Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted

"Wait!" Hav shouted, "Don't - " Hav grabbed X's shoulder and pulled him back behind the defensive line of his remaining squad. "Are you people crazy?" He pushed X into the arms of Grel. "Keep this guy here - and don't let him go unless he has a very, very good reason." Grel nodded, keeping X in a bear hug. Hav glanced after Matra, then ran after her, turning his blast level to max. "Lyna!" He shouted. Lyna was kneeling on the ground nearby a corpse, holding her head, her helmet on the ground, mouth speaking without words. He stopped, blasting a tiger that got too close, torn between friendship and duty. He chose friendship and ran towards her, shouting. "Lyna!" Telrao huffed and scribbled another Aon on the ground, sending another blast of flame into the air before teleporting away.... directly into a waiting pack of tigers. They screeched, metal bodied twisting about to surround her. She scrambled to draw another Aon Tia, but was shoved backwards. She howled and started running. @The Wandering Wizard -

The Clinic: The Roof Telrao skidded to a stop nearby Thaidakar and scribbled another Aon in front of herself in the air. "I... am not... just a cat... Thaidakar." The Aon pulsed and let out a burning column of white fire. She paused for a breather, drawing an Aon Iir on the ground, placing her paw on it and breathing in its strength. She bared her teeth. "I'm a Therapy Cat." She then used another Aon Tia to teleport her away from the group of Kaos tigers that were chasing her. -
I'm here now >:D Have a poem: The road meanders ahead, The lonely road that stretches Far over the frosted land. An owl hoots as the sun sets, Beads of glimmering fire Set in the frozen trees. The snow crunches beneath each step Glimmering crystals shattering, Glittering even in death. Soft thumps echo, Through the lonely valley Up the next hill, And through the trees. It follows the road, Lonely and cold Towards a warm cabin. My home. (I know it has like no rhyme or rhythm but uhhh yems)

Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted

The Clinic: The Roof Telrao hissed, struggling to stand, trying to fight against that... power. As the tigers' tongues touched her fur, she felt her inner Light dimming, her very soul trembling in fear. "NO!" She shouted, drawing that Kaos into her bracelet, capturing it, keeping it away from her. The black-violet light writhed around the metal, growing denser with every second. "I REFUSE TO FALL! I REFUSE TO FAIL AGAIN!" She used a small amount of that Kaos, retching as she drew a small Aon Tia of the ground. She placed her paw in the centre and was teleported away from the group of tigers, breathing hard through her small mouth. She began the slow process of uncorrupting the power, sickened as she was. Gradually, a small store of Light was restored within her, warmly embracing her soul. She sighed in relief and glanced back at the battle, checking the runes on her paw pads. Two of them flickered an onyx black. That was close. Too close. Her breath hissed through her mouth as she drew an Aon Ien, healing her wounds, giving her strength. She stood firmly on four feet, her hackles rising. She knew that the Tigers would be onto her soon. Already, their heads twisted, blind eyes seeking her, their noses smelling her scent. Bring it on. She thought, checking her bracelet. The Kaos power stored there was a little less than before. She could probably escape again if captured. Probably. She scribbled an Aon Tia and re-joined the fight, scribbling Aon Ehes around the pillar, sending blasts of fire into the air. @The Wandering Wizard -

Telrao's ears went back as she watched those tigers edge closer... closer. She tried to move back, but her legs collapsed beneath her. Traitorous. Too much... too much! She tried to stand, but collapsed again. She searched for some Connection to provide power, but the only one she found was... was... Kaos "No!" She mewed pitifully as she tried to scribble an Aon Edo on the ground. Her paws shook, her lines wobbly, and the Aon faded before she had finished. "No..." Her breath came in gasps as she watched the tigers come closer, screeching growls of victory in their throats. They knew she was weak. They knew she had used too much power and was... susceptible. Corruptible. "Please, no..." @The Wandering Wizard ------- Lyna saw a new tiger bound towards the man and the bunny, along with the hellish being covered in blood-red flame. It stopped and began... speaking with them? What? "Maintain your positions." She said to her squad. She checked her gun and flicked the safety off. "I'm going in." "Captain!" Hav said, his voice strained. "Please... don't!" "You're in charge now, Captain Hav." Lyna replied, turning towards him and saluting. "Protect these people with your life. Something important is happening. I need to be a part of it." With that, she stalked towards the group of people, gun held pointing down towards the ground. She hovered close to where they were, ready to take action at a moment's notice. -

Lyna nodded, then stood and pulled out her gun, feeling a lot more safe with the weapon in her hands. She waved her hand, and her squad formed up around X and Matra. "Maintain defensive positions, team." She said. "Do not shoot unless one of those things comes to attack us." They all nodded, visors down, reflecting the fading light of the pillar. Hav gripped his gun tightly, then pointed. "Sir? What is Telrao doing?" Lyna glanced towards the small feline, who was close by the pillar, drawing frantically as a pack of tigers ran towards her. Closer, closer. The lines of light grew brighter, and Lyna flicked her visor down. What is she doing? Lyna wondered. Then she saw the Aon Ashe hovering in the air. Oh. "Adjust your visors to dark mode, squad. Things might get a little bright." -
Eliira smiled, then held up the woodblock, roughly shaped the Zirn'rii. Ha! He said, she did make me! "Art is a beautiful thing - it brings joy to see something well made. Like the soup - something tasty makes us feel happy." She sheathed her dagger then held the small sculpture in both hands, closing her eyes. With a puff of smoke, small grains of wood slid off the sides of the sculpture, leaving a perfect model of Zirn'rii. She blew off the residual dust and gave it to Rayvyn. "And something..." she sighed and glanced at Zirn'rii, "Something tasty to our eyes brings joy. I can teach you to carve, if you like."

Telrao watched with a feeling of dread as the pack of tigers she had just escaped. Her heart sunk to her paws as she glanced again towards the pillar. I can't keep running forever... She hissed and began to draw Aon Rao again and again and again, covering the floor and air around her with hovering white lines. She breathed deeply, then drew a single Aon Ashe. Light. I hope this works. She placed her paw in the centre of the Aon Ashe and poured her Light into it. The lines grew brighter, until it was almost a blinding glow. Then, when nearly all her power was spent, she released it, directing it outwards and around her. @The Wandering Wizard -
"Art has no purpose but to be art!" Elira exclaimed, eyes shining. She took out her dagger as unthreateningly as she could and began carving chunks off of the wood block. Zirn'rii zipped about. Are you making me? Are you making me?! He asked excitedly. He landed as a tiny dragon on Rayvyn's shoulder. Do you think she's making me? Oooo is she?

The Clinic: The Roof Telrao yelped but kept her paw steady as she drew a whirling set of lines that twisted and layered over each other. Her mouth opened wide as she panted, scribbling with glowing, writhing white lines. She could feel the corruption outside, seeking, whispering. Fatal. The scent of Kaos was so terrible she almost gagged. Steady, steady, she thought to herself as she completed the weaving web of lines. She waited a couple precious seconds more, watching the shield weaken, the Kaos Tigers slashing, roaring with shrieking voices. Now! Telrao added the final line, disappearing from the bubble in a blinding flash of light, a column of flame bursting from the middle, eagerly licking at the tigers. The shield collapsed, letting loose the deadly white hot flame that could melt the very air itself. The small feline appeared next to the pillar, panting but disguised with Aon Shao as a patch of corruption. She saw Insa working at the pillar, pressing her hands to it. She prayed her distraction would be enough for someone to do something. @The Wandering Wizard -

The Clinic: The Roof Lyna rubbed her chin. She glanced over and winced at the ongoing battle, hoping that the small Therapy Cat would be all right. "I don't have much experience with... power or magic. But what I do know is this - everyone, and I mean everyone has a ghost within them that they need to fight. This state you mentioned may be key to... something." She shook her head, again looking at the battle. "If you can get this state to happen, we will protect you and your friend." Telrao's breath sped up as she heard the hellish shrieking behind her. She hissed, blue eyes wide, and began to draw a detailed Aon Edo on the ground, reinforcing it with multiple Aon Raos. The white bubble went up, and she began to draw a small Aon Tia beside an Aon Ashe. Her ears went back as she drew, hearing those claws come closer and closer. @The Wandering Wizard -
I'm curious as well! I'm gonna waste so much time on these commissions

The Clinic: The Roof Lyna studied their faces, then glanced towards the fight with the skeleton tigers. Her fingers itched for her gun, but she stayed them. "You both have the look of special powers about you," She said, turning back towards them. "What can you do?" @Shadowed @xinoehp512 ----- Telrao watched as one of the tigers melted in a heated blast of flame. She bared her teeth and snuck closer to the tigers, beginning to draw an Aon Ehe with multiple modifiers to make the blast searing hot. She carefully added the final line and ducked away, letting the blast of white-hot flame hit a tiger dead-on. She then ran farther away from where X and Matra were hiding, drawing another Aon Ehe and blasting the tigers again. @The Wandering Wizard -

The Clinic: The Roof Lyna flipped up the visor of her helmet and gave a tight smile. "Not one helper. Five of the Elite. I am Captain Lyna." She flicked the safety on on her gun and slipped it into her shoulder holster. She turned and pointed to her squad. "These are four of my most well trained soldiers - Grel, Hav, Ryn and Vic." The two men and two women waved, then returned to training their gunsights on the nearby Kaos tigers. She turned back towards Matra and X. "And you are...?" @xinoehp512 @Shadowed -
That's awesome! *excitement* Felix culpa
