  1. Why are there 2 spren for the oathgate? Quite the singularity except if I remember correctly soulcasters. Is one perhaps responsible for transportation across 1 realm, while the other between realms? Like if you kill one with antiloght. Could the other only transport them across shadesmar and physical realm? But not across oathgates? Maybe in future we will see a lonely oathgate spren that moved away from Roshar and now does business as easy transportation across the realms?
  2. Perhaps it is a side effect of perception? We beliefe the soul is inside our bodies and therefor we have to sink in our hand, to grab it.
  3. If lets say, a knight Radiant of the 3rd ideal gains biochromatix breath. Would they start of a higher heightening than a normal person? The thought comes from Tress. The dragon Xirsis seems to be of 10th heightening as he commands cloth from afar. To gain that much breath would be a huge task. Sure for a long living dragon probably feasable but not practicle. Especially for someone as pragmatic as Xirsis. So they maybe found a way to transform different investiture into breath. Which I believe Sanderson said is not that easy as with Stormlight and the other lights. Or a higher rate of investiture jumps one already to a higher heightening with the intake of breath.
  4. Probbaly a moment that I often think about, is from "ways of kings" When Kaladin is laying on deaths bed after the highstorm and he remembers his fathers training. When than looks around, he sees death spren. But small shining figure with a sword is fighting them off. Just the thought that tiny Syl (at that moment she was not that much yet) is protecting him day in, day out from these monsters, always gets me.
  5. Like it is one of their most noticable trait to breath fire? If yes, then how exactly? Maybe they can reach into the spiritual realm and then spew out whatever they get Or do dragons maybe even have different kinds of breath? Like lightning, ice and poison gas. Or maybe even complete unique ones. Like healing, Pinetree needles or maybe even Rubber-duckies? This would so nice!
  6. Where do you have the part with, Nightblood required a Shards intervention. I hear that for the first time?
  7. I just thought of something. On 2 occasions, we saw special drawn paintings, that allowed a person (lightsong and Kaladin) to get a certain vision. Like if they are getting a glimpse into fortune. The painter is probably capable of accessing that, but the question is, how does he put it into a painting for others to experience. What if an awakend brush, with a powerfull command is the reason?
  8. Nightbloods ability is not something that the original Magic system seems to be capable of. But with enough breath, the right heigtneing and enough practice, appearently you can creat weapons/objects with mythological attributes. Lets say the godking. Could he create a whole arsenal of legendary weapons potentially? Like creating a staff that can catch and release lightning. An Umbrella that can create huge gusts of winds when released. A cloak that can make you invisible? What are your opinions?
  9. I don‘t think you could do that, unless maybe with direct interference of a shard. In the exact quote of Sanderson, it is already explains. The spikes are the stitches to staple souls together, but you don‘t have a soul to stitch onto it. I believe the problem lies, that spikes miss some fundamental parts to accomplish it, as they only can take 1 piece out of a persons soul but miss some of the other. Maybe with enough spikes you could do something, but than you ran into the problem of too many different souls inhabiting one body. They don‘t like that. That is one reason as well why no one after ruins fall can have more than 4 spikes. Just too many souls in one body. It maybe could be possible. But it would be as hard as awakaning a liquid probably.
  10. Basiclly the question, nothing too deep. I just thought about it as I thought about the cosmere rpg and what I would do as GM if my players would encounter Hoid?
  11. Like your idea with Autonamy. Maybe the silent but kinda penetrating sound of dark forest. The breaking of twigs in them. Actually quite silent but being the ones that break through the silence, make them memorable. Or the feeling of being better than others. Maybe the feeling of selfsatisfaction. Accomplishing womething, especially against the odds. A form of pride if you may say. Like your description. Maybe a bit darkness would be nice as well. Something like a beast devouring a slain prey, to feed it to its offspring. A flesh bacteria feeding and multiplying in a wound of ill person. Cultivation is not only positive. I see it like ruin. It can destroy something if you can build later more from it.
  12. In some books, it was described if you looked/felt a Shard when you confront the vessel. In case of Odium, you felt various emotions. Like kisses, glory of victory and things like the burning sun. When you looked at Preservation if I remember correctly, you see stone, unmoving moutains over eternity existing. (Please correct me if I am wrong) What do you think, you would feel/see in the other shards? I like colorful creative ideas. Maybe in case of Honor. You would feel steel. Unbreaking steel chains and strings. Maybe you would feel the connection of everybody, the bond that you get from brotherly love, the bond that you feel when keeping a promise. The satisfaction of seeing a surviving family member. Or the feel of protection a weaker person. Cultivation is more clearer. Probably forests, fungus, the smell of carpenter wood, the growth a mother feels in her pregnant womb. But as well the death of an animal that is than devoured by bacteria and than by bigger animals.
  13. Sorry, meant Kelsier.
  14. Are you sure that the Singers have to give up intentional? I remember Raboniel threaten Kaladin that she will take over a mothers body to scar the child for life if he killed her. Sure could be an empty threat and we know she lies too. But still, feels like you only have to be outsite when an Everstorm comes. And with Mistwraits. Well would that be not similar to Kaladin? They do have the ability to imitate any sentient creature they devoured. So why not a Singer?
  15. If you give a mistwraith a gemheart of a parshendi. Could the fused inhabit their bodies? And one over idea. If the fused can use regrowth and we give them the skeleton of Dahkdor user. Will they access to the enchanced bone structure of the dahkdor?
  16. As I understand. In the oathpact, the heralds could banish the fused to Dannation when they defeated them as long as they uphold it. But through a loophole, the fused could always take at least one of Heralds with them to torture them up their until they break. How could they do that?
  17. We know that soulcasted humans can awakened and it is easier than a statue. If you habe the right command and you are of the 9th heightening. Do you think you could awaken the corpse and give it similar abilities to nightblood or Vivienna‘s shardblade.
  18. Well we know from sunlit man, you cann peel off around 3-5%, if I remember correctly, off of a soull, without causing permament damage. The soul would overtime regenerate like a wound or cut that closes itself. As H-Spikes do precisely that. Cutting of the soul. I believe at the cosmere space age, when hemalurgy has been studied more, Scadrial will build some kind of goverment funded soul donation facilities, where you can donate a part of your soul. Similar to blood banks.
  19. At the end of „Rhythm of war“ we see physicly manifested spren in the physical world. Some kind of experiments by Ishar. Is it possible to awaken these corpses?
  20. It seems from what I have read in "Emperor's Soul" that anybody can learn Soulforgery. The only point probably is that you can only learn it on Sel, near the rose kingdom (if I remember the name correctly), as selish magic is based on dominum and distance. So if we had a Twinborn with A-Gold and F-Aluminum. Could they become the best soulforger there exists? They could burn gold to see alternative believable paths of their self, which could help massivly creating your own soulstamp. And they could store their identity to make themselfs easier to be influenced by soulfrogery. They could probably even create alterantive Twinborn selfs of themselfs, as all it takes is to win the genetic lottery, which they already did and only have to swap their powers temporarily out. Who knows, maybe they can even make themselfs a full feruchemist or Mistborn, as it is just a game of chance. Or could they even store the identity of a stamp inside an aluminnum metalmind, to use it later, instead of a stamp.
  21. Metals inside or partially inside are allomantic inapt, for the most people. What if somebody is stabbed by a blade with a wooden handle and the knob of the handle had a seperate ball of metal. Could you steel push the knob and thereby the whole knife?
  22. I do not know what the combination is called. But if a twinborn with A-Bendally (Speed bubble creation) and F-Chromium (Store fortune) would be born, could they make speed-sniper posts? Sanderson once said, one of the reasons why projectiles fly so strange out of speedbubbles, is so that people could not just create sniperposts to attack and flee. But we have `seen, that it is possible to shoot out of a bubble with a lot of luck and talent, as Wax demonstrated when he shot the koloss-blooded to save Marasi. If it was not some form of manipulation from Harmony. So if somebody could draw on fortune (if it does manipulate your luck basicly), could they manage a consistent shot from a speedbubble?
  23. Does this include other bonds? Like aether, aviar or maybe nightblood-bond?
  24. But than why do Fused hear it, like mentioned in RoW?
  25. Hi. I have a question to Vasher/Zahel. We know that Radiants and Fused can hear the scream of deadeyes when they hold their blade. Does Vasher hear them too when he holds them? Or can he supress it similar to his color bubble?
