We can't have a pun based magic system, otherwise we couldn't have Hoid or Shallan as they would be too overpowered. Although that means I could steal (steel) punning using Hemalurgy. Yay, instant contempt (for the punning, not the Hemalurgy, that's more socially acceptable).

Got the US edition on Wednesday, read it until 4am, got up at 7 and finished it at school.

It depends whether the mountains are what really give Shinovar its defence against highstorms or whether that's just a convenient excuse and it is really something else. I call Cultivation having some kind of agreement with the Stormfather.

So we now know that Honorblades grant surgebinding powers, although at a much less efficient level, but now that Kaladin has Jezrien's blade, can he augment his own powers with it? Or if he got Nalan's blade, would he be super powerful with basic and reverse lashings but normal with the other one?

I suppose I was also right when I suggested that the Stormfather was a spren. I don't know if anyone else had already brought this up earlier though.

When Kaladin finally realised what he had done wrong and spoke another ideal, (seriously? Is anyone else going to say an ideal before Kaladin reaches the last one?) I did a happy dance and cheared louder than when England scored in the football. Unfortunately, it was 4am.

If Amaram has just arrived, he may well have decided that the best idea would be to report straight to Dalinar as the nominal general in charge. He might have heard that Sadeas and Dalinar were working together but not that Sadeas betrayed him and that tensions are running high if he hurried as fast as he could to the Shattered Plains.

Kaladin does say that the bridge is around 30 feet long, if the ramps made it longer, I think he would have mentioned them...

The plot would have to be padded out a bit for a series but, I actually think that an Elantris tv show could work the best. Some of the other books would be quite difficult to do as a series like Mistborn and Way of Kings, especially as they are not really standalone novels. Too much of Emperor's soul happens in the mind for tv, and a live action Warbreaker would have serious issues in demonstrating the magic effectively.
