  1. I coder second.
  2. Ryna’s eyes followed Aspen as she hovered above the clearing. “It’s beautiful,” she said softly, letting the glow of the place wash over her. “I can see why you’d call it home.” She stepped carefully, taking in the nymphs and sprites flitting through the air and the floating pods above, marveling at the harmony of it all.
  3. Ryna stepped through the narrow gap in the trees and froze for a moment, taking in the clearing. The forest opened into a breathtaking dome, alive with glowing nymphs and sprites darting through the air, their laughter and light filling the space. She let her eyes travel upward, marvelling at the floating pods and houses that made up an entire sky city, hovering effortlessly above the forest floor. The soft luminescence of the clearing bathed everything in a magical glow, and Ryna felt a rare, unguarded awe settle over her. “Impressive,” she murmured, almost to herself, careful not to disturb the delicate harmony of the place.
  4. Hi. I meep. Don't ask. What Knight Radiant are you?
  5. Ryna laughed quietly, a light, teasing sound. “Oh, you got me,” she said, though her tone carried just a hint of playfulness. “I definitely didn’t see that coming.” She adjusted the Codex and followed, letting Aspen lead her deeper into the forest.
  6. the stormlight archive in the letters at the start of some of the chapters. I don't know the first appearance.
  7. It's a hill in New Zealand. It means “The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the slider, climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one”. If you want a shorter name, you can live in the Welsh village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. This means, “The Church of St. Mary in the hollow of the white hazel near a swift whirlpool and the Church of St. Tysilio near the red cave.”
  8. I know. Maybe you should build a house on Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu. By the way, the pronounciation is as follows: Tau-mata-phaka-tangee-hanga-ko-ow-ow-ota-ma-tay-a-turi-pooka-ka-peekee-m-ow-nga-horo-nookoo-poke-eye-phen-oo-ah-kit-ana-ahu.
  9. Ryna stood slowly, her expression calm but focused. She followed Aspen to the window, watching the nymph vanish into the twilight forest. “Alright,” Ryna said quietly, adjusting the Codex in her arms. “Let’s see what’s so important out there.” She climbed out after her, landing lightly on the forest floor, senses alert. The faint rustle of leaves and the cool evening air wrapped around her as she moved, ready to see whatever Aspen wanted to show her.
  10. Ryna raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. “I’m listening,” she said, settling back on the bed. “What do you want to show me?” Her tone was calm, patient, genuinely interested, as if she were ready to record whatever Aspen had in mind in the Codex.
  11. Good. I keep on forgetting mine, but I seem to be able to function without my meds, which is interesting. Maybe that means I am maturing? (Vyvanse, Fluvox, and Dexedrine).
  12. Ryna allowed herself the tiniest smile, watching Aspen practically bounce with excitement. “I can see you really like it,” she said, her tone calm but amused. “Just… try not to drool on the pages. The Codex doesn’t like water much.” She leaned back slightly, letting Aspen’s awe fill the quiet room. “It remembers everything, you know. Every little thing that happens—it all stays.”
  13. The Black Coffee Manifesto

    I. Purity Above All
I pledge to drink my coffee as it was born: unadulterated, untamed, and unapologetically bitter. No sugar, no cream, no syrups. Nothing to mask the truth of the bean.

    II. The Ritual of Respect
Each cup is a ceremony. I honour the grind, the roast, and the pour. I sip slowly, not out of necessity, but out of reverence.

    III. Strength in Simplicity
I embrace the clarity that black coffee brings: sharp, bold, and disciplined. It awakens the mind without distraction, forging focus and purpose.

IV. The Health of the Devoted
I reject empty additives. My fuel is clean, my energy honest, my body grateful.

    V. Loyalty to the Bean
I defend the sanctity of the coffee bean. Those who adulterate betray not only the cup, but the very essence of coffee itself.

    VI. The Uncompromising Path
I choose the dark, bitter, and true. I walk the path of minimalism, of discipline, of flavour unmasked.

    VII. Declaration of Supremacy
Let it be known: black coffee is not a drink. It is a creed, a standard, a rebellion against mediocrity.

“BEHOLD THE BEAN! NO CREAM! NO SUGAR! ONLY BLACK! ANY OTHER IS TREASON!”

  14. Ryna gave a small, approving nod, closing the Codex gently. “It’s not something I often show,” she said calmly. “The book doesn’t just record—it remembers. Lives, moments, even… feelings. Once it takes a story, it’s part of the weave forever.” She glanced at Aspen, noting the wonder in her gaze. “You should feel honoured—it’s rare for a being like you to leave such a mark.”
  15. Attention, Sharders — Super Earth needs YOU! Helldivers II has exploded onto the scene again, now that Xbox players can play, and I figured it’s about time we had a thread for it here. Whether you’ve been fighting for freedom since the first game or are just now enlisting, this is the place to share your democratic stories, strategies for liberty, and the occasional tragic friendly-fire incident. For anyone not familiar: Helldivers II is a third-person co-op shooter where you and up to three friends take on the role of Helldivers — elite soldiers spreading “Managed Democracy” across the galaxy in service of Super Earth. Missions take place on hostile alien worlds, ranging from bug-infested hellscapes to warzones crawling with Automatons. Victory requires teamwork, good use of stratagems (air-dropped weapons, turrets, nukes, etc.), and a high tolerance for chaos… because friendly fire is always on, and mistakes are inevitable. What makes it special is the Galactic War system: every single mission that players complete contributes to the overall community war effort. You’re not just playing isolated levels — you’re part of a massive, ongoing struggle where victories and defeats actually shape the galaxy. Right now, entire planets are changing hands depending on how well the playerbase pushes back the alien threat. It gives every drop a sense of weight. Personally, I’ve had some of my most ridiculous gaming moments here: Accidentally crushing half my squad with a badly-aimed resupply pod. Dropping a 500kg bomb directly on the enemy… and on my entire squad. Seeing the Galactic War map update and realizing that, yes, our doomed little drop on that little ice ball actually helped liberate a sector. Holding the extraction point against wave after wave of bugs, only to be wiped out seconds before the shuttle arrived. Watching one friend pull off an impossible clutch victory after the rest of us were wiped, only to get obliterated by a stray grenade. Whether you’re a hardened veteran of freedom or someone just considering enlisting, hop in! Share your screenshots, stories, or just vent about how many times your squad has been accidentally annihilated by an orbital strike. For Super Earth! Remember Malevelon Creek and Oshaune!

  17. Coffee is the best thing on Earth. But it has to have nothing added. Caffé Americano forever. Maybe it should be Caffé Canadiano now tho… Hmm… 🇨🇦
