  1. Theory: Brandon was tired of people shipping Kaladin and Jasnah. So he made Wit and Jasnah a thing, just to spite all the shippers.

Wait Kaladnah was a thing? I thought it was all Syladin or Shalladin shippers.

Oh, it's totally a thing. Google Kaladin and Jasnah, or Jasnadin or Jasnahdin.

  2. Kaladin: Body of a young man, soul and personality of an old man Syl: Body(?) of an old woman(/spren), soul and personality of a little girl
  3. Are you defining him by his characteristic as an addict? How dare you! Just kidding, I laughed really hard at this.
  4. You cannot deny my privilege of disliking [Coronel Brandon] as much as I simply adore... ...this cottage. Disclaimer: I like Colonel Brandon.
  5. It's very simple. Shallan dies, becomes a Cognitive Shadow, and joins/goes up against Thaidakar throughout the Cosmere. I mostly get this idea from the fact that someone dies in 5, and the quote: And that's after she finds the maps with the Cosmere worlds on it. So there you go!
  6. Sadeas: on the outside: ugly fashion model. On the inside: uglier murder model Sazed: Spock, but better
  7. *holds microphone uncertainly out to the tear in the air* Well Mallow! Who is your Radiant, and what drew you to them?
  8. You can indeed make up a character, Brightlord Sil!
  9. I just don't want to reveal too much on the Internet where anyone who wants to can see it, even non-Sharders. Because before I was trying not to use pronouns. Which is hard. So I just gave Interviewer a random gender, which I may or may not be. *Stormy holds out his microphone to Ivory, which he can do now that a gender has been decided* "If you had to pick anyone other than your Radiant to bond, who would it be?"
  10. *Stormy covers his** terror* "Okay! Glad to have you!" *edges away slowly* "Why did you pick Ado--oh wait, sorry, Um... what traits about Adolin do you like?" **Stormy the Interviewer, is a guy. Whether or not Stormy/Pencil Taxi the 17th Shard member(aka me) is... remains to be seen.
  11. *Stormy nods, amused* "Ah, see, you dodged the true, deeper meaning of my question. How do you feel about Wit... and Jasnah?"
  12. *Stormy goes red as realization hits that Ivory was on the other shoulder, and the mistake is corrected* *evil grin into the microphone* "How do you feel about Wit?"
  13. *Stormy holds microphone to self* Why did you pick Queen Jasnah Kholin of Alethkar? What drew you to her? *tries to hold microphone out to Ivory, who is sitting on Jasnah's shoulder. Sadly, he is somewhat hidden behind Jasnah's hair, and so Stormy holds it out to the wrong shoulder*
  14. Pick a Radiant Spren! I will(unless someone else REALLY wants to) interview you. I'm not sure this fits in role-playing, but whatever. For example: Interviewer puts microphone to self. "Why did you pick the Radiant you did? What drew you to her?" Interviewer puts microphone to Timbre, who pulses to the Rhythm of Indifference. "Well, first I chose her sister because of her thirst to see what's beyond the next hill, but then she died, so well, then there was Venli, who was... fine."
  15. I KNOW! BROM'S SMOKE RINGS! AND ERAGON AND ARYA! HOW... Ahem. I recently watched Warm Bodies... with Clearplay, and I kinda loved it, even though I'm not a huge fan of scary/zombie movies.
  16. I notice other Sharders using nicknames for each other...

Despite being not a very well-known member, I kinda want one, but I haven't thought of one.

    Any ideas?

I am 100% going to call you that from now on. We'll confuse all the new Sharders :D

    4. The Wandering Wizard

      The Wandering Wizard

I got called Wizard or Wiz and that has just stuck. Hello Brightlord Sil and Pencil Taxi!

  17. Or Kaladin going completely off-the-charts TERRIFYING: Would NOT want to face that. Of course, I wouldn't really want to face Kaladin ever. Or, alternatively, you could do something not related to Kaladin, but that would be completely insane. Such as: Shallan staring into the highstorm on the balcony in WoR Dalinar leaping a chasm in his Shardplate You. Cannot. Have. My. SACRIFICE! We! CHOSE!
  18. Reading between the lines... the WoB mentioned there talks about fantasy TV shows, which is what he's always said he wants to do Stormlight as... so I don't know.
  19. He's like, I can't announce anything yet... I don't have any info for you... wink wink
  20. Or that part in chapter 70 where he barely escaped drowning in the well, and he's so exhausted he blacks out/falls unconcious while dangling from his hand. That sounds kinda weird to want fanart of that, but it would be an interesting picture.
  21. Well, he could, but I don't think it'd be to his advantage. I mean, he's an old man. When you realized, did you sit up straight and exclaim "Merciful Domi!"?
  22. When you find this app name hilarious: https://nfnlabs.in/storm-it
  23. Well, in that case*, one could, maybe say that Kaladin acts as a warrior in Rhythm of War. *For some reason, using this phrase might make this feel sarcastic or taunting. It's not supposed to be.
  24. Dalinar says it multiple times: Kaladin's not a warrior, he's a soldier. What exactly does he mean by this? Kaladin is definitely a good fighter. So what does Dalinar mean by this? Also, the most recent repeat of this idea is after Navani says "And I doubt anyone the enemy presents can best Stormblessed." To which Dalinar says he's not picking Kaladin. Navani says, "Why not? He's our best warrior." Navani has joined the Kaladin Is Unbeatable Club, accompanied by all of Bridge Four, Dalinar, Vyre, Venli, Leshwi, and all of the citizens of Urithiru. Dalinar says "no he's our best soldier." What is the difference? I don't understand...?
  25. It might not change his story... but it would be fun. (like how stereotypically, grandmas always give candy and say "you've grown a foot!" and it would be fun if Kaladin had stereotypical grandparents. I sort of... kind of... wrote a fan fiction about it?) [insert quote about Kaladin becoming Odium's Champion here, it didn't work for some reason] I don't know if he would have been. I mean, was he ever on that path? It seems like all that Wit saved him from by talking to him in that nightmare was just giving up and "lying down and dying", not necessarily becoming Odium's Champion. I'm not sure though.
