Certified Gay Disasters
NerdyAarakocra replied to Delightful's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
About 8 years ago, back when I still identified as male, I decided to grow my hair out because I like long hair, which confused classmates, teachers, waiters in restaurants, and pretty much everyone else. About a year ago, I came out as nonbinary. Now when someone asks me if I'm a boy or girl, I look them in the eye for a long beat and say "Actually, neither." BEST. FEELING. EVER. -
Wow! That's exactly how I imagine her! Thank you so much!

Il'anque rushed over to where Avi was wrapping her wound. "Here, I can get that for you." she said. Il'anque reached into the currents of power around her and redirected a little. She gave it a purpose: Heal. The cut on Avi's arm closed.

Hi! Could you please try to draw Il'anque? Everything should be in her character bio. Thanks!

As Isek's chain slammed into the Denkthen, Il'anque jumped off and landed gracefully on Isek's platform. She raised her sword in salute, and brought it down to end the monster. You fought well, thought Il'anque in farewell. @The Bookwyrm

KanDraa, SeKaan's safehouse, the Bindpoint KanDraa sat down in the safehouse. The other Kandra wanted to know Kan's story. Well, Kan supposed that they didn't have a choice. It was time to talk. "The first thing I remember is pain. I slowly became aware of the world around me, with the blurry vision of a newborn kandra. I saw people in cloaks leaning over me with hammers and spikes. When they saw me move, they stuck one more spike into me and something changed." "They locked me into a cage from which I could not escape. I don't know exactly how it worked, but I was trapped. The researchers removed my spikes and replaced them. They devised tests and forced me to follow. I wanted more than anything to go. But I could not." "About a week ago, something changed. The fabrics of this world unraveled and rewove, and I was able to leave. Now I'm here in your safehouse, hoping to lie low." "I don't know who the people that made me are. But I do know of their organization: The Dark Alley." @Voidus @AonEne

The Denkthen's crystal body cracked. It was wounded, yes. But it could still put up a fight. It launched some of its spines at Avi in retaliation, then struck at Il'anque with a vicious claw. Il'anque took a glancing blow, and drove her other scimitar in the cracked spot. @Frustration

Quick Fix 64: Spies in Starsight
NerdyAarakocra replied to Szeth Pancakes's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The thing is, I DON'T KNOW how to read people. When someone does something suspicious, I E! read them, but I can't keep an active watch for 24hrs to see what people are doing! Any read that I post is probably wrong and could hurt the village, so I evaluate other people's evidence and add some of my own. In addition, I don't change my reads that much. What I should have done with Xino was wait for him to die from inactivity and voted for my other suspicions. If I'm Elim, (which I'm not), then Kas voting with me on Xino makes him look incredibly sus, doesn't it? But if Kas is village, than am I suspicious for going with Kas? Just throwing that out there.- 993 replies

Il'anque raised an eyebrow at Isek's statement, but that platform looked useful. Then again... Il'anque grabbed one of the spikes as the creature pulled out of the wall. It was large, and looked mole-like. A Denkthen, thought Il'anque. They could shoot the crystal shards on their back with deadly precision. They could also climb on vertical surfaces without any trouble. It looked like Il'anque would have to get creative. Il'anque grew a vine around the monster's chest and grabbed one of the ends. This would help her stay on. She then grabbed one of her scimitars - the poison on it wouldn't kill this, but it might slow it down - and stabbed it into one of the gaps in the Denkthen's armor. @The Bookwyrm

Quick Fix 64: Spies in Starsight

Aman's reaction actually made me more suspicious. I understand why he did that now, as I'm doing the same thing, but it felt a lot more like a guilt trip than I would expect from V! Aman.- 993 replies

Bookwyrm = not very suspicious. I have a high V! read for him. TUN = a little suspicious, but not very. Still a V! read, but a more moderate one. I'm unsure of Almond.- 993 replies

607. When everything is looking up and you actually have a plan, don't let your guard down. That's when you start loosing.

Il'anque continued climbing. This cliff looked easy to climb, with plenty of amethyst jutting out from the rock face. It should be trivial to reach the third layer. But what was that glint that she saw out of the corner of her eye? It looked like something in the rock face had shifted. Probably just a trick of the light. Il'anque was midway up the slope when one of the crystals moved.
