Love this idea, but physics. I think it would put extreme strain on both halves, and that would mean only a shard could do it. Maybe that is how virtuosity splintered.

I lied, it was Steelheart. It was given to me as a book I should read. I enjoyed it, but never was able to get the next one, so I forgot about it. Years later, Mistborn was suggested to me and the Cosmere as a whole, so I looked Sanderson up and started reading his first Cosmere book. That is why I put Elantris. I then read every Cosmere book he wrote, the rest of Reckoners and some of his other short stories in half a year, Leading me to now.
