TURNS OUT I DON'T HAVE TO GIVE UP MY LAPTOP OVER THE SUMMER!

Also yearbooks got out today, and my parents bought me a little section in it makes me happy, especially after being passive aggressively talked at by my mom. She's always frustrated about how she always has to stop what she's doing to give me a ride home and how it's very inconvenient.

Today is the last regular day of school. Tomorrow is the recognition ceremony, and Thursday only goes to 11:15. Lots of weird emotions. This is our last full day of choir, too... wow, this is weird. Surreal.

My brain: If you eat too much butterscotch, it burns your throat.

Me: Noted. *continues eating butterscotch chips/morsels*

Today was kind of weird. That's all.

HI! THAT'S ALL! I'M JUST HAPPY  

It's been one of those days :(

BUT ALSO MY SISTER AND I DRESSED UP AND THEN WENT DOWN TO THE WOODS AND DID PICTURES! It was a lot of fun and we have some pretty cool pictures  

I definitely didn't just come up with another fantasy look  It includes a few new costume pieces, too! This time it's more of an adventurer look  

I tried the eyeliner in the waterline thing and it makes me look a lot older. Also I basically cried doing it because I nearly poked my eye like six times  

Also, I think I have spring allergies. Congestion is the worst. Bleh.

GOOD MORNING GOOD PEOPLE!!!!! How doest y'all fare this morrow?

Last night, I didn't have a lot of time to talk about how fun yesterday was! It also just didn't cross my mind lol  

So yesterday was the 8th grade celebration since we've got like 2.5 school days left, and we're going to move on to high school next. You know, all that jazz.

So, in the morning, we all got there and played Minute to Win It games. I won the cup stacking--that's always been my strong suit since they made us do it during PE in elementary school, haha.

Then we got on our buses to head to the movie theater--turns out it's pretty bougie... you should see the inside of that place. It's fancy--though I did have one problem with it. The seats weren't as comfy as other theater seats, AND THEY COULDN'T RECLINE!

We watched the newest Guardians of the Galaxy. It's kind of gruesome, but I haven't seen the other two to really compare it to, and it's the only Marvel movie I've watched all the way through. I know, I know. Hush. Also, I didn't cry at all, which made some of my friends upset because they cried four or five times xD But hey, that's not my problem. I can't make myself cry. My friend also shared some of her pizza with me  

After that, we went back to the school to eat lunch. There had been a miscommunication where they'd told us we could get a cafeteria lunch, but we couldn't actually get a cafeteria lunch...? So I went without a lunch that day lmao. 

And then the games commenced! Tug of war (we lost miserably, it was like five of us girls against 12 guys... ), cornhole, that game where you toss the ball onto the circular net trampoline thing, kickball, volleyball, etc. During volleyball, I got hit in the face really hard by an overinflated ball that some of the boys were using, and it kind of broke my glasses, almost made my nose bleed, and cut both my lips on my braces. It also resoreified my sore teeth (I had just gotten my braces adjusted). It makes eating rather painful. But yeah, that hurt a lot lol.

Oh and root beer floats! Those were yummy  

The last thing we did was the teacher dunk tank. I didn't participate since I am not good at throwing lmao but one of my friends plays softball (Mal's sister), and she nailed the target.  A lot of teachers were dunked!

I love doing fantasy makeup. It's SO MUCH FUN! I did some last week, some yesterday, and I'm working on it again today. Such a blast

I did a new cover! I was listening to a For You stream on Spotify and this song came and hit me in the face with a cinder block. So I sang it! It's super rough and my voice isn't at its best because my vocal cords are still recovering from the musical, but I think the good parts make up for the rougher parts. Enjoy?

Today has just been... sad.  

*cough cough cough cough*

My throat is still really hoarse (neiiighhhh) from using it so much last week and over the weekend. It doesn't hurt, but my voice is especially rough and I'm coughing a lot. Not sick tho  

I'm upset that the school year is ending, despite my desperation for school to be over. It's the people and extracurriculars-- I'm gonna really miss the people.

I've discovered a band whose music hits so hard {NOTE: my mom has been listening to them since before I was born, so I grew up around their music, but I never really realized how much I just... wow}... like a rock to the stomach, like hands on my throat. Some of their music hurts, but others... just wow.
