    Guys, I'm tearing up reading all of these. I guess my happy place is probably... On stage. Performing, whether it be bass, singing, or piano. Standing (or sitting) in the lights, illuminated and proud. Fingers flying over the keys, practically attacking the audience with the amount of sound I produce. Months of preparation poured into a single, stunning night of songs. The orchestra behind me, backing me up in everything I do. Mind free to wander and contemplate life as my practice takes over, allowing me to go blank and just feel. To just know, "This is what I'm meant to do." Every fiber of my soul moved and my eyes watering as I continue to pour my heart out to the audience. The world going quiet as I finish and bow, then take my leave. Being able to just ignore what I need to do and focus on the now and the distant future, not the current one. Thank you so much @Elf! This has made me realize what I like and need, and what i need to do. I also feel much better.

    sorry if you misunderstood me, most violinists have earned my bad opinion, I know most of them personally. So I try to keep an open mind.

    I must admit that doubt is a common fault of mine. Lo, I wish it were not so, and it fills me with woe, but it is true.

    they only eat you sometimes. and they always kill you fist. Just kidding, they'll get a little upset, but they wont do much, they'll just tell you not to do it again.

    Okay. You can have your opinion. I personally only read her chapters to see Wit, Pattern, and worldbuilding. Sorry, I'm not saying all are, but every single one except two people (one of whom quit violin) are annoying. At least when they're my age. I play in a different orchestra too, and the violins are less annoying, but they still aren't great. Too be entirely fair, I'm speaking a bass player who is constantly bored because the violins in my school orchestra aren't at my level and so I'm constantly bored. Plus, I always want the hard songs and everyone else (besides the other basses) wants the easy songs. I got outvoted by a little bit on a song that had a bass solo that I totally would have gotten just because the violin part was a little bit harder on that one than the one they chose, so I'm a little upset at violins. Sorry if you're insulted by what I'm saying. I call it as I see it, but if your experience is different than mine, I apologize. I'm sure that you guys are good people. I just know a lot of annoying violins. I respect the instrument but the people themselves have to earn my respect.

    Noticing a new weight to the sandwich, I assume it is the responsibility. Wait. I don't believe in responsibility. What could it be? Checking the sandwich I notice the Mushroom but say nothing so no one else knows.
