I wonder if the Heavenly Ones are so honorable mainly because Leshwi is the leader... although I'm not entirely sure she is the leader, on second thought.

Leshwi intrigues me. She seems pretty awesome, for a Fused. And she was friends with an honorspren. She's old enough to remember when Honor was the singer's god, and the Coppermind says she was died then reborn as a Fused. Which implies she wasn't always a Fused. Also, Venli said "storms", which seems out of character... Anyway! So could Leshwi have been a Windrunner once? She can also hear the old rhythms, which I don't think Fused should be able to do. Am I reading too much into this? What's going on here? Anything else about Leshwi could be discussed as well.

But the amount of spren could indicate that... Maybe agonyspren are only attracted by emotional pain.

Okay, a little bit off-topic, but some spren seem redundant. Like agonyspren, painspren, and anguishspren.

Hm. This is a little necro-y... don't tell anyone. I made one with the first lines of Kaladin's PoV in WoK. So we got this internal conflict about Kaladin accepting the Shardblade... Ta-da! Beautimous.

Congratulations! I love getting people to read these books. It only took me a few quotes in an email thread, and she was very very excited. Sadly, she hasn't started it yet.

Soo, (over email) I said I had a crush on a book character. One of the people I know asked what it was from, guessed WoK(because I try really hard to get her to read it all the time). So I said yes, google Kaladin, and she found one where he's especially handsome, then she got more interested. I said, "read the ebook sample" then warned her about the prelude and prologue. She wanted to skip, so I said what they were about, she got more interested, and long story short(or I guess long story slightly less long) continued dropping quotes and telling her that Kaladin is brooding, until after I sent the quote, "Kaladin. Don't let this destroy you." "It can't. Amaram already took care of that." I got this back: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOODNESSSSSSSSSSS. BEAUTIFUL GOLLY I HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN TO YOU BEFORE???? YOU WHO IS SO WISE IN THE WAY OF BOOKS. I BOW BEFORE YOU, YOUR HUMBLE SERVANT. So, it's safe to say I HAVE CORRUPTED ANOTHER! mwahahaha

Congratulations! I don't think I saw that coming. Then again, I'm awful at noticing foreshadowing on the first read, even when it's insanely obvious.

It's mostly all in the title. If Kaladin somehow went brain dead, would Shai(if she somehow was on Roshar) be able to recreate his soul? I mean (Emperor's Soul) He hides a lot of his trauma, and puts on a front of "I'm doing fine!". The question is how well does he hide it... Also, I don't know if any one person knows all of his experiences.

Kaladin's "He'd stopped noticing dirt months ago" feels kinda like me at camp. Just a little...

I have a bunch of scenes in SA that I think would be so fun to see fanart of(either that I haven't seen or didn't really fit my image): Kaladin's Third Ideal--not after he says it but before. Because after, when he's healed, he's powerful and terrifying, but it's beforehand, when he's fatally injured and stands up anyway, is what's awesome about that scene, in my opinion. Starting to see a pattern? Yeah. I like Kaladin. He has a lot of epic/emotional scenes. Anyway, what are y'all's arts you want to see? I've sorta tried drawing basically all of them, but I'm not good at drawing scenes, sadly. (and maybe we could get someone to make it...(wink wink nudge nudge)}

I know! One thing I've wondered: If necessary, could she make Kaladin's soul off of what she got from his friends/family? 'Cause he hides a lot, and I don't know if there's any one person who knows everything he went through.

Probably Rhythm of War. After Stormlight... I don't know, maybe Emperor's Soul. I just really think the insight on people in that one is fascinating.

YKYASFW you release an evil laugh when someone sends you an email asking for book recommendations. YKYASFW you run Cross Country and sometimes say the Ideals, and you say them often enough that your running buddy(who has not read Stormlight) says "journey before destination" when you say "strength before weakness". Totally hypothetical, of course.
