  1. Okay. I bestow upon thee the title of “Flirtation Avoidance Philosopher”.
  2. I honestly don’t even know what flirting is. Sorry I can’t help.
  3. I made an SU with this in it, but I was redirected here, so here’s something on my mind. It‘s sad, actually. These people are all children of God, and they all have such great potential. Even if you do not believe in God, you can agree that other people are human beings. That's part of why I hate being angry and annoyed. These people have the potential to do wonderful things, and though we may see things differently, think differently, or act differently, I really don't see a reason to be angry. Why are we so mean to others? Being mad with a set of people as a category that is out of their control doesn't make sense. Or simply dubbing people "annoying", and not even attempting to look beyond that. We can all change, and in my experience, people will ten to mimic what is given. I had a conversation with my mom recently. She asked me, "Why does everyone think that teenagers love obnoxious things and mediocrity?" I'm pretty sure the answer to that question is that it is what we are given. Sure, we may tend to enjoy crude things, but when that becomes entirely what is fed to us all of the time? As Pi states in Life of Pi by Yann Martel, "A person can get used to anything, even to killing." And though obviously that is more dramatic, it truly does show how things are. Other people, no matter if you fundamentally disagree with them on many, things that are very important to you, are still humans. It is not okay to vilify certain categories of people, simply on common shared traits or disagreements with you. Would you not rather be happy instead of in a constant state of anger? And can you not imagine that other people want to be happy also? I feel that some problems that we see today are based off of people saying that we should come together, but nobody wanting to give anything up. We all say, "We should come together and be better as a people." But the thing is that we disagree on how that should be done. But, if we come to see others as more human beings, and look at their viewpoints beyond simply decrying them as "evil", or "obnoxious", I think that we would be able to love them more, despite our disputes or disagreements that were hitherto points of contention. Can we please rise above simply hurling insults at the other people, and saying everything is their fault? People are dying. Mental health disorders are on the rise. All sorts of problems are increasing. And yet we yell at each other still. Please, let's try a little harder to give up petty grievances and do better as a people. I think, if we all try to do better, people will see that and follow our examples, even if it's simply subconscious mimicry. Thanks.
  4. I'm going to try to speak less often from now on and make sure that everything I say is not stupid.

I've said a lot of dumb things today.

I hope I didn't break any rules or offend anyone by writing this

    Thank you all,

You should post this in the Finding Common Ground Thread.

      I think I’ll do that.

I feel this too. Something has to change in the way we live, the way we are, and yet it’s impossible to control anyone except ourselves, and sometimes even that feels like a stretch.

      Thank you.

  5. But... but... Why do we always have to be the lame, stupid ones?
  6. I have spoken with them already. The Rabbit Overlords have decreed that, as they have found our cause just, we may have as many of their most dubious subjects as we require in order to cause the best propaganda and destruction possible.
  7. YES YES DUBIOUSNESS AND DESTRUCTION The rabbit overlords are most pleased by this.
  8. Yes, because bunnies are immune to dynamite, so they can work together for optimal propaganda.
  9. True, but funerals are kind of sad. Bunnies make people happy. At least, when the rabbits aren't eating people.
  10. Rabbits, probably. That's my vote.
  11. Okay, what propaganda shall we spread?
  12. It must be fun to come up with propaganda to spread and try to make it as convincing as possible.
  13. YAY And we also get to have absurd amounts of propaganda launched at us at all times. YAY!
  14. I think that he can become better, however, I also think that nobody really wants to see that. We're all pretty mad at him. Either way he has to answer for his crimes and attempted crimes, meaning that any redemption would likely lead to him being outcast from everyone else, if not outright executed. You can't just kill Teft and then go "Hehe I'm good again!" So I think that if he does get redeemed, he'll either die very soon after, or live as some sort of hermit.
  15. So, I'm actually very cliche.

One of these days I fully expect to go on a generic "society bad" rant on accident.
I'm the generic antisocial person from lower quality books.
I'm even generic in the things that make me not generic, and it fits in with the generic "antisocial" person qualities. (Ex. I'm a little too engaged in the two hobbies I have)

You know what, that really doesn't make any sense. I think maybe I would write something depressing, but honestly, I'm like this all the time, and it seems like that's all you guys ever see of me, so I won't bug you.

I actually am working on that music list I mentioned before, by the way. It's coming along, but it's taking a while. I'll get it all organized eventually. You guys are probably going to be disappointed by my music choices.

And, finally, I have an orchestra concert today. It's just the normal school orchestra, so it's nothing special, but I suppose concerts are noteworthy events, so I thought I'd just mention it.

Anyway, have a good day, humans!

      Potato's Wit

You don't bug us! You can tell us when you feel sad and/or need hugs! Also, you are not generic! You are much too interesting to be generic! Generic does not exist! (Seriously, everyone is different, therefore genericness cannot exist.)  Why am I using so many exclamation marks! (?)

Honestly, I agree with potato's wit, no one is generic, and even if you do seem to fit descriptions of 'cliche' book characters, there's nothing wrong with that. Enjoy what you enjoy, don't feel like you shouldn't because it seems uninteresting or boring.

Also I'm sure your music choices won't be bad, especially considering the random, weird stuff I listen too.

good luck on your concert!!!  ^_^

you are the least cliche person I know. this post does not exist to me.

  16. I think that the entire series is kind of dumb. I can understand why people like it, though, I suppose. And it's a lot of fun to mock. why do i read these... I'm not caught up with the series but I'll probably get there. Eventually. When I can find the mental stamina.
  17. I would kill them by giving them to rabbits. Yes, kill the food.
  18. My rabbits were killed by a large bird. One of them was actually attacked, the other one died of a fear-induced heart attack. He had no bodily harm done to him at all. He just... died. And the other was partially eaten. I couldn't bare to look at the corpses. We have different rabbits now. And I love them too. But some days I really miss those bunnies. Especially the one that died of a heart attack. I was his favorite human and even on rough days I could come home and he'd be waiting for me. I'd pet him and he'd give me the bunny version of petting in return. It was really sweet. I miss him. I don't really have that sort of bond anymore.
  19. Pov: All your friends are in the honor roll celebration thingy for your school right now but you showed up to late and don't know what to do or where to go so you're just sitting in the commons of your school all by yourself feeling kind of lonely and hoping people don't think you're stupid.

You're also just hoping you can survive the day.

This week has been a rough one, humans. It seems like every time it seems like it's finally out of rocks to throw at me it finds a boulder. And more smaller rocks as well.

I hope things get better, I can totally relate. The only reason I go to my schools honor parties is because they give me food ^_^

  20. Okay guys. I need ideas now.

How do I avoid going to a stake dance? Thankfully it’s not for a week or so, but that means I need to get planning.

  21. "Stealing a person is not the same as kidnapping, right?" - @Ranryu "Yes, if they're already dead." - Some other guy
  22. I have a new thing for you guys now. I'm not super happy with it, and the expectations really do not match reality, but here it is. I think I'm far too willing to share everything I write. Some things are better left unsaid. And, some things have to be just practice, right?
