  1. Somehow, I thought that most of that stuff was related to both Honor and Cultivation. Maybe my understanding of the concept of honor aligns more with the shard of Cultivation that the shard of Honor's concept of honor does.
  2. Why did you make Dalinar so pale?
  3. In one of Szeth's early interludes we are led to believe that they do.
  4. I have not read the whole thread, but I saw this and thought "maybe it is a Shardblade and it is Shallan's mother's soul. Maybe Shallan has bonded to a third blade, but this blade, rather than a cryptic, is one of the heralds."
  5. The people in charge of the Rose Empire. Isn't he the only person ever shown struggling against hazekillers?
  6. Are we going to get Yoki-Hijo and nightmare painter on here?
  7. Thank you for clarifying.
  8. I just want it to be clear since, while you did not say that explicitly, I thought you might be implying it. While the nightmares/shadows of the scholars claimed that the father machine had no desires, Hoid that they were slightly wrong.
  9. I think earlier today I read a WOB from earlier this week saying that Nightblood is not a Dawnshard.
  10. What makes it a Necro thread? I looked at the linked guidelines and did not see any cutoff and this thread was started less than four years before my post and has not been locked.
  11. Yoki-hijo?
  12. I do not think that it has been clearly shown what that does.
  13. No.
  14. I am pretty sure that unless he was literally a Worldbringer during the Final Empire period, which he plausibly could have been, the Worldsingers were all gone at that time and had been for over 1,000 years.
  15. Or maybe that would be the Dark Aethers.
  16. Did you get a say in picking them?
  17. Someone suggested, and it makes sense to me, that he visited that world at some point before they turned on the machine and that is how he knows so much about how things work in Yumi's world.

    The Ghostbloods

I saw Iyatil and for a moment thought she was Monkey D Dragon.
  19. Most people seem to be approaching this in terms of interesting, creative, or useful ways of combining powers, but that is not what I meant. For example, for a Windrunner, I am talking about things good for protecting, not necessarily things that go well with adhesion and gravitation.
  20. Are you the guy that that one guy who put poison in his boss's tea was named after?
  21. By me. Honorspren (for Windrunners) are basically the super version of windspren. They are bigger, stronger, and smarter, but they look alike, act somewhat alike, and share association with and use of the order's primary surge (adhesion). A similar relationship seems to be present between Highspren and gravityspren. They both match up with the Skybreaker's primary surge (Highspren appearance seems like bending of or hole in spacetime). Starspren on the other hand, don't seem to have much of an association. Gravityspren also seem to be an appropriate size (they are seen in the physical realm near creatures they bond and in the cognitive realm pulling boats). Additionally, both windspren and gravityspren are known to provide ordinary singer forms. This is not known to be the case for starspren.
  22. I believe that Odium can appear to Dalinar not because of Dalinar's connection to Honor, but because of Dalinar's connection to Odium.
  23. I would have voted for The Lopen, followed by Lyft, if they were on the list.
  24. What do you think are some of the best Twinborn combinations for each order thematically? This is not so much about stuff like exploiting loopholes with a chosen four powers or stuff like that, it is more about getting to extra powers that match what the order is meant to be and do. I was thinking that Skybreakers, as lawkeepers, would probably be best with A-bronze (for tracking) and F-copper (for recalling criminals' faces, laws, etc.). Other possibilities I thought of for them are F-duralumin, F-bronze, and A-tin.
  25. Both sides need to make more of a point of having people pass on their breathes when they are on their deathbeds.
