I'm desperate for book recommendations.
And for once I need fantasy, not sci-fi.
I need the grand, sweeping epic fantasy that everyone is talking about but I haven't read yet.
Please help me.
SpoilerSpoilerSpoilerSpoilerSpoilerSpoilerAlso, which book is Kaz Brekker (if that's his name...) from again? Everyone keeps talking about him...and so I'm curious.

I actually just re-read The Goose Girl (well, technically listened to it) because I was bored. It's a great book.

Ahhh I need to read Earthsea and Diskworld at some point... *shrugs* my reread of Dune is more important.
Okay okay obligatory Name of the Wind mention, if you want grand epic fantasy with beautiful prose...there you go. All yours. The first book is one of the best things I've ever read (though it does swear a lot) and the second one...ah...I can find the exact page numbers for you to skip, if you get that far. Also, the sorta novella thing, The Slow Regard of Silent Things is wonderful and sweet (Thaid it's about Auri...dear sweet precious Auri...)
Also with Malazan, I loved the first book, and then I stopped reading the second one because it...ah...was going places that I really didn't like.
HmmmMm other good fantasy...Piranesi is sort of fantasy, I genuinely don't know how to describe it but it's so good.
OH OH OH AND THE NIGHT CIRCUS I LOVE THE NIGHT CIRCUS READ IT PLEASE
And also The Poppy War, but that one's really really really really really dark.
Oh one more, Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet if you haven't read it.
No I'm not obsessed hush ye little devil in my brain. -
