  1. I love verse 13.
  2. Ok. Sounds good. The moons are gonna be wack as well. There's gonna be like 4 different phases of moons at night at one time. It'll be fun.
  3. I'm having an issue where I really like my profile, but this one's cool too.63f50e441f2c3_DALLE2023-02-2111_30.29-Amanwithajack-o-melonheadwithatrenchcoattieandawide-brimmedfedora.thumb.png.e09d59b8e7305784f3cfaa97bf9ef68c.png

    1. Cash67

      Cash67

I like both! If you want itd be fun to switch if for a day just to test it out and see if you want it permanently.

  4. I will accept this title as graciously as I can and do my best to keep the team somewhat on track. Status will be updated. This will be interesting.
  5. Heck yes! Glad to be here. I just saw the thing on Boys and only boys but not only boys or whatever it is called. I will assist in the mission statement!
  6. In light of the Come Follow Me lesson, I liked the Beatitudes. So here they are. (My family read the 3 Nephi version last night so I'm using that. It is nearly the same) (it's kinda long so I spoilered it)
  7. OH my! I stay laying on the ground and stare at the sky, acid rain eroding my pumpkin skin.
  8. Release the kraken!
  9. Oh. Looks like we aren't getting a chalk fight. I rush forward and snatch the sandwich from Nerdy, sprinting away again. I double check that it is indeed the sandwich and that I actually grabbed it. I also notice my brain mush isn't doing well, so I begin reforming it.
  10. This cannot canonically happen, as I did not even get close enough to Nerdy. So I remain standing a distance away. Waiting for the chalk fight between Nerdy and Gak.
  11. Oh my. Dumb me. I dumbly realize I forgot to grab the sandwich and smack my forehead. Must be the mushed brain. I turn back and sprint toward Nerdy. Though I also respect the chalk duel and watch from a distance.
  12. I just finished Elantris for the first time and.... It was alright I guess. Hrathen was the best part.
  13. The PEAK of Humanity? I think the peak of humanity is when we all gang together to jump at the same time on the moon to see what happens. We have to find a way to get at least 5 billion people there for a small time. Hmmm.
  14. Having successfully rebuilt myself and sneakily followed the sandwich for the past two pages, I slam into Nerdy from the side using the super speed potion I drank earlier and sprint away.
  15. Ya okay. So it would kinda be like the suns were much further from the planet and there would be one sun that the planet would orbit, though it would still be a multi-star system. Am I getting that right?
  16. Right. I didn't consider the black hole thing. There's obviously ways I could do this in a fantasy setting with the god-like magic I'm intending on adding to this world, and having a black hole would be cool, but I'd rather keep it less, chaotic. The day/night cycle would indeed be...something else. . There would be short bits of darkness, then a length of light from a pair of suns, then darkness, then light from a different pair of suns. There would have to be like two areas touched by sunlight, then a line of darkness in between...Now that I think of it that would be pretty cool. Oh boy. Well anyway, I'll prolly be using the moons because it will be less insane to try and create it, but I'm not 100% sure what I'll be doing yet. I'll go with the moons for now.
  17. I will be practicing a lot. I'll do my best with this. Only 19.99 what a steal!
  18. Ok. It's not anything world changing, but I like it. It's the basic heroes journey and it does it well. We like star wars, and most of us don't like the sequels.
  19. Ok. That's where I was slowly getting in my head. Thanks though. I was thinking maybe there would be a way. I was going to have three couples of suns and one single sun the main planet rotated be rotating the larger sun, (kinda confusing I know) but the moons will be more believable. I agree with both of you. 8 suns is too much, it would be too much work and I'm not an experienced worldbuilder or anything. That planet idea is a good idea as well, but I'm not sure I want to do a whole cosmere thing. I could though. They would all have 8 magics, but they'd be represented in a different way. Something like Sight, Touch, Scent, Thought, etc. Thanks you both for the help though. Now I must decide between planets or moons. It would be fun to have multiple planets and a cosmere like-story. Though I'm not good enough for that in-depthness yet.
  20. This is my worldbuilding project thread where I ask questions. Here's a link for my doc. (It's a bit minimal as of yet). Geyate Alright amigos, I have an issue. I'm creating a world where there are third eyes that can be gained with life-changing experiences. For example, if someone had an experience where they were nearly killed by some fantasy creatures and was absolutely terrified by it, there is a chance they gain the third eye. Though they don't gain the eye until a second event happens later. Most of these things have to happen when they are children (around the age of 8 because they understood what happened, but are young enough for it to be life-scarring.) The particular kett (what the people are called who gain the powers) for that example would be evil/horror. There are 7 well known kett and one that is unique. I was trying to figure out what way to change the world to try and connect the world to the magic. Problems Numero Uno. - Probably solved Numero Dos - Not solved I need to find an energy source for my planet. Not sure if I should do electricity to make easier or what.
  21. I enjoy stacking the odds with me. Just kidding. I can't think of anything else. Stacking blocks of course. Hmm.
