  1. AHA! I'm happy I got this so quickly. I didn't know it before. The word is: Edit: Ninja'd. But I got it before I saw Frustration's post!
  2. These new Guardians were known as the Banishers, for they were the ones who had Banished Eof into The Darkness.
  3. But then, as the universe began to re-make itself, Eof stabbed Ecirtikark in the back with his Foeblade. This was Eof's plan. He was to create a universe in which he was the supreme ruler, and Ecirtikark was someone he could not let live. The universe re-formed, and Eof made himself as the ultimate ruler of everything. He was now Eof, the Ultimate King. Eof's master plan was complete.
  4. This being told him that if Ecirtikark agreed to follow what he said, Ecirtikark would be able to save the universe. This being, unbeknownst to Ecirtikark, was Eof the Ultimate Foe.
  5. And so Ecirtikark was trapped in the Unnumbered Dimension by the Souls of the Dead Krakitrice. He dwelt there for an untold, unimaginably long time. First, he worried that the universe would be destroyed, and that he wouldn't be able to stop it. Then, he grew angry. How dare they trap him here? How dare they take away his one opportunity to save everything and everyone that existed? Ecirtikark seethed in his infinite prison. Until...
  6. It all started when Ecirtikark attempted to steal The Prophecy Scroll.
  7. This was, of course, all according to Eof's plan. (I mean, if I can't change it, I might as well go along with it.) A young Krakitrice named Ecirtikark read the prophecy. He didn't want the universe to be destroyed. He happened to like the universe. So he went on a quest to stop the fulfillment prophecy.
  8. "Nameless?" Bookwyrm asked. "Exactly what song are you talking about?"
  9. Now, we have some more images. They are all incredible. This first one isn't an actual image, but the spectroscopy data from an exoplanet called WASP-96 b. WASP-96 b is a gas giant that is closer to it's star than Mercury is to our sun, making it very hot. The spectroscopy data from Webb shows water vapor in the atmosphere. While this isn't an actual image, some of the science Webb is going to be doing with these exoplanets in the future is really exciting for me. Here's a link to an article with more info: Link This next image is of a planetary nebula created by a star's death, called the Southern Ring Nebula. The image on the left is in near-infrared, while the image on the right is in mid-infrared. You can see so much detail in these images. It's incredible. Something interesting that you can see in the image on the right is that this dying star is part of a binary system, with a reddish star hiding right next to the blue one. The smaller, reddish star is the one that is dying; it produced the Southern Ring Nebula. Here's the NASA article for more information: Link This image is really cool. It's a picture of a five gravitationally interacting galaxies known as Stephan's Quintet. You can see really fine detail in these galaxies. If you look at the large galaxy on the left, you can almost make out individual stars, which is insane. This image is of the same quintet (minus the bottom galaxy) but filtered differently. Looking at the image in this way reveals tons of new details, most noteworthy being what looks like a huge star glowing in the center of the galaxy in the top right. That is no star. It's instead an active black hole. The supermassive black hole at the center of that galaxy is currently feeding on large amounts of gas and dust, and that causes it to glow brightly enough to outshine the rest of the entire galaxy. And once again, here's the NASA article: Link This last image might be my favorite. It's of the Carina Nebula, and the image (or maybe the specific part of the nebula?) has been nicknamed the Cosmic Cliffs. This nebula is what's known as a Stellar Nursery, meaning a place where there is a lot of gas and dust to facilitate large amounts of star formation. You can see a ton of stars in this nebula, and many of them formed directly from the gas and dust that makes up the nebula. It really is a beautiful sight. NASA article with more info: Link So there you have it. A bunch of new images from the latest and most advanced space telescope yet. This is only the beginning, and I can't wait to see what other images Webb is going to take, and what incredible things we're going to learn from them.
  10. Bookwyrm told the Krakitrice to foil Eof's master plan.
  11. Bookwyrm narrated his mind to not melt and kept reading.
  12. "I don't know. I think Nameless knows, so maybe he'll tell us."
  13. The previous post was not Canon, so the Krakitrice did not, in fact, eat fifteen Shardblades. It instead ate sixteen, because that's a much better number.
  14. "Let's go, then," Bookwyrm said. He walked down the stairs and into the Basement.
  15. This made the Krakitrice very sad. It wanted magic powers. So it went looking for a spren to bond.
  16. "I am unfamiliar with the book which you are talking about. Sadly. It sounds like a good book."
  17. Welcome to the Shard! ....I see some...unfair bias....in your poll, by the way..... But that's irrelevant. We can't wait to hear all of your crazy Cosmere thoughts!
  18. This turned the Krakitrice into a very powerful Mistborn.
  19. It kept eating until it came to The Pits of Hathsin.
  20. The Krakitrice wrote this secret on a secret piece of paper so it would not forget.
  21. Found the Kitten retrieved his eyes and returned to the Fourth Dimension. Bookwyrm remarked that there was more than one Narrator. To prove this point, an army of Selffalfrednahgs appeared out of nowhere and surrounded Nameless.
  22. Bookwyrm checked his pouch of infinite storage to make sure he had everything he needed. "What song are we killing, exactly?" he asked Nameless. "And Silhouette, I can be our primary strategist and/or magic specialist," he continued. "Just tell me when you two are ready."
