  2. I think we're too good at remaining unseen...
  3. Excellent idea! I just have a few problems with it. First, each Shard has a different number associated with them. For instance, Preservation is heavily associated with 16 (16 Allomantic metals, 16 Feruchemial metals), Odium with 9 (9 'brands' of Fused, 9 unmade), Cultivation with 3 (3 planets, 3 moons, 3 Bondsmith spren), though hers I'm not so sure on. Anyway, Honor is very focused on 10. 10 Heralds, 10 orders of KR, 10 Surges, 10 gas giants, 10 silver kingdoms, 10 oathgates, 10 deaths, tensets (the Rosharan equivalent of a dozen), etc, etc. So there being ten surges doesn't really surprise me at all. Second, it's not really possible for there to be more orders of KR. After Ishar used his mega Bondsmith powers, the surges were formalized and locked in place. The specific spren for each order were formalized, as were what surges each order would have access to. They can't 'unlock' more surges because there are no more surges to be unlocked. As to Adhesion being a 'God' surge, So either way of thinking is valid. But as he said, be aware she is very, very, biased. Also, try not to double post. If there's something else you'd like to add to your original post, just edit it. Thanks!

  5. Hello! Welcome to the Shard! Would you like a cookie?
  6. Welcome to the Shard! I'll add a second cookie to the pool!

  8. Storming Bondsmiths... why do they have to be so obsessed with Oaths? Truths are so much better.
  9. It's an abomination to all thinking beings! Who do you think would be the best person to lead a global coalition of all the world's nations?
  10. Fellow Lightweavers! We must unite!
  11. Sorry, what? This makes no sense at all. Why would it matter what relationship status someone has for them to get a spren? In fact, both Navani and Stargyle among others were married before they bonded a spren, as well (I'd put Rock in there as well but he never actually bonded a spren). Just because it's the norm for our main characters doesn't mean it's the rule. RoW ch. 12 Adolin hasn't become Radiant because he carries around a dead blade. He's one of the best fits for an Edgedancer we've seen. I think at least one cultivationspren would have bonded him at this point if he had given up Maya. Well, what would be the difference between Syl bonding Kaladin and this? What about Lift/Wyndle? Adolin is one of the most powerful people in the world right now. He's even down with his men so he knows how to help them and what they need. He's in a position to help a boatload of people if he gets a bond. He knows that, and so does the spren in question. cough cough Sadeas cough cough I think in the end, the reason he hasn't given up Maya and become a Radiant is because he has a bond with Maya. At first, it was just the bond of friendship, but now... something new happened at the end of the trial. They're Connected now. Adolin would never abandon her at this point. If he were to become Radiant, he'd do it with Maya. If not, then he'd refuse the spren that asked him because he will not give her up for anything. Nooooo! Adolin can't abandon Maya! He's not allowed! I just really like both Adolin and Maya, if you couldn't tell...
  12. Something like "Master of the House" from Les Mis but for Odium, Sadeas, or Amaram. "Honor is dead" "I'm Adolin Kholin and I'm in a Duel" "We chose!" A song for every important Oath that's said. Shallan's "oh no I killed my ____" "The King's Wit" All of Hoid's stories. "How bad can I possibly be" from the Lorax but for Amaram "The Assassin in White" "Oh storms... what have we done?" - the prelude "Unite them" And finally... "You. Cannot. Have. My. Pain!" Bonus track: Moash He doesn't deserve a punctuation mark.
  13. Hurt Human, heal... Ranette. Also, in case you missed it, when we're hurting a character we hurt it for 2 health now. Becca Nightshade - 10 Chiri-Chiri - 10 Ellista - 6 Gaotona - 10 Hesina - 10 Kimmalyn - 10 Lem - 10 Lukel - 10 Mem - 6 Morriumur - 6 Ranette - 9 Human - 6 Yalb - 9
  14. Well, I am now one of those who first explored the lovely Forests of Hell, so... no magic yet. Oh well, it's coming soon! Hopefully!
  15. Hurt Human, heal Ranette Becca Nightshade - 10 Chiri-Chiri - 10 Ellista - 5 Gaotona - 10 Hesina - 10 Kimmalyn - 10 Lem - 10 Lukel - 10 Mem - 6 Morriumur - 6 Ranette - 9 Human - 7 Yalb - 10
  16. I think you mean Koravelliumium I've said this before, and I'll say it again. In general, Elantrians are the most powerful magic users in the Cosmere. They can do anything the other magic systems can do and more! With enough preparation, they could give themselves Steelrunning, or Awaken objects, or Lightweave, and so, so much more. They could make Cosmere magical artifacts. They could probably even fly. Even against Hoid, Salay, Ann, Fort, and Huck, Riina's chances of losing were only around 1 in 5. Shai destroyed quite a lot of the Set as an Elantrian. They're incredibly powerful, and there can be a lot of them. Much more than there can be of Fullborn, for example. Being a Fullborn is impossible without intervention, and after Era 2, there'd have to be a lot of spikes made to become a full Feruchemist. That opens up that person to Harmony's control, which I would say diminishes their power and threat level.
  17. I don't belive it gives magic, though I may be wrong. It's just a great cookie! Don't mind the spikes, they're just there for flavor. Hey, I just distribute these things. Your questions should go... to someone who knows what they're talking about.
  18. Hello! Welcome to the Shard! I haven't gotten around to painting my minis yet, but I'm excited to start. Would you like a cookie?
  19. Hello! Welcome to the Shard! I agree, there's been a lot of new books coming out. Would you like a cookie?
  20. Why? They broke the bond they had with their weapons. By all accounts, that's it. They're no longer connected to the Honorblades. If they were, when Jezrien was killed by Moash, his blade would have appeared next to him. It didn't. If Shallan's mom was Chana, then the blade in the safe would have to have been her Honorblade. It wasn't. It was Testament instead. Let me reiterate. The Heralds abandoned their Blades. They have no connection to them now. (Except Taln. And Nale.) They're done with their Blades, they don't want to be responsible for millions of people again, and there is no connection anymore.
  21. Yeah... like a stealth Shard that actually managed to do what Odium could not - stay hidden... Imagine if Valor has been at Roshar this whole time. That would be a really cool twist.
  22. Instead, strange abandoned chickens live inside chasmfiends alone eating.
  23. I need Fused Dalinar to happen. It sounds like the coolest thing to have the Blackthorn himself fighting to destroy what he had built up. Also, what if Dalinar still picks up Honor? How would a Fused Shard that's beholden to Odium work? A vassal Shard?
  24. Welcome to the Shard! Would you like a cookie? I can assure you that they're completely safe!
