    Yea, touche I hope it will be my legal name eventually! Definitely still a few years to go though (sad). I am even more incoherent than usual today. I wanted to say my name because (well, it's a day for telling people my name anyway apparently, but also) it felt like an important piece of myself and I wanted to tell you it Wow I think I blasted my entire thought process into the Andromeda galaxy earlier and still haven't recovered Thank you very much!!!! *jumping up and down and grinning* *hugs*

    AAAAAAAAAAAAA THANK YOU We were signing our names in BSL and I signed my chosen name (which is El, I think I can say that here because it's not my legal name and five people (five people!!!!!!) call me that) and then pointed at myself and everyone kind of looked at me so I explained and. Uh. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND uh *passes out* Okay so that was a thing that happened. I was not expecting this to have happened when I got up this morning. I was not expecting this to happen for several years. But it's fine, it's good, I guess? I'm also terrified because this feels like the first step of a permanent journey, and I don't really feel ready to start, although I'm happy I have? But I'm scared because I can't go back and this is. This is real now. It's not just all in my head. I'm scared this is a mistake though I've questioned it so much I can't see any other conclusion (also doesn't help my gender and sex have matched for the past couple of days, which always makes me doubt myself). So. Uh. I was. Kind of unprepared for that. Better start packing my bag for the metaphorical journey? But yea, this is a good thing.
