I thought that the first one would be a little more juicy than that but I am sure it will come when the release gets nearer.

Kaladin as a citizen and 2nd Nahn has the right of inquest, a sort of judge session if a lighteyes does him wrong and he demands it. I doubt that applies to his spearmen.
-
We also need to consider Jasnah and Shallan. Jasnah is not helpless as demostrated by the ethics lesson. Shallan is no warrior but she has a Shardblade that could play a role as suprise (catching Seth unawares) or mabye loaned to Dalinar.

It could be argued that the Alethi are at war not only against the Listeners, but also among themselves. When Sadeas betrayed Dalinar, it was an act of war or at least it would have been war if not for Dalinar really wanting to unite the Alethi. So they can be considered at war with Sadeas faction of sorts. Then dueling with a shardbearer in that faction could be part of a war and allowed by the codes. Adolin certainly seems to treat it as a war in his duel. This seemed more clear in my head. but I still want to raise the point.

I'm gonna try to read in order. But I do not know if I'm gonna succeed.

And it fits so well with his name! =)

I think Rock says at one point that it would be deadly. All the rain in the chasm would be a flood and everyone down there would drown.

New Release indicate the Elhokar does not have an Honorblade?
Binnut replied to Punter's topic in Stormlight Archive
While i do not think that Elhokar has a honorblade I still feel that your interpretation of the chapter differs from mine. 1. Venli says that the humans has a surgebinders (kaladin) 2. Eshonai says that it could be that could have been the effect of an honorblade. 3. Venli argues that it was not an honorblade she was struck with so its prabably a surgebinder. They discuss whenever Kaladin is a surgebinder or a honorblade user because those are the reasons for him having windrunner powers. Byt they do not say that one person cannot have both. They just argue about how bad it is and thus argues between the two. Thats my interpretation anyway. -
And i who thought that Doc was ironic when he said that =P. 220 kg should have tipped me off, its a little too excessive to wrestle at all.

So what are you going to do until WoR comes out?
Binnut replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
I will at least try to stay away from this site and do what i should be doing instead: Study! Ops! Iv'e already failed! Edit: And continued to fail for 1 hour... this is not going well.... -
Wild speculation: Kaladin will have a "shardspear"
Binnut replied to flowers's topic in Stormlight Archive
I did actually read the Recreance part last night and Dalinar feels dread and "hears" a scream, could that be the scream of dying Spren? This is just after he mentions that the shards glow fades. -
I just read the passage again, I was so sure... But as you say, no mention of crystals or gems. I probably picked that up from the discussion then. Then its very possible that it could be stone. It must suck to be a shard in that case, blind to everything since there is stone everywhere. Mabye that is why the Shin do not walk on stone, Cultivation wants to keep track of them and cant see them if they walk on stone.

I found out about this today 2 hours before an exam... Guess what I did instead of preparing! In Ishikk's interlude he thinks about that some things regarding the gods only could be spoken aloud when in some crystal caves. It is implied that the gods cannot hear it then. This makes me think that its actually Gems that is similar to metal in that regard. I read it as that if the challenge questions the honor of the other or that failing to agree implies fear then they could make more shardbearers agree to a bout.

The word you are looking for is Awsome. =)

But we also have a non Radiant listed: The Assassin. Admittedly not listed in the same way, but the same form and also in bold as the others.
-
At first, it felt wrong to have Eshonai as The explorer, but then I read the last section from the cover flap again, and I must agree that it matches very well. The Explorer is probably not a Radiant order, its just identification of what she represents, just as The assassin is an is seth but I'm pretty sure that its not an Radiant order.

And I thought that the wait already was unbearable! I want it NOW! Lots of teasing new info in it too!
-
So you mean that if Darkness/Nalan had not been cursed he would instead search for surgebinders and help them instead? His curse just makes him think that the opposite will make everything better?
-
Ok, I agree that the option should be there. But i can live with that. I know that most of you use the AM/PM format.

I was just about to post the same thing! I must say its very interesting! This confirms that Adonalsium had a consciousness. Probably also had a sex, namely male.
