I'm in! I already went and up-voted the two posts Stick has made. Imagine Peter and Brandon's reactions when the Stick is the highest reputed poster on the forum! EDIT: On an unrelated note, I seem to have switched from Shardbearer to Full Shardbearer on 860 Reputation Points.

I vote for naming the Rosharan super-continent "Gaston".

If we are to be really honest here, Robin Williams might be accredited with playing Genie, but he is really just playing a blue and animated version of himself.
-
And doesn't (yet?) tend towards obnoxiousness.
-
Clinically dead, maybe, but even in our world, it is possible to come back from that. Death is a diagnose modern real-world doctors are having increasingly difficulties in defining properly.
-
Impossible, as he would have then KNOWN that they were coming back and been able to refuse to be Truthless. He almost broke from it after he had faced Kaladin.

Theory on Unlocking the Other Oathgates.
Aether replied to earthboundsyndicate's topic in Stormlight Archive
@Hoser: Nothing indicates that the fabrial part of the Oathgate is impervious to Shardblades. Renarin only lightly scratched at it, so we can only really know that it is resistant to it. -
In this scenario, would Syl be Robin Williams?

There will ALWAYS be an up-vote from me for Jasnah/Kaladin ships!

Just passing by to give a few up-votes. I'll be going now.

Maybe the Rhysadium are all really just Kandras?

Not sure if I can call myself "the resident WoB user", but imma drop 'em here for some up-vote farming : And as an added bonus, here are some WoBs that confirms WEZ313's statements:

Vaspin makes some excellent points in pointing out the flaws in the "Shardplate is Spren" theory. I was originally planning to prove y'all wrong about the Shardplate is Spren theory, but after diving into the WoBs from theoryland that talks about the nature of Shardplate, I am no longer that sure. Permit me to just cite them all while I ponder on this for a while longer:

Brandon has said that the pool in Elantris is not what we tend to think it is, so maybe we are wrong to assume that it is a Shardpool? Maybe the pools at the Elantris pool and the Horneater pools aren't Shardpools at all, but just portals allowing for Worldhopping or access to Shadesmar?

Why would you take out the Allomancy? Don't get me wrong, Trigun is awesome. But imagine Trigun. With Allomancy!

Pardon me, but I am going to ask about the soup thing: what is the soup thing?

That is acutally a pretty cool notion. Would that mean that the Cognitive and Spiritual Realms are to be considered different dimensions as well? And to each of this have something equivalent to the Physical Realms three dimensions?

Maybe Chaos is privy to information that we are not. Maybe the Most Ancient has access to powerful magic?

Does anyone know what Brandon's "Most Ancient" rank is referencing?

I've never even thought this was an issue - my own Threads tend to have rather generic titles, and other than the "Sadeas

Also, nowhere is it implied that Gavilar knew that the Parshendi were the Voidbringers. He might have wanted to bring back the Desolations, but I do not think he knew what that would do to the Parshendi. No one except Jasnah did (probably), and she spent several years diving into the most obscure books she could find..

There is no indication that they trap Spren in the gemstones placed in the pommels of dead Shardblades - at least not as I remember.

Amusing to see that you've more or less claimed Kurkistan's role of swooping in and setting us straight. Keep it up, Weiry!
