Single ghost post. @Mailliw73, I'm not surprised that my usage of the steel alphabet gave me away. You are completely correct about the Alethi though, my Alethi is very rusty and I had forgotten some of the keybindings in the font. "but I got a stanza through and it was the same so" ah but was it? Do not automatically assume that what seems a spelling error is one. I don't often make them in Steel Alphabet ; ) I think you are trying to read the Thaylen upside down. So you know, you have not discovered every secret in any of my messages except the first. : ) Kudos to anyone who works out Clan's history before the game ends. Cya later guys, it's been fun =)

I think I noticed you as being a Shardbearer at 857 so I think the threshold is higher than that. Adjusted Thankyou both. Chaos just likes messing with us.

Ok, time for some more thoughts regarding the stormlight idea: I'm certainly not one to speak against complicated systems that will be difficulty to balance.

"And maybe once this is all o'er I'll finally be able to get a proper storming rest. That'll be nice." A faint smile touched his lips as he walked away from the villagers. @Gamma, I did enjoy our chats I believe we both successfully withheld giving the other any particularly useful information.

It's my ingenious strategy. I act so pleased about it that it becomes clear that I couldn't possibly be spiked and in doing so save myself! Or, more realistically, I confuse everyone! Really it is just because why not? There is absolutely nothing I can do to prevent it so why be upset about it?

Ok, I want to start this by noting that your ideas aren't bad and I think it would be cool to have a game in this setting. But most of this will be aimed at constructive criticism because that will be the most helpful I can be Seriously these aren't bad ideas though naturally some could do with tweaking. : ) These are, of course, just my opinions.

If you go to the main forum page and look at the bottom right before the list of online players you will see links to "The Moderating Team", "Today's Top Posters". "Overall Tip Posters" and "Top Reputation". Being on the top reputation list makes me happy : ) You're on there too actually, just.

The Returned's breath is called a "divine breath. I'm fairly certain nothing else is in normal terminology so yes that is what I meant I spose it is possible that I could have been unaware of that and been just referring to breath in general as being divine. I think I already confirmed that there would be Returned in the game.

Thanks for the input. Your potential objection is noted, shall I tell everyone that the rule has changed if you are spiked? I'm planning to have some people as Idrians and some as Hallendrens, everyone will know whether a character is Idrian or Hallendren. A larger portion of the roles will be Idrian but the Hallendren will have multiple awakeners with different quantities of breath. So the spiked will have to puzzle over who to attack, as both the mercenary and the spy (seeker-like role) will be Idrian. (The Pahn Kahl will appear as Idrian or Hallendren.)

A role I would like to hear other people's thoughts on: Mercenary. The mercenary can choose someone to protect each night cycle. If that person is attacked the mercenary kills the attacker but is wounded in the process and is unable to protect others again unless healed by a divine breath. Clearly intended for the Nalthis game.

Yeah we have WoB to that. However he did say that it was possible for Parshendi to become knights radiant now. So maybe, maybe not. He has also said that each book will focus on a different order of the Knight's Radiant and implied that it would focus on someone from that order and Eshonai will have a viewpoint book (book 4). So it is quite possible that Eshonai will become one, I'm calling Willshaper as they are noted as we know that they loved adventure and that fits Eshonai perfectly. And here is a thread discussing the possibility. And I thought I was clever for picking willshapers for her. *sigh*

Welcome to the site awesomespren! The splintercast is literally FeatherWriter's first impressions as she read WoR with all the silences cut out and is already fully recorded. If you wanted to do something podcasty I would guess send a pm to Chaos. I honestly don't know how they plan or decide on anything to do with that, I think the last Shardcast was before my time here : P
