  1. Quest gently pushed him back down and pushed healing magic through Antin's body. He grimaced. "There isn't a lot I can do about your broken arm but this should soothe the rest for-" A voice cut him off as the witch walked around the edge of the house, about 10 feet away. "Well, you two have proven quite the nuisance. Now that you've broken into my house and partially ruined my tome I won't have to feel to bad about brutally killing you." She spoke formally, almost disinterested as she pressed a hand against one of one of the wounds in her side.
  2. Oh hey, tis me, that Mr. Misting chap here with a totally original status update thingy.

Hmm, what's a good excuse?  Um, I read Tress? That was pretty good. *Coughs awkwardly*

So, umm.....ask me questions on my AMA.

  3. Miyako nodded sagely, barely holding back a laugh. "Mmkay, see ya later princess." Quest gasped and almost ran forward towards Antin. However, stopping the ooze that still creeped towards Antin seemed more pressing. Quest quickly scribbled an extra rune onto his paper. He had never tested anything like this but now seemed as good a time as any. Since the current vines couldn't affect the ooze, Quest need something with a little more kick. Quest touched the new rune on his sheet of paper and forced some fire magic into it. A flame raced up the vines, turning them into blacked ropes of flame. Quest commanded the vines out towards the ooze and this time they caught on, burning into the slime as they pushed through its body. Quest waited a moment until the vines burned away enough grip and then he wrenched outward, pushing each vine violently away from each other. The resulting mess was a seething splatter of vines and slime. Quest pulled his hand away from the paper rune circle as the opposing magic types consumed each other. He ran to Antin. "Antin, are you ok?" Quest asked, breathless from both the fight and general shock.
  4. HA CALANO. Someone who knows the characters thinks Hyako is better. Though I am now curious to see the opinions of someone reading our storyline... If we want a definitive answer making a random ship naming poll continues to be a hilarious option... @CalanoCorvus
  5. Dave's chain whipped back to his hand as he landed among the group, swinging in from....somewhere probably. He came out of the fall in an almost lazy flip. "Hello again I suppose." Dave began to brush off his clothes, an amused smile at the edge of his mouth. "Have you guys given your counts yet?"
  6. Quest desperately ran through his options. Antin was effectively stuck until Quest could do something, so that was a priority. The witch stood to the side, shaking her wrist and grimacing. Quest could make an active rune and try to destroy the ooze with fire magic. Then again, that would probably harm Antin. His magic would dampened the effect but it was probably not advisable. Could he perhaps separate Antin and the ooze and then try to destroy or hinder it? An idea leapt to his mind. Quest riffled through satchel while running around the side of the house. The ooze relentlessly advanced behind him. Quest grabbed a paper with a triumphant shout and began to modify the existing rune circle. He erased the passive rune and added active control and doubled checked that the growth rune would function properly. Reasonably certain this wouldn't blow up, Quest flooded the rune circle with magic. Vines rocketed from the ground, withering forward under Quest's command. As the ooze turned around the house Quest reached out with several vines towards Antin. They snaked around his arms and waist and attempted to pull him from the ooze. "Hey, Mariel! If you want to come eat with us we could probably find room." Miyako threw out with a grin. @xinoehp512
  7. Miyako smirk. "I don't know. You keep answering." Miyako began to turn but called back over her shoulder. "Can we get some food on the way?" The ooze collapsed onto Antin, consuming his form into its mass. The green blob burned against Antin's skin, and made it feel like he was trying to move through jello. The ooze slurped forward crawling towards Quest, carrying Antin inside. Quest yelped and threw an orb of fire towards the ooze. The spell fizzled against the side of the ooze, causing a small section to be blacken. It advanced with no sign of effect.
  8. Miyako grunted. "But why do you want to control people? Just cause the Queen said you should? Just cause you were 'chosen'?"
  9. Miyako glanced over at the princess. "Why are you practicing controlling people? Ain't that the Queen's job?"
  10. Dave glanced down at Obsidian and Rayvyn. "I would join your little game but my intervention would likely make it a forgone conclusion. Wouldn't want to take the fun of you mortals." Dave turned his face to the sun, basking in its warmth.
  11. The witch raised an eyebrow. "A Vacuum? Interesting." She waved a hand and a square portal appeared above Antin. A large cubic mass of ooze fell out.
  12. @The Aspiring Archivist "And your first response was to kiss me?" Miyako asked incredulous.
  13. Yeah Haly, out of everyone I would not peg you as scared of people.
  14. Ah. I've only stolen my souls through some creative writing and hollow knight. (Though is that really stealing Soul? Hmm, this requires further deliberation)
  15. What even is this conversation? Also I currently have 3 backup souls stored in a toaster in case of theft. Don't even think about it.
  16. Dave discarded his spoledy over his shoulder with a yawn. And then he got to the dirty work. And by that I mean he perched atop a pile of trash and occasionally flicked out a chain and thoroughly mutilated a kleever.
  17. Miyako ignored the urge. She had several other more pressing ones. "I, ah, sorry Viney." Miyako blinked. "Wait, no. I don't have to be sorry about anything!" Miyako jabbed Hyron with a finger. "What kind of person just kisses someone?"
  18. *Quickly searches google* Ummmm, should I have an opinion upon this? I thought the combination would be interesting and potent without picking metals like steel or pewter that get picked all the time. The idea of being able to gather an overload of information and then getting the time to process it sounded cool to me. It would also be really helpful in situations other then combat.
