  1. I totally feel that way all the time. I always go cry to my older brother. It probably isn't the best solution, but it works really well. He gives amazing advice. If you have a brother you trust enough, you should try it. That being said, both my PMs and DMs are open to anyone that needs to talk. I'm a really good listener (or so I like to think) and try to give good advice. I highly recommend the Get yer hugs here chat similar to this one. It is full of kind people willing to give you a boost.
  2. Yeah, it's driving my friend crazy that the Dawnshard gives basically the Third Heightening but all of us people that have read all of the cosmere (besides a few thing ie. secret projects, maybe a few novellas etc. etc.) won't tell him anything besides, "It's not Breaths," and "RAFO." I wonder if that is how Brandon feels.
  3. Okay, I've been thinking about how Odium is trapped on Roshar because Honor forced him to invest there (binding him). Could a bondsmith (Nahel bond) strengthen or weaken these bonds? Could that be why Odium wants Dalinar (THE BONDSMITH!!!) to be on his side? If not, could a person wielding Ishar's Honorblade do it because they are "a bondsmith unchained?"
  4. Would a sphere with stormlight in it weigh more than a sphere that doesn't? If so, do the different lights (Voidlight, Warlight, Stormlight, Towerlight, Lifelight, Cultivation+Odium's light) have different weights? And do the lights have mass? If they do, do they have different masses? Thanks ya'll
  5. Yep. Gotta love that person. *rolls eyes*
  6. I was missing information. Dang. Thanks for the correction. Was the first part right though?
  7. It probably wouldn't be resurrection as much as Galivar becoming a Fused spirit or something similar.
  8. The only people I personally know of to have held it that are still alive are Hoid and Rysn. My personal theory is that the Dawnshard was the weapon used to kill Adonalsium. (It's possible I'm missing information about the Dawnshard that invalidate one or both things I said.)
  9. yeah, I meant Sliver, I just put Splinter instead. Following that up, does that make the Stormfather both a Sliver and a Splinter because he is a Splinter fused with a cognitive shadow making him Sliver?
  10. Are all of Yolen's inhabitants dragons?
  11. The only problem would be that first Odium would have to get Renarin to agree to be his champion. Other than that, this makes sense because Taravangian says he can see possibilities that Rayse didn't see, this could be one of them.
  12. yeah, I can see that now, I just interpreted it differently. I doubt we can. I'd say it's impossible but eventually Brandon might come out with some sort of exchange rates or something.
  13. but, if we bring rosharan currency to Earth, the crystals are worth a lot so they would buy a lot of stuff.
  14. I completely forgot about that. Thanks for the answer.
  15. I can see only one problem with that. If you have a single really powerful Breath, could it eventually become the equivalent of a Divine Breath and you would be able to gift it to someone and heal them?
  16. How does Hoid have so much fortune? could it have to do with the weapon used on Adonalsium?
  17. I feel like the only problem with that is that you might have to break that spike with your spike which could be hard because the spikes are made of the same material
  18. yeah, I know you would lose a ton of power, but I was curious if you could do it.
  19. can you hemelurgically steal feruchemical powers?
  20. Since hemelurgy lets you steal allomatic powers but you lose some of their power, could you steal a hemelurgist's hemelurgic powers using hemelurgy?
  21. He was a KR, even if he was old, he could still beat a normal human in a fight. And yes, I know that Hoid isn't a normal human, but still, Hoid isn't going to kill a KR over Hoid himself insulting the KR.
  22. i doubt it. Hoid wouldn't have been the King's Wit at that point in time and that is his excuse for insulting people. He would have been attacked and "killed" if he insulted people as much as he does now back then.
  23. It's funnier when Wit's comments completely fly over their head though. And when Shallan fights back, her insults/comments are rarely even funny. It's mostly Wit's responses that are funny
  24. Hoid probably was on Roshar for at least some of the time of the KR, but I don't think he would have been seen as someone who was not to be trusted. After all, he has a Nahel bond and hasn't killed his spren.
