    Ask RG2045 anything

    Fair enough
  2. Honestly TLR is one of if not the most op person in the cosmer it’s a hailmary and could work even if it doesn’t outright kill him
  3. Rg2045

    Ask RG2045 anything

9/10 red goes with A pizza and pineapple
  4. I think the real question is if TLR would be killed by nightblood. I could see vasher killing an inquisater or two TLR seeing it and wanting the weapon. The vasher dropping nightblood to let TLR “take it” and the killing himself

    1) Definitely Dalinar. He’s definitely the character that I would look up to. 2) probably thrawn from Star Wars. I mean he’s thrawn you can’t get better then him. 3) this one’s hard because I hate to reread anything that’s not Brandon. But I have read a bunch of manga so I’ll say one of those. it’s between “as the gods will”/“as the gods will 2” “aot” “Vinland saga” and “kingdom” 4) lasagna 5) this is not a sane question. Definitive no 6) cosmer thread and stormlight thread 7) games (almost any game) being a dad, theorizing, and hopefully welding soon
  6. I think Brandon got bondsmith, and it’s more like I absorb them. I read something and then adopt the parts I feel would make myself a better person
  7. Rg2045 I was stumped on a username and got frustrated and decided one random guy that was unsurprisingly taken. So I then decided on rg and that surprisingly was taken. so I then pressed random numbers and I didn’t like the results so I then pressed numbers I liked together and got my username
  8. Alright let’s do this. Never done this before. And I will not answer anything that makes me uncomfortable, naturally
  9. So what if, asking for a friend…., you thought you were the oldest then found out in your 20’s you technically weren’t. And after a marriage you have two step-siblings that are older but one is disabled and the other never was really a sibling, I mean I feel that thinking you were the oldest for more then 20 years could qualify you for a sonority spot of some sorts.
  10. She could have easily gotten herself out any time she wanted, especially sense she can “soulcast right”
  11. It could be another off world group, I just can’t see where gavilar would make this.(if he was a bondsmith then I could believe it) and I don’t see why someone in the Sons of Honor wouldn’t tell at least Amaram. We also could be missing big revelations by Brandon straight up not revealing it. I don’t see gavilar doing this because he wasn’t even in the second oath. Something that people stumble apon by simply being sincere. people that say the oaths know more and more know that intent is the most important piece. I do think tho that he was getting closer. Especially after meaning the words he said. Tho he might just start saying demands.
  12. Skybreakers are about justice, and syl made references that kaladin is not a skybreaker when he talks about getting justice for his squad. I feel that kaladin was balancing between Windrunner and skybreaker in tWoK and WoR but then focused on Windrunner in O onwards
  13. Ah finally, three things 1) I been wanting to start a form about gavilar. And how he is even better after the prologue this is close enough to fight for my points. 2) one of two things happened that gave gavilar anti voidlight. 2a) the ghostbloods created it and gave it to gavilar. 2b) the people that made it were killed in the assassination. gavilar doesn’t have the knowledge to do this but he has the resources both on and off world to have it done. 3) no matter if you believe stormfaker or true stormfather. Gavilar was being misled. And this misleading made gavilar believe that he would be a herald and be immortal. If he knew he would be a bondsmith and that the words don’t matter but the intent behind the words. Then he would have made leaps and bounds just by opening his research. Also if Dalinar is a dawnshard (tho ishar and hoid seems to be the people to know if he was one) then he might have received it from gavilar somehow. Especially if he got it from The Way of Kings book. (And we would know gavilar read it so much that he had it memorized, and nobody else really wanted anything to do with it.) basically gavilar had multiple spinning plates and through a translation error(or a cultural one) he screwed up. (My belief is that he believed that sense they called the fused gods they wanted their return, or that he told eshoni that he would kill them be she didn’t listen) The literal piece that doesn’t “work” or fit. Or shouldn’t fit is szeth. He never should have been there. And he was the only one who could kill a king that night. anyways I would like to discuss more. I like gavilar more and more each book. And after the prologue it just adds more to him imo
  14. Theirs much overlap what people can bond. I could easily see Dalinar as a stoneward, navani as a elsecaller, and book 1,2 kaladin as a skybreaker
  15. Oathgates need to be set up in order to make proper use of them. So using an elsecaller ship to transport to the CR travel great distance then pop out a much grander distance to set up shop to build an oathgate sounds like a viable strategy
  16. So, the question becomes how to unbound spren. The answer might surprise you. I say a cultural takeover could actually make people think spren are a natural part of nature and that could unbound them. shattering cultivation and odium might unbound them. spren could wear something like an aluminum alloy outfit for the connection problem. maybe (reforged) honor and cultivation could invest other planets and that could help. maybe you can “gain” a connection with a planet with enough investiture. And the spren can do it but they dont know so they don’t.
  17. Maybe that’s what allomancers did when they used allomancy. They “hummed” the rhythm or at least close to it. Also I think the mist are supposedly able to fill gem stones on scandrial but they barely do. but my head cannon is that the mist would fill them up but only gemstones on roshar. That rosharin gemstones are uniquely designed to hold investiger. But I’m sure that their is a better theory like closeness to the SR and such.
  18. Wouldn’t this be a form of compounding? The regular healing mixed with regrowth
  19. Could it be that they tore apart the metal and ado just straight up said “ok that won’t kill me but I’ll divide and kill myself anyways, maybe this will be interesting”
  20. Could it be the metal was like the physical representation of ado. Kinda like how perpendicularties (most are liquid they learned from ados mistake) are where shards “are”
  21. I was making more, assumptions, based on your comments. The stormfather was at life before death oath with gavilar and wasn’t scared of the oaths breaking most likely because he knows nothing bad would happen to him.
  22. So first oath bonds can be broken “easily” second oaths when broken “hurt” and third and more “kill” the spren.
  23. I would think that it would function as an arrow would. Just like throwing your shard blade.
  24. Spren gun/bow is really interesting but imo ultimately useless. It’s just a unbreakable gun. Where as a spren bullet or arrow is awesome because it’s closer to shardblades and arrows especially are able to be shot within the acceptable range for a spren to leave their bond. Imagine sadeas killing the chasemfiend with one arrow when elocar fell off? Idk to me it sounds op
  25. Well I feel people are making the same mistake gavilar is making. That the words are the most important part. The most important part is the intent behind the words. That’s why “give it to me now” is the closest gavilar got. Because he truly desired it. So while gavilars thoughts were safe his heart was always being read though his words
