I personally interpreted it as just, getting into the role as he always does. Given we have seen that Identity Feruchemy doesn't exactly change how one identifies or their personality. But, maybe it can be done in a different way to do that. But not entirely convinced.
-
We kinda got an introduction to Autonomy in the main books, Oathbringer had a bit from her. But to have a large role, yeah. Given not even White Sand really had much of her beyond the Sky Faces. So would be cool to actually see her and stuff. I also am excited for whatever role Whimsy has in the book. As Brandon did say Whimsy is mentioned in it. As Whimsy is an attribute is far less majestic and big than the other Shards. Wondering how exactly they work. Maybe be like Trickster Deities from various religions, like Wisakedjak or such. But not exactly sure.

It could have somehow fused together with the Trellium or iron, yeah. That would explain the black "iron" powder, which seems too significant to just be mere iron. With how it specifically pointed it out, and made it a point to show that he inhaled it.
-
I expanded more on it, just reload the page. Also, I personally feel it just implies a mechanical filter. By saying they are able to filter the air. But that is just my opinion on it.
-
Well, I think that they did have filtration and weren't just like, the store-bought cloth masks we've been wearing for a while, given It says that the cloth masks do have filtration, so I expect they were some early form of gas mask or respirator. furthermore They let the room ventilate for a while before going in, so the Chlorine gas wouldn't be as concentrated, and would have mostly aired out. They also heard of the Chlorine gas after putting on masks, and after the idea it could be there came up, they decided to let it air out and wait.

Yeah, as I said in my last comment, Trell definitely isn't Odium. At most, it is corrupted by Odium. But even that I feel iffy about, given the fact that Harmony didn't recognize Trell at all, and it seems he would recognize it if Odium was mixed into it. Given he recognizes Odium. And then there is also the points I mentioned in my last comments about how the Men of Red and Gold are explicitly not of Trell.

Everyone also seems to miss that it seems the "men of red and gold" are not something to do with Trell. But something Trell will stop. Given they keep warning of the "coming of the men of red and gold", and how they should worship Trell in order to protect themselves. My theory, Trell is an Avatar of Autonomy, and the Men of Red and Gold have to do with Odium. Given we know Odium wants to spread across the Cosmere and kill all the Shards (at least, before Todium).

Well, it was confirmed that Ettmetal and Harmonium does create an extremely powerful bomb. Converting a portion of the used Harmonium directly into energy. Very small amount (literally a small fraction of half of a gram) can completely destroy a room and a reinforced safe.

The more we get in these previews, the less and less I find myself able to wait.

Doubt it, as we see that the area in which two opposite bubbles intersect tend to cancel each other out and return to normal time. Also, what are you trying to say in that last paragraph? Sorry, but I just can't really make it out, can you try rewording it?
-
WoB said it does have an effect when burned, but it is a RAFO. Answer as for what we know, is it would react and explode before you could actually burn it.

Don't have much to say here I didn't say in the other section, but here is a Cosmere Spoilers section for TLM 16-18. https://www.tor.com/2022/11/07/read-the-lost-metal-by-brandon-sanderson-chapters-sixteen-through-eighteen/ Here is the link for the chapters.

I don't think that it is going to be as simple as just one formula, I think that the Investiture-Energy and Investiture-Mass relations are different than Energy-Mass. So, maybe it is indeed more like E = M(sub)i*c^2. At least that is how I interpreted it. With Mi being the mass of the God Metal. Also, yes, E=mc^2 is about rest mass. Full one is E^2 = (mc^2)^2 + (pc)^2. With p being momentum. M is specifically rest mass, therefore, it is not the whole m * (1/sqrt(1-(v^2 / c^2))) thing.

I adore them too, I love the chapters based around worldbuilding and building up the mechanics and such. Very fun and captivating. And yeah, Sanderson said in a WoB that he has been working on planning out Metalborn Sports because they are going to be big in Era 3 (probably not in the story, but at least in terms of world/culture). Gonna be interesting.

It would be Kelsierium IMO, but the properties should be the same as Lerasium, yes. He didn't hold it long enough for the Intent of the Shard to change enough to make any noticeable difference in the physical manifestation.
-
So, seems like my theory was correct. It was indeed a matter-energy conversion. And was also only a small portion of the matter he used that was converted, another thing I predicted. Feels good to get it right, even if it was obvious.
-
He said in a WoB that verbs are usually first in their language. Which reduces it down to VSO or VOS. Considering that the Unkalaki language is based on Ōlelo Hawaiʻi. This is obvious in the structure and use of glottal stops, and has been stated in WoB. Ōlelo Hawaiʻi happens to be VSO. Secret Project

Rashek has far more combat experience, while Susebron has never really actually fought before. Rashek also has a more combat focused skill set, and one that is able to be used quicker. Rashek is also smarter and more duplicitous. So I feel that Rashek has all kinds of advantages over Susebron in terms of combat.
-
Technically he could have made one but the properties wouldn't be especially different from Lerasium, same Shard, and not enough time for him to be able to effect the Intent.

I'm reading The Stormlight Archive for the first time
Firesong replied to Amira's topic in Stormlight Archive
As Ninth said, I doubt you will. I personally came to love him a lot more through SA3 and 4. -
That does make sense, Spook is definitely involved.

I'm reading The Stormlight Archive for the first time
Firesong replied to Amira's topic in Stormlight Archive
To Amira, on Szeth. What is going on isn't magical, according to WoB. But rather due to abuse, gaslighting, and a lot of other things to make him feel worthless and penitent to the extreme. We do not fully understand what is going on or why it was treated as so extreme, yet. Won't say what we know, yet, as I forgot how much you know at the moment. We are still learning exactly why, but basically, he just feels like a traitor on a very fundamental level. There is also a thematic reason, IMO, displaying someone with a very, very strong sense of honor to his code. Due to the importance of the concept of honor in the books. I will say, though, you do still begin to learn more in Words of Radiance. So you don't have to wait until SA5 to learn more. He goes through some interesting development. -
I at least want to get this out there, because at least being able to have this heard will let me relax a little. Not having a chance is driving me crazy. I am not able to actually go out for events and the like, and do have questions I want to see asked. So I am seeing if anyone would like to ask them for me. Don't feel as if I am forcing you to, no need to if it is too much of a bother. Secret Project Spoiler Questions: Again, feel no obligation to ask these for me. But if you do, I thank you.

And turns out you were right, not wrong. As SP4 is clearly not on Ashyn, given that it doesn't fit any book or WoB descriptions of it.
