  1. Refnet “Let’s do that. We haven’t been here long enough for me to make a gateway, so that’s probably our best option.”
  2. Welcome!! Advice for surviving the shard? Let's see...don't accept cookies from anyone. ANYONE. If people are talking about things you don't understand in all caps, pick a side and have fun. Don't murder anyone.
  3. Yesssssss keep biking, forget everything else!
  4. Yes! Thank you!! I love the kingkiller chronicles, but my copy of the wise man's fear has a few missing pages. I wish I'd had something like this when I read it the first time.
  5. Refnet “Try it,” Rue suggested. “I’m not much for sitting around either. Maybe someone else knows where the pillars are.”
  6. Refnet "Oh" Rue blew out a puff of air. "What a mess. We might as well stay and help the refugees, but if Emma wins then none of it will matter anyway..." She shook her head, looking pained. "I don't know."
  7. Refnet "Could we stop Bookwyrm, or would trying only put him and whoever else he's with in more danger?" Rue hesitated, then sighed. "If destroying the bind points would really slow Emma down, then we should probably do that."
  8. I love the Old Woman Josie one!!
  9. Edgedancer!! At least I was.. for several blissful months... and then I took it again and got lightweaver.
  10. Dude. Those were all beautiful, that second one especially.
  11. “All that can happen to her has happened. She has endured all, borne all, experienced all, suffered all, lost all, wept for all. She is resigned, with that resignation resembling indifference as death resembles sleep. She shuns nothing now. She fears nothing now. Every cloud falls on her, and the whole ocean sweeps over her! What does it matter to her? The sponge is already saturated.

So she believed at least, but it is wrong to imagine that one can exhaust one's destiny or fully plumb the depths of anything.

Alas! What are all these destinies driven helter-skelter? Where do they go? Why are they what they are?

He who knows that sees all darkness.

He is alone. His name is God."

    I'm rereading Les Miserables :D:D:D

I love beautiful writing and...oh storms I'm not going to make it very far without sobbing my soul out.

In other news, it's supposed to snow on Tuesday. Stupid weather, ruining all my plans.

We had to homeschool for a while during COVID and it was absolutely crap. I had a baby sister, a toddler brother, a kindergarten sister who couldn't use her mousepad correctly, and a 6?5? grade sister that refused to do any work. Never again lol. But if it works it works!

      The Paradoxical Phenomenon

Yeah, it doesn’t work for everybody. I think you should be educated in the way that helps you learn best, and for my family, that’s homeschool.

Yep! I'm glad you found something that works for your family!

  12. If you ever need to talk, I'm here. Don't stop writing.
  13. Oh good that means I'm doing it right
  14. Do you know what a capital letter is? How many socks do you lose per day? Cats, dogs, lizards, horses, pokey things, or fuzzy things? Favorite musical? Favorite symphony? Favorite song? Favorite non-Sanderson book? Fire, volcanoes, explosions? Dagger, sword, poison, or bow? On a scale of 47 to -3, how much chouta is the 15th letter in the alphabet, true or false. Which fictional world would you want to live on? (doesn't have to be Sanderson)
  15. Whoops, I didn't notice. I'll try to avoid dying in the future Yeah. Honestly, the way I write like...I had no idea what this poem was going to be when I started. I didn't know how long it would be, I didn't know if it would be hopeful or hopeless...that's just how I write, I guess? I never plan anything I just write and then I can feel when I'm done. Thank you
  16. That was beautiful. *hugs*
  17. New leaves on old trees.

New gas in an old red push mower.

New clouds in the same sky.

New thoughts in a tired body.

    A cold new breeze.

    A tired old house.

New music in the same old playlist.

I mowed the lawn for the first time all winter today :D

  18. Rayvyn nodded, understanding his logic perfectly. “Yes. It was good soup.”
  19. "Oh." Rayvyn walked over to Eliira and tapped her on the shoulder. "May I please stab you?" @Telrao
  20. Rayvyn thought for a moment. "So I should stab her!" She pointed at Eliira. "Because she looks sad, so being stabbed would make her happy!"
