  1. The pineapples did not appreciate that. The chunks of the crushed pineapple slipped under his foot to make him slip.
  2. Hear me out... TLT should be its own sub-forum. It has more posts than Introduce Yourself, 17th Shard Discussion, The Coppermind Wiki, Arcanum Discussion, General Brandon Discussion, Events and Signings, Sanderson Fan Works, Wind and Truth Spoilers Board (Stormlight Only), Wind and Truth Spoiler Board (Cosmere Spoilers Allowed), Cosmere Q&A, Mistborn, Other Cosmere, Cytoverse, Other Non-Cosmere, The Wheel of Time, Writing Excuses and Intentionally Blank, Reading Excuses, Sanderson Curiosities and Unpublished Works, General Discussion, Entertainment Discussion, Creator's Corner, and Social Groups, Clans, and Guilds. It has ~1/3 of the posts on FGaRS, with about 1/4 of the remaining posts on FGaRS being on TLPW.

The only forums with more posts than TLT are Cosmere Discussion (No WaT), Stormlight Discussion (No WaT), FGaRS, and Roleplaying.

don't take this seriously, just thought it was funny.

But then it would not be The Longest Thread, it would be The Biggest Subforum, and that doesn't sound as cool. AND you're taking posts away from the main thread so the growth would slow down! And soon it will become The Shortest Thread! And that's not good!!!

      Immortal Platypus

it would be both! a thread could be a subforum. (also it wouldn't be the biggest. RP is 5 times longer). As for the second half of that, I have no idea what you're saying

    4. Bird Furious

      Bird Furious

That would kinda be so awesome xD

  3. A dictionary inscribed into tablets that were only mostly full.
  4. They swore back at him with curses like "Storms," "Scud," and their personal favorite, "Son of the Sands!" There was actually no continuity in the way of them coming back I appreciate it The pineapples followed him, practically bellowing their curses. The vast majority of everyone would.
  5. They came back and pelted her. Hard. TLT? Follow thermodynamics? nah.
  6. I don't care that much you guys are more active, so it matters a lot more to you. we usually had reasons for things, but they didn't have to be too well thought out. They usually were, just because that's how most of us are, but they didn't need to be. Sometimes a simple "it is what it is" would be plenty boooring Suddenly, pineapples rained down on both Bat and Tam. Because.
  7. well that's what TLT basically was, but now Glass and Haly have established dictatorial control and need reasons for things (I'm kidding (mostly)) I wouldn't say it's obvious. HtTYD is pretty fire.
  8. I think it's far funnier where you just have to have a kind of possible explanation for things, but that doesn't work as well in a plot-based time *cough cough*
  9. that's what I'm saying. there needs to be some explanation for things. (Back when I did the most, we didn't need as much of an explanation, but nowadays Glass and Haly and people like keeping things consistent ) Well, they would probably either try to kill him or lock him up like the Witherlord, and I doubt he could escape from that. The Prismite was ejected from the drone with considerable force as the drone approached the field.
  10. for some things, sure. I don't they could do that for any of the Essences. Well, as long as the right people work together, I'm confident he could be contained. It was probably a coincidence. wink wink
  11. where does it come from? Even in TLT, conservation of matter still mostly exists. so they would still have to somehow alloy whatever the alloy ends up being. In addition, if it's a fundamental substance (or even an alloy of them), it will be possible to use without Shaping. It's kind of a part of the fundamental substances that they can be used. I don't remember if that was Mordite. I don't think it was. It had a lot of similar qualities and symptoms, but I got the impression it was different. Also, in theory, you should be able to survive the same number of nicks from Mordite as something else, they just won't heal, making you more likely to succumb to blood loss. It could, however, corrupt you and make you more like a Withergeist. The note was a short read. It simply said "In the event that this goes wrong, talk to Hacob."
  12. well, that doesn't really help, cause I haven't been paying much attention to what shapers are either if I wasn't quoted or pinged in a post, I probably don't know about what's in it. and I thought time travel could only be achieved through the whole Gem? goodness I'm blind. yep. if it's to the core, it'll probably kill before it could be healed, but plenty of characters have been nicked and survived. I think Unintelligible is the most recent one. alright then. Around the back of Eof's house was a Dark area. It exuded the same feeling of profound wrongness that the Darkalloy had. In the center was a slip of paper, pinned under a chunk of Nullite.
  13. I would probably say Chaosalloy works the best here. I'm still not sure it would, but I'm more confident it would than Mordite-Luxite. you wouldn't want Chaotic Darkness. That would just be Mordite, which is not especially easy to change. simple Chaos, with a slight lean to Light (in order to make it work) would work much better. wounds inflicted with it can be healed, it just takes forever and a half. I haven't been paying attention to what the FoC is. From what I have heard, it sounds closest to watered-down Prismite. what does it do? can he see through it or anything like that? And Platypus, when he's a Luxsprite. I bet the Ennullers keep some inside the Wall. Time travel is definitely the easiest way, and that's not particularly easy As for where you get Prismite, you ask a Narrator. You duel a Narrator who doesn't have a Plotblade, they'll probably use their Narrationblade, and if you can chip that, you can have Prismite. You raid Platypus' base (not recommended), he has plenty in there. etc.
  14. It seemed to point away from the house, but through the process of triangulation, one could see that it seemed to point directly away from not something inside the house, but behind it. prismite is much easier to acquire than luxite. It's almost impossible to obtain Luxite. that's what I'm saying. There needs to be some reason they would alloy, or they wouldn't.
  15. I need you to explain how it would be possible for those to alloy. as an example, Darkalloy is able to be alloyed because it's reactants all have the "Dark" attribute. Also, (at least in this case) a reaction's output cannot be the reaction itself. if it was, it would be perpetually stable, as the reaction would perpetually happen, making more of it. It seemed to be fully flush with the wall.
  16. There was no visible lock for her to put the rock into.
  17. if my understanding of emulsifiers is correct (and I think it is), shaping could not be an emulsifier. An emulsifier is needed to cause the reaction, but once it's done, it's relatively stable (this wouldn't necessarily be the case here, it just is generally). The shaping power could not be generated from the reaction, as the reaction couldn't occur without the emulsifier. The closest thing we have to a Mordite-Luxite alloy is probably the Plotblades, as they consist of all four Essences. Personally, I don't see how it would be mechanically possible to alloy Mordite and Luxite (or Prismite and Nullite for that matter). They just don't share anything that could unite them. The other two qualities should be relatively easy to satisfy, however. See below. It was just a normal rock, so it was the shape of a dragon now. Breaking and entering would be quite difficult. It was Eof's house, after all. perhaps try your triangulation. honestly, this probably works the best of the proposals I've heard. There would need to be some sort of emulsifier, and it wouldn't be quite pure Chaos, but that would explain how it stays in existence at least temporarily. It would be kind of like how the Darkalloy is basically very watered-down Nullite (with much more Dark compared to Order), Smokite would be basically watered-down Prismite (much more Chaos compared to Light). This would satisfy requirements 1 and 2, and I don't think satisfying requirement 3 is canonically possible.
  18. Unfortunately for Rebus, Eof had been able to see the future, with a special emphasis on "had." He had given up those capabilities long ago.
  19. I think what I learned in my AP Human Geo class was that not doing your Dharma gives you bad Karma, which means your next reincarnation will be in a less prestigious body? I think that was Hinduism. I didn't pay too much attention in that class. it's very possible I'm wrong though.
  20. It continued to spin in circles, occasionally punctuated by a period where it pointed directly away from Eof's house.
  21. I'm sure you took one from someone at some point.
  22. that's... not what emulsifiers are. there needs to be something that holds the alloy together, or else they won't mix.
