Update on the hair situation: i have been told i can keep my bangs and just do what i think will look good in the style we’re going for.

a: doesn’t work with my bangs or part (it needs a middle part when i have a side part)
and b: my hair is too fine to make it work
its a dutch braid into a ponytail.

I HATED OUR HAIRSTYLE LAST YEAR
IT WAS LITERALLY A *MOHAWK* OF *THREE MESSY BUNS*
thankfully i have a different director this year who let us choose from three different options depending on whatever would work the best with our hair
his husband happens to be a hairdresser so that also helps
good luck with that
hairstyles that don’t work with your hair type are always tricky

Following that story was insane, I have known couple that got together pretty quickly after a mission cause they talked during it. My parents got married within eight months of knowing each other, thirty years together soon enough.

There’s a special kind of hell when it comes to figuring out College class registrations. My friend legit recommended i use Spreadsheets because multiple teachers are teaching the same topics but are in different buildings on different days.

and honestly all I can say is that I’m glad I decided to read these books. It has been a story I’ve never encountered before and one I don’t think I ever will again.
at least until the next one comes out in 2031.
by then, many things will have changed. But my love of these books and well of Cal as well :].

okay so, every week I talk with cal, and every week he sends a poem as well.
i wrote one for today but it’s late and I don’t know if sending it now would be right or seen, so you guys get my poem. I was inspired by a story he wrote me.
Charles fell
Metaphorically and literally
Oh how he fell
He fell for her
As if she were the ocean
And he was a diver
Unafraid of the dangers
Knowing the rewards below
He fell into her
And fell for her
Eyes exchanging words
A story
A lifetime found in that moment
Apologies exchanged
And on they both went
Could he leave it there?
What if

Thoughts flurried his mind
Like bees in a hive
Turning tail
Rushing back
No thoughts but one

“Hey” he says
She turns, eyes surprised

A million choices could’ve been made

For the first time out of what will become many times: she smiles, truly.
