Miyako glanced up from her mountainous pile of pasta, looking in shock at Hyron. "Amazing." Nah. Do ya know where the sauce is?

Miyako grabbed a plate from the aforementioned location and began to pile pasta on it. "Oh, yes. Um, sorry but why are you here again?"

Miyako walked into the kitchen and went over to one of the chefs. "Queen and or chef, where are the plates?" Quest extended his hand to Jane before quickly pulling it back and running it through his tangled hair. "Um, hi. My name is Quest. Sorry, I'm just a bit," Quest glanced down at his burned and soiled clothes, "out of sorts."

Quest mulled over the idea. "I don't think its a matter of strength as much as control. The aether stone would certainly help but, um, it could still end poorly. If Kealie wants me to try I can but," Quest shrugged, "I can't guarantee results."

Quest perked up when Kealie rolled(?) in on her vines. "Kealie! And, um, who is she?" @Random Bystander Quest grimaced in sympathy when he noticed Kealie's legs. "I can heal broken bones but it is more, um, messy. Most of what I do is just simulate natural healing processes, so trying to fix bone can cause it to heal incorrectly and lead to complications." Miyako slid to a stop, swerving around the corner into the kitchen/food place. She looked back at Hyron, laughing as she heaved in gasps of air. @xinoehp512

Stuff: It's a little direct in terms of character emotions but I think it's alright-ish. I mostly just wrote it to began feeling out a world I was thinking about. I'll probably get to finishing it.....eventually.

"We'll see." Arcaene spun on her heels and began walking out of the cell. "Dolen, please lock up our guest."

I'm nearing 1,000 posts and with my top notch information gathering skills I know people customarily do stuff around this number.
I haven't had a lot of time for sharding lately (besides various RPs) but I still want to do something cool. What kind of stuff do people do? What would be cool?

"Do you have a limit to how much you can safety absorb and discharge?"

Arcaene raised her eyebrow. "How much control do you hold over it?"

"That's good..." Quest pulled himself up from his staff. "Anyway let's go, um, free Antin and get back to Haly."

Quest sighed. "Fire demon."

"Hmm. What can you do with it?" Miyako's face grew into a grin. "I'm not objecting...I just think you're going a little slow." Miyako broke out into a dash, laughing wildly as she sprinted down the hallway. "Wait, how did she nearly kill Kealie? Last time we fought she retreated as soon as you attacked." Quest asked in despair.

"Um, yeah?"

"No...you, you met her too? What happened?" Arcaene jumped forward, pointing at Antin. "Wait! What are you doing with the, erm, bursts of magic? Do you have other abilities?"

"Well yeah I got that part." Miyako put one hand on her hip and lifted her other hand which was holding Hyron's. "But why are we running? And holding hands?" Quest brightened. "Oh yeah! I couldn't get him back on my own, but now that you're here.." Quest began to pace excitedly. The witch pointed towards the runes. "Try to only drain the rune that is supplying the light rune with energy. In theory the light should slowly lose power as it stops being recharged." Miyako made a noncommittal mental grunt noise.

Miyako looked down at Hyron's hand in hers. "Why are we running?" "Can you selectively use your powers on certain parts of a magical effect while leaving the rest untouched?" "Yeah." Quest slumped against his staff, looking down at the ground. "She attacked us and I couldn't hold her off. She took Antin and I couldn't stop her." I don't get caught. And anyone who sees me doesn't live long enough to tell the tale.

Arcaene stepped back but watched intently as Antin touched the rune. "What happens to the energy after you consume it?"

"Ok, I'm curious." The witch bent down and began to quickly draw out a rune circle. In a moment she pushed some energy into it and light began to softly glow from it. "Dolen if you would be so kind as to unlock our guest? And Antin, dear, don't try anything with Dolen. He doesn't have any magic. He doesn't need it." Quest sighed. "The witch got Antin." Miyako rolled her eyes. "Fine. We can go grab some food and then plan." Also voice, I think a wide majority of people dislike being stolen from. Kinda the point.

Dave rested on his perch of trash, looking down at the battle. He too, knew what proper fun was. He just didn't expect to find it while fighting a goo monster. -
Miyako pointed at her head. "See, even the voice agrees with me. We should go steal stuff and find dirt on the Queen and Mariel and I dunno I'll think of more things." Arcaene snorted. "I'm not going to give my prisoner access to fire magic without a very good reason."

Arcaene quirked her head to the side. "Why?" "Well.....if we get lost on the way. Accidently. On purpose."

Miyako gasped innocently. "I would never imply that if our friend here is giving us directions to the kitchen then she could lead us to areas of more interest. Tides, Viney what are you thinking! You absolute scoundrel." @xinoehp512 "I never said I wouldn't you let you go. I simply implied that if your not useful I might need more time until I am fully compensated for my troubles." She said with a dry smile.

"I thought we agreed upon that outside. Half of a year." Arcaene paused thoughtfully. "Though now that your here, I have no pressure to let you go..." But we're like prisoners or something. Shouldn't we not be running around the castle? Miyako asked with a mischievous grin.
