnah. I don't think any Radiant would get to the point of gaining the ability to inhale Stormlight purposely without at least noticing their Spren. Of course, Lopen might have a Spren we know nothing about, but it seems strange that he wouldn't have at least thought about it in his PoV chapter. Especially considering that he knows about Syl and her relationship with Kaladin. To reiterate, I don't think it beyond the reach of plausibility that Lopen will be a Radiant someday, but I firmly believe that he is not on his way to becoming one by the end of the Words of Radiance.
  14. Lucky bastard. It took me over six months!
  15. I suppose I can believe that, but what made you think of that? Also, what state? You don't have to say if you don't want to.
  16. Ah! About the Way of Kings. Got it! *retreats into thinking box* Any suggestions, though? EDIT: Oh, I have one! I would prefer to ask if Gavilar was receiving the same visions, but that would be RAFO-bait for sure.
  17. I'm not saying he will not become a Radiant in the future, but I find it unlikely that he is on his path to it right now. Other than fitting well with Squiredom, he doesn't seem to have a Spren at this point.
  18. I have now added a new feature: continent counting! The List now consists of 93 (almost 94) members. Seems like I've still got some ways to go to cover the Site membership of some two thousand.
  19. Are we aware of the Q&A that Tor.com is doing for the end of their Way of Kings reread? Apparently, during the Epilogue commentary next week, we are allowed to ask questions in the comments, and Brandon will answer ten of them. So, does anyone here know of the event? Have you thought of any questions? I know what I am going to ask: Alternatively:
  20. Lopen most likely is not on his way to Radiance, but becoming one of Kaladin's Squires. As for what Squires are, there are several Threads on the subject, including my own Squire abilities Thread.
  21. You should also consider the context of that WoB, Swimmingly. He was talking specifically of Threnody, where the inhabitants do not seem to be able to access any magical system at all (id est gain magical abilities), but are limited to interacting with it (id est affect it only indirectly).
  22. Oh, right. I wasn't aware of that update. So when Hoid left in the Way of Kings, he was only really going to a wedding instead of doing important, Cosmere-wide stuff? EDIT: Or maybe the wedding was important, Cosmere-wide stuff? Dum, dum, DUAAAAAAAM!
  23. And how do we know that exactly 341 years have passed between the Heroe of Ages and the Way of Kings?
  24. Why exactly 341? Also, you've got the lower number wrong, as (WoR)
