  1. Chouta eating was interrupted, however, not the end of the sentence.
  2. @xinoehp512 @Nameless*
  3. "Nope, just me."
  4. Worldseer made his way to the small village near the border of Nexus, Southshire. There was already a fair clump of players there, gathering equipment and supplies for whatever random quests they'd accepted. He found his way to the smithy and noted three other players talking to the Mastersmith. He awkwardly walked up to them. "Uh, hello," he said. "I think I've accepted the same quest as you all."
  5. And the world around it.
  6. Rym frowned. "How are we supposed to do that without Narration?" "Also, there's a little caterpillar here."
  7. Okay, due to a conflict with the delay, I will actually not be able to take part in this. Which is unfortunate, because it looked very interesting. I'm out of town for the whole week after the game starts, and while I may end up being able to check in sporadically, it would not be enough to participate in the game by. @Ashbringer, for now, put me down as spectating. I don't think I'd be able to pinch-hit well in a complicated game like this...
  8. OH NO IS IT TURNING INTO AN RP
  9. Rym barely managed to dodge a falling pineapple. "Okay, who did that?"
  10. Rym frowned. "That's really difficult to do. You know that Narrators can...oh. Unless another Narrator is actively upholding that immunity...interesting." He turned to gaze across the landscape. "Anywhere interesting I should visit first?"
  11. Worldseer - Might as well think of myself by my username in here - found his menu tome in his satchel and pulled it out. He flipped through it, noting changes from the update, and familiarizing himself with the layout. Most of it was the same. He also took note of a few areas of the tome that he was unable to read at that point. So there is progress to be made... He found the quest roster and looked at the day's public quests. It was a good place to start as any. He was really looking forward to the long-winding Private Quests, the ones that nicely illustrated the world and actually had story, but...you had to start somewhere. He noticed that one of the interesting looking quests already had a few names logged on next to it; something about finding a special ore for a smith in a nearby town. Pyrophile232, Deeno_The_Fourth, and TuringRose. Time to make some friends, I suppose. He selected the quest, then noted the magical beacon that had appeared in the corner of his vision. He slid his tome back into his satchel and started walking to find these other three players. @Channelknight Fadran @PyroPhile @The Aspiring Archivist
  12. Ack! Pyro! How was I not following you until now?!

  13. Darrin sighed as he looked at the limited options for character creation. Elf Sorcerer it is, he sighed. I'll have time to make it unique and un-cliche-y later. He was pleased to find that no one had taken the username yet. He completed character creation and logged on. He momentarily adjusted to the new world that suddenly sprang into existence around him. The Nexus. A beautiful, if somewhat standard, fantasy city. And here he was, conveniently in the middle, where seemingly thousands of players were running around, accepting quests and doing whatever it was they were doing. He started walking towards the main quest roster, looking for something to do. Most annoying thing about this game is the lack of a proper storyline. I always have trouble in these choose-your-own-path things in the beginning...
  14. With the two after me (ages 14 and 11), a lot more of a sibling relationship. We're good friends and joke and goof off together a lot. The third after me (age 9)...we do not get along very well. So basically a lot more of a sibling relationship. With the two youngest, which are 5 and 3, I feel it does resemble a parental role, but not exactly. It's still a sibling relationship, it's just very skewed, because they're so much younger.
  15. Also, go get your name sent on a trip to another world.

    https://europa.nasa.gov/message-in-a-bottle/sign-on/

Do this every time you have a chance.

Litter the universe with copies of your name.

I can proudly say that my name has gone around the Moon.

    And,

    if you do this,

you can proudly say that your name has gone around the moon of another planet.
