I was sus of Grass for not claiming prefect and thought they might be an elim pretending not to be to get a secret spell. (And yes I’m aware of how many holes there are in that logic) The nice thing about that situation is that now we can narrow it down to one person instead of two!

Because I get that at least some people probably don’t believe me. So pretend for a moment right, that you don’t believe I did that. In that world, three of the four remaining prefects (me, grass, ink, and ravenclaw) still have a spell left to use, except for the one who obliviated doc yesterday. I’m simply trying to lay out all the options, even the one I know is impossible. Because I know otherwise people will probably call me out and say I’m suspicious for not mentioning that. He never said that in thread or in pm tho so I believe he claimed he did it in owl mail. Which means it’s certain that an elim obliviated him. That narrows it to me, Ink, and the Ravenclaw prefect (I don’t remember who that is. Yeah i dont think we should scrap it altogether, I just think that’ll make me a bit more suspicious of that particular person. I dont want to jump straight from “oh they didn’t die” to “lets exe them with extreme predjudice” but i do think its something to look out for. Ya know, reasons to be sus of someone pile up over time, and that might be something to add to the pile

I don’t know that we need to immediately exe someone who’s first and doesn’t die, but I do think it’s something to look for, and possibly a reason to look more closely at someone. I will also say consensus is a strong word here. Only five people votes TJ positively, and out of those five only two had him as their top most trusted. The negative “consensus” last cycle was even worse, with only three people voting for the person who got exed.

Now that’s very interesting We didn’t really discuss positive votes yesterday but it was pretty clear Doc was trusted. The issue is it could be TJ or it could be someone else entirely. We might want to look at positive voting patterns within the top people and see if there’s any commonalities there. Although we don’t have much to look at yet. But there could be something. Honestly I will find it very suspicious if it’s obvious someone is about to get extra credit during the cycle and they aren’t killed.

Possibly? But I don’t think so based on the totals. My negative votes weren’t counted (although I didn’t vote for Qian so that wouldn’t have mattered much) and possibly someone else’s positive or negative votes could have been uncounted, but none of the prefects have claimed that so far and we’re the only ones that could have done it afaik

Two votes. Araris and Qian have both been exed. And flipped village. Araris we mostly knew was coming, he was being sussed pretty hard cycle one. Qian not so much, he was either getting vaguely village read or just not talked about, which is why it was such a surprise

Valid. I may be tunneling a bit here. But I just don’t like Grass not only claiming he’s not prefect, but that it was someone else, and then immediately the next cycle doing a 180 on that. And I don’t like that nobody was wiling to confirm it. But I do think it gives him some village credit that he has now claimed it and is actually willing to discuss what he wanted to do with the spell, and why he hid it in the first place. It felt extremely suspicious to me, and I figured if he was hiding a spell there was a good chance he’s elim. However, having now given an actual explanation and claim, I am willing to reconsider. Unfortunately I have already used the spell, but the things that are making me reconsider happened this cycle, so not much I (or anyone) can do about that.

This cycle so far I’ve been extremely busy. I’ve had maybe an hour total of actual time to contribute. Split up into 5-10 minute intervals. So sorry if I’m not contributing, it’s physically impossible to follow everything and type up long analysis posts atm. I will be more active later today once I’m off work. See but if you’re an elim now the elims don’t have a spell. So I wouldn’t call that useless. Anyway current thoughts are still leaning toward elim on Grass, Ink is an interesting one, I haven’t seen enough to really get a solid read since they haven’t been participating a whole lot. Interesting that they didn’t claim prefect before, but I’m not sure how alignment indicative that is. Yeah okay, that makes sense.

I used obliviate on Grass (sorry grass) because I thought if he was prefect there was a good chance he was actually elim @Archer would he be notified of that or does it just not work when he tries? @Through The Living Grass if you were notified would you mind confirming for me?

Currently I have a minus on Grass and Hopper. Might add one on TJ. Refusing to answer something when multiple people have brought up a very good reason to answer is just rubbing me the wrong way. That’s my main sus atm. I don’t have much else. Care to elaborate on what those reasons are? Seems like you’re purposely keeping us (village as a whole) in the dark, which is almost never a good thing. I will likely not be on for the rest of the cycle as I’m still at work. If I’m still alive next cycle I’m happy to answer whatever.

Because if Mist wasnt actually prefect, that would be a very good way for an elim to secretly get ahold of a spell. The fact that neither Mist (via owl mail) or you has confirmed it makes me suspicious of Grass (and somewhat you in that scenario) Yep exactly. This. Yeah I agree that’s a little weird. I’d like to be able to chalk it up to first cycle with a weird rule set, but everyone else including the new players seems to have gotten it, so idk. But I also assume if he’s elim the other elims would have told him since they’re probably coordinating votes. So that complicates things. Uh. See my post where I straight up accused him of lying and being elim? I wouldn’t call that playing along. I did assume it was a joke tho which is why I also went along with the joke role reveals. Yeah that is interesting. Most people seemed to agree he was village, more than anyone else. I was very surprised more people didn’t vote for him. Anyone who thought he was village, care to explain?

Yeah so Wahr here is the post where I said I would put positives on Mist and Twin. In a later post I also said I would likely keep those the same. So I’m not really sure where you’re getting these ideas. Especially since that’s now three people saying you’re wrong about who’s lying.
