Right now we're searching for a 25th anniversary edition of Elantris, though most people are still reading or posting on 17th Shard. You wouldn't happen to have it, would you?" she asks hopefully.

    I advise checking out the social groups. I myself am partial to the Knights Awkward, as I created it and don't have any shame. I shall shamelessly promote! We're quite the interesting group. Also, the Guild of Arts is good if you're in any way artsy/musical/creative. Have fun! 17th Shard is the greatest!

    I thought I should introduce myself to the Creator's Corner. The following work was written at about 1:00 AM. It is published here nearly unaltered, though considerably more legible. Advice, critiques and questions are welcome. It's a sort of companion to another short story I wrote that I'm actually pretty proud of. There's two guys (they don't know each other) and they showed considerable bravery in battle. They were heroes. They both died in battle, and the ice magicians tried to bring them back to life as a reward. Well, they succeeded, but they are both now made of ice, and because of the half-failure the whole thing was kinda hushed up. Okay, enough stalling. Here it is.

    I like your writing style. It made for a fun read. Also, the idea of a magic system based on music. I like that. One question: what kind of magic does the music.... for lack of a better word, create? Does it depend on the style of music? Complexity? Rhythm? Does all music cause magical things to happen, or just some? Does it have to be made by a specific person? Or does it have to be made with the intent to create magic? That was much more than one question. Sorry. I'm thinking of posting some of my midnight rambles, but I'm afraid I'd be locked in the loony bin.
