    So, guys, I'm contemplating a name change. Should I be "JustSomeCellist" instead of "That1Cellist"?

    Or, I guess if there are any other good cello related names you can think of, you could suggest those. Also, if I decide not to change my name, I'll probably change my pfp soon. I thought I should prepare you guys, since I've had this one for quite some time.

    I think that power is too broad a term which is subject to much interpretation. What sort of power? Political power? Influence over others? Intelligence is also a kind of power. The amount of power a person has also depends on what time period we're looking at. For example, a Mistborn in era one is comparatively much less powerful than one would be in era two (in some ways, not in just raw strength unless they're a Lerasium Mistborn) because of the fact that there are almost no Mistborn in era two, and there is a lot more technology that can be utilized by having the abilities of metallic arts. I would encourage you to make that a more specific term. Also, if it's just in amounts of raw investiture, I would argue that a fourth ideal radiant is probably higher than a four. Radiants use a lot of investiture, even if it isn't that much compared, to say, a Shard. Maybe also include what a 1 would be on this scale? Like, measure it in sand or something. (If only we could do that) @Frustration has a firepower index that might be very useful if you're looking at and investigating this sort of thing.

    You know, as a young guy myself, I have a really hard time with this. Because I understand how you humans are feeling. I see it every day. I feel it. And it hurts. Why can't we be better? It's challenging to be part of a group that a lot of people seem to write off as idiots. I know that most of them are better than that. Better than how they act. But... Anyway, it's very confusing to me. I'm not quite saying this right. But I understand what you humans are saying.

    Yes. It does make sense, and I agree. I love your assertion that as your mental age increases, so does your level sadness. It really does feel too true. If life is a journey, experiences are for while you walk it, not when you've traversed and investigated every crevice. To move a direction is to learn, and part of a journey is learning and growing more. Obviously, we should make sure that we are responsible before making long term, important decisions, but I do feel like we should make decisions before the end of the adventure. Additionally, I believe that having a companion can help us greatly to improve and become much more than we could have become otherwise.

      mostly, I just want to ditto what Thaid said. Life is hard, but you are not inadequate. I know how you feel, I really do, I feel that way sometimes too. But its wrong, completely wrong. 

      People in your life love and care about you I promise, even me, a random person on the internet. I don't know you very well, but I do know you're a wonderful person. The little voice inside telling you otherwise is wrong.

    So, if any of you humans on this site follow other humans on this site, you may have noticed that, especially recently, there have been, many, many SU's. While I was super inactive over summer, I would check in every couple of days and I'd have like 30 notifications at a time. In my opinion, that number is a little absurd, especially considering it seems that there are a lot of fairly pointless SU's that devalue and make it harder to notice when people actually have something quite important to say. As a potential solution, I introduce you to this thread! Whenever you post an SU, think if, perhaps, it could go here instead of elsewhere. That way, people can still see the things you want to talk about and discuss, but then the things of higher importance can be regulated to SU's. Unless this somehow violates the rules, welcome to The Thread For Things That Could Be Status Updates!

    Oh wow who are all you people? It's been waaay to long since I posted. I too am a spambot vanquisher, though my activity in this field has been reduced as of late. Hopefully I will return to these ranks before too long. There are many, many bots in this world. Them and their ilk will not stand before our mighty alliance! Methinks we need a motto. Any suggestions? I like: "Lots of bots we'll turn to spots."
