  1. Bookwyrm narrated the universe back together again, because not having a universe was inconvenient.
  2. The person who killed him does not know that he killed somebody.
  3. Were we ever sure about anything? Isn't that why we're asking so many questions?
  4. Bookwyrm remarked that the very soul of TLT itself was insanity. A pineapple and a metric ton of tuna smoothie fell on Nameless's head to prove this point.
  5. The person who killed him is now far away, and the person who killed him is still alive.
  6. Jerry had a smoldering hatred for all Jedi. He spent his time as a Cognitive Realm merchant trying to gather information about them so he could kill them.
  7. I finally got a friend to read Mistborn.

After what feels like years of pestering her to finally get around to some Cosmere, she finally started it. She had read Rithmatist and Alcatraz, and had started Elantris, but hadn't really gotten around to any serious Cosmere reading.

But yesterday was her birthday, and she got a copy of Mistborn.

She has already sent me texts containing theories and questions, which I have gleefully RAFO'ed. She also seems to be using me as a place to gather her thoughts, as she sent me a nice summary of Allomancy as she understood it three chapters in.

    I'm so happy right now.

Don't get me wrong, finding Sanderfans and making friends with them is incredible, and I wouldn't trade my Sanderfan friends that I've made that way for anything.

But there's really something different about getting one of your closest friends to read these books and getting to watch them experience how incredible they are.

(.....I may be getting ahead of myself. She's only four chapters in right now.)

Yay, that's fantastic! I agree, there's nothing like having someone IRL to babble at ^_^

Congratulations! It is always fun to get someone to read when they have been holding out on reading more. Soon I will have probably gotten both my parents to read mistborn.

I got my friend to read the entirety of Stormlight and I've spent countless hours explaining the Heralds and so much more.

After he finished Rhythm Of War, I spent 2 hours on the phone explaining everything I knew about Investiture and Anti-Investiture because RoW is dump of everything!

  8. Unfortunately, Jerry's backstory was very sad. He still carried a deep resentment and desire for revenge in his heart.
  9. The tropical habitable moon of a distant gas giant. Sometimes I think Earth is boring, because the largest celestial object we can see (besides the sun) is this small little sphere that barely takes up any of the sky. The moon is cool. But imagine standing on the surface of an alien world and looking into the sky, only to see a gigantic planet dominating a good fourth of the visible space in the sky. It would have swirling clouds that you could see with incredible detail, and you could probably also see nearby moons easily. It would be insane and incredible. Barring interstellar destinations, probably a Polynesian island. What is your dream interstellar destination?
  10. The fall was the cause of his death. No one pushed him.
  11. I always thought that Adin was going to be a back-half character. Maybe not a major character, but a character. I assume he'll swear Radiant oaths at some point. And it wouldn't fit as much if his father was a Radiant...though it could be possible.
  12. There is only one answer. (In the riddle I'm telling.) He did not fall from a plane or a tree.
  13. Jerry had a very interesting backstory involving corn dogs.
  14. Are we even sure that the muffin man exists?
  15. Another person's actions caused his death, and it was not intentional. .....Not quite. But he did die from a fall, I'll give you that. As mutilated as a body would be if it fell from high up.
  16. No. Doesn't really matter to the riddle, but it makes the most sense if he died that same day. Maybe the day before. He is not telling any falsehoods and is not dead because he told falsehoods.
  17. Very nice quote. Can be easily applied to how us deep Cosmere Sanderfans utterly confuse and baffle the non-Sanderfan people around us. And I am one of the mentioned Shardbuddies, so bonus points! 3π/10.
  18. Here's a riddle. You can only ask yes or no questions. It might take a long time, and if I for some reason don't post for a long time you can skip it and go onto someone else's riddle. There is a man lying dead on the forest floor. How did he die? (Only yes or no questions, and I will provide hints if you're stuck.)
  19. So...I realize I'm late... But that was incredible. Storming incredible. It was really interesting how you mixed Rosharan worldbuilding with the story, even giving the people on the other side of the wall Radiant-like powers. The entire thing was very deliberate and intentional, well thought out, and well written. Amazing job, @Lunamor!
  20. He wrote it in a very large font on the door of the room.
  21. This caused him to lock himself in a room and scribble cryptic messages all over the place for a day.
  22. Because The General was currently working for the Ghanderflaffles, a civil war ensued in the Ghanderflaffle Empire.
  23. This made everyone happy, and let the Ghanderflaffles continue conquering the Somewhat Known Universe. Unfortunately, this is where Butt Venture lived.
