  1. My dog, Chewy. He is the sweetest and cutest thing in the world. I am right. No one can tell me otherwise. What’s your favorite philosophical mindset? (As in, utilitarianism, deontology, etc.)
  2. The thing that really confused me was how to spell Sicilian. Funnily enough, I can spell things like Nimzowitsch, but not that. It’s probably because I learned the Sicilian at a young age and couldn’t spell it then, and then just never realized how.
  3. Shallan isn't a good person for the way she treats others. She's downright rude to a lot of people who only mean well. When's the last time she's said something not trying to be witty? I understand that it might be her defense mechanism, but that doesn't mean that it's okay to mistreat others. I just despise her, ever since I started reading the series.
  4. True… but most people don’t like my jokes so- TPBM likes fog!
  5. I'm not sure what to do! Shallan and Wit both just came to my door! Interesting but slightly bland.
  6. Thanks for the follow! :)

      Likewise. :D

  7. A small, stolen moment, when the world takes a breath and holds it. The tiniest sliver of light, illuminating a mirror. A small glass bottle, carefully preserving all that it holds. A minuscule blanket, not enough cover for a chilling storm. A forgotten toy, left under a bed to collect dust until it's gone. A foggy morning, where a soft, golden glow illuminates dew on damp grass. An endless storm, forever unyielding and yet letting all in. The lightest of touches on the ebony keys of life. A glance, with lips curving up and shining eyes.
  8. @Cinnamon I have not really had an interaction with you yet (seeing as i've been away from the Shard), but I've seen you post a lot, and since you are Shardbuddies with both Shining Silhouette and The Wandering Wizard you simply must be a good person! Also, I like cinnamon.
  9. 524. A body must be burned to ash, maimed, completely destroyed, decapitated, or stabbed repeatedly before it is actually dead. When you see someone seemingly without a pulse, they are still alive. 525. Unless you see someone VERY CLEARLY die VERY OBVIOUSLY, they are STILL ALIVE.
  10. @Elf I see that you have read Song of Achilles. Circe is also by the same author, and when I read it I was really impressed. So impressed I was Circe for Halloween. You should read it-
  11. I love chess! I was... really good at one point, then I stopped playing for a couple years. That's where I am now... I never knew how en passant was spelled. Huh.
  12. Is this Jasnah and Wit? Are you a Jasnahoid Shipper?
  13. Sarian blinked, as if coming out from a daze. Bad memories had popped up. "Hi. Sorry I... zoned out." She looked at the newcomer. "Ah, I didn't catch your name? Mine's Sarian."
  14. Wow, 11 hours. I'm impressed.
  15. Kiss mind, marry soul, kill body. Whiteboard, chalkboard, skateboard.
  16. Sarian spun around. "What's going on?" She ran to the door. "Who are you? What do you want?" She stared at the mysterious (and slightly intimidating) figure. Somehow she knew that she was out of her league. @EmulatonStromenkiin
  17. I was waiting for an, "Sorry, I'll join... later."
  18. Hi, sorry I was away for a bit. I've had a lot of homework and just work these past couple of days.
  19. “Hm. I don’t think so. But thank you so much! I was wondering—and I’d pay you, of course—if you could teach me some things? I don’t know… it’s up to you, but I think this is all really interesting-“
  20. Hoid devoured 798 tasty souls for Thursday lunch. However, Hoid, who had formerly formulated a terrifying plan to eventually become Adonalsium, decided to devour pine-oranges v2.0 of pineapples; this made Hoid a supremely painful deity of waffles, chortles, and power; Fortunately, Jasnah decided to marry Hoid, instead of telling Kelsier YES to an awkward arrangement of marriage which
