  1. A Distant Forest World The search had taken quite a while. Bookwyrm stood with Insa in a lush forest, gazing down at the ruins of a temple that were built in a large crater in the forest floor. The huge trees surrounding them spread high and far enough that, though no trees were in the crater itself, the entire area was still shaded. Golden sunlight filtered through the green canopy in a few spots, giving the entire area a warm, living aura. The chirps of distant birds and other creatures brought the forest to life. Bookwyrm stood in his travelling gear; a sturdy blue tunic with a chain-mail shirt underneath, simple trousers and boots, gloves and simple gauntlets, and a deep blue cloak with a subtle starscape design. He smiled as he looked down at the ruin. The temple was connected to the old Worldseers that had populated the Clinic's multiverse in some era long past. Though Bookwyrm was a Worldseer himself, the sect of the Clinic's multiverse had shifted themselves onto another path, branching off from what Bookwyrm knew. They'd created the Archives, some of which had been previously discovered and utilized in the Kaotic Wars. This temple itself wasn't an Archive, but likely held clues to the whereabouts of at least one. It would also serve as the prison for a manipulative god. "Well," he said to Insa, "I think we finally found it." @InfiniteInsanity
  2. Me who listed the ages of all his siblings in an SU response the other day
  3. Calev started to say something, then realized that nothing he said would likely help. He's too stuck in this...and I don't know how to get him out. He sat silently.
  4. Calev sat down next to Elan, the snow crunching beneath him. "Why?"
  5. Calev met his eyes. "Tell me, honestly, that that's what you need, and I'll do it."
  6. "I lost my family," he said simply.
  7. You haven't heard my less than one reasoning before?
  8. Calev walked over to Elan 2. Who he'd never talked to before. Vena was back, yes, but...the pain wasn't gone. "Hey," he said.
  9. Calev notices and jumps into action. "Whoa whoa whoa," he says, stepping between them. He turns to Lilyana. "Calm down."
  10. Welcome!
  11. So, I last paged a story today.

Granted, that story was a very difficult video game that freaked me out so I didn't want to play it anymore, but still.

      The Bookwyrm

It's called Returnal and it's kind of freaky.

      But also good.

If I had more nerves I'd keep playing, but...

  13. Calev was still trying to process all that had happened. "She... vanished in a flash of light. And then the serpents disappeared."
  14. The problem with most Feruchemy is that you aren't storing direct investiture; you're sort of...translating?...another attribute into a keyed investiture for later usage. I think. Don't quote me on that. So I don't think you'd be able to absorb some Dor and utilize that for normal Feruchemy. Of course, there's also Nicrosil Feruchemy, which is the storage of Investiture. It might work in that case. Then again, Nicrosil Feruchemy is weird and I don't understand it, so it's possible that it's more complicated than that. There are other people here that understand all these things far more than I do, so they may be able to provide a better overall answer.
  15. Calev stares blankly at the symbol on the ground. Why? Then he follows Rallohir towards Eddie and Lilyana. @Rallohir @Edema Rue @The Wandering Wizard
