  1. What is going on here? We aren't cats. Oh no... unless...
  2. I'm not, but only because I haven't thought about it. TPBM is trying to develop alternate personalities for themselves to make socializing easier.
  3. Good! It really depends on how you do it, but homeschooling can be an amazing thing if you get a curriculum you like and actually get your stuff done. Why are they considering this? I'm curious, if you feel like sharing.
  4. YES! I love swords. That's a really cool story. I've been homeschooled nearly my entire life, but I'm currently going to a public school. It's nasty, but I have to gain social skills as some point, right? I mean, there are other reasons too, but that's a big one.
  5. Thanks for sharing, Calano! It's a nice idea, and I like your writing style.
  6. Okay, I haven't been here for a while. Here's a new thing I stayed up way too late last night writing. Ranryu's villanelle inspired me and I thought I'd give one a try. I call this one "Fear". Bleak future's angry strides are long and slow His stealthy steps are not of love or ire Cry silent tears, time fades like melting snow Forsake these barren lands of ceaseless woe They offer naught for which you can aspire Bleak future's angry strides are long and slow Racing down dead end passageways I go Though my oppressors feet will never tire Cry silent tears, time fades like melting snow The steps are near, their coming I did know Yet willingly I built myself this pyre Bleak future's angry strides are long and slow I spy the future's empty face below It's hands reach out to end my only fire Cry silent tears, time fades like melting snow The hands grab flesh and strangle lifeblood flow Their grasp holds 'till vitality expire Bleak future's angry strides are long and slow Cry silent tears, time fades like melting snow.
  7. This is a thread to discuss your happy memories! Recalling the good things that happened to you can not only help you feel better, but maybe help you lift someone else's spirits on a rough day. Here's mine: I remember that my dad and I used to play a game of chess with our Star Wars chess set every Sunday. He won all the time for a while, but then I started winning almost every game. Looking back, he was definitely letting me win on purpose, but it was wonderful to spend time playing games with my dad, and winning a game of chess every week helped me to feel more confident about myself. We also had a game of little football figures we'd play football with sometimes, and then occasionally we'd play Uno as a family. I'm not sure why we stopped. Maybe I got too old or we just got out of the habit. Anyway, that's a happy memory of mine. So, what are some of the happy memories that you humans have? Whether they be small things or large experiences, this is your place to share them.
  8. I am completely and utterly fine nothing is wrong at all and I feel very happy.

I'm all out of words though. I can't speak anymore.

    I'm confused.

Anyway, I remembered recently how terrified I was of the movie Up when I was smaller. I had so many nightmares about the bird, the dogs, my house flying away on balloons, the airship tilting all over the place, and especially Mr. Fredrickson yelling at the construction worker. I was also scared of the beginning when they go into that old building all by themselves or something. That movie traumatized me.

I didn't overthink it, I was just scared of everything. In general, actually, but some things in that movie scared me terribly.

    3. Mags

      Mags

for me, as a kid extremely emotional movies were more traumatizing then violent ones, and Up has a lot of emotional stuff in it, so I can totally understand

It's been years since I've seen that movie though, maybe I would like it better now

      S. Stormy

The lion in Mulan creeping up on the emperor, and then the bad guys jumping out terrified me as a child. And the scene in Tangled where the cave is filling up with water... I think I refused to watch both of those movies just because of those scenes.

  9. Hollow Knight Shadows for Silence in the Forest of Hell Sixth of the Dusk
  10. *hugs* I'm sorry Bookwyrm. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. Mistakes happen, but luckily for you other people also make mistakes. We understand.
  11. Happy birthday!

  12. I'm here everyone! We're so refined, aren't we? The coppermind says so. Hmmm what do we edgedancers think of music? What kinds? I know what I think, but I'm curious what music you all like.
  13. Hi! Nice to meet you too! Do you play an instrument?
  14. Hello! It's always nice to see a fellow Hollow Knight fan. Do you play an instrument? Also, are you excited for anything about Silksong in particular?
  15. Now that's difficult. What exactly do you mean by favorite dragon? Favorite dragon in particular? Favorite dragon grouping? Favorite combination of dragon traits? What is it you're looking for here?
  16. I love the third one. Thank you a lot. They're all really good! How are you feeling?
  17. It sounds like you've done a lot more grinding than myself. I had Celes extremely strong and the other people basically just supported her. It was enough to win because Ultima is broken. But yeah, when I play through again I think I'll get the sword and see how that changes things.
  18. I don't even remember. It was not good. My mother insists she isn't afraid of cockroaches and then freaks out whenever she sees them and refuses to go anywhere near them. It's amusing. Personally, I find them unnerving and disgusting. I don't like going near them but I definitely don't have the same sort of aversion to them that some people have.
  19. I once found one in my dishwasher. They were living in there and we had to hand wash dishes for a while until they left or died due to lack of water. It was a long while.
  20. Okay, most hyped is hard for me, but here are the things I'm looking forward too. Hollow Knight: Silksong. The original might just be my favorite game I've ever played, and I can't wait to get more lore for Hollow Knight. Additionally, the soundtrack samples that are out are fantastic, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the OST. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Breath of the Wild is probably my other candidate for favorite game ever (though the title for most nostalgia goes either to Mario Kart Wii or Super Mario Galaxy 2) Breath of the Wild is a gorgeous game and I can't wait to get more of it and hopefully some explanations for the strange things in Breath of the Wild that weren't explained. Oh, also secret projects and Stormlight 5. I can't wait for those either.
  21. Hey, @StormingTexan. Sorry I didn't see. I would say go for the esper as opposed to the sword, though I assume you've already made a decision on that. Yeah, Gogo is cool until you heal bosses with the stupid healing rod because you used a normal attack with somebody unthinkingly. I've done that way too many times.
  22. No...... not dabbing. I thought we killed that years ago....
  23. I don't think we have enough information to really know what's going on with that. Thank you for bringing this up though, as it's something I hadn't thought about. I would lean towards the kandra being just less resistant to Harmony's influence in general as an answer to this. I would like to point out that whatever kind of spiritweb kandra have was certainly very messed up at that point in Bleeder. That would open her up to Harmony's influence. Additionally, Harmony knows where she is in that moment, which would probably make it easier for him to try and take over.
