  1. But you could be a fire! Welcome anyways, even if you don't want to be a fire.
  2. I think radiant shardplate behaves the same as regular shardplate, except that with stormlight, you can refresh it's power after getting beat up with a shardblade
  3. Wit has actually traveled more than Nomad.
  4. Quantum entanglement of particles cannot, we have no idea how macroscopic objects would be affected. There is also the question of whether quantum entanglement is actually the entanglement of real properties or just probabilities, but this isn't the place for that. I was not aware of that WOB, but that is good to know. Regardless, I think the mental link would/could have a lag, especially since the Stormfather is not himself one of the Heralds.
  5. Spanreeds at least utilize quantum entanglement, which appears faster than light, but its really complicated. The oathgates may, but remember, special relativity means that it could feel like instantaneous travel, but actually take more time than that.
  6. My belief is that spiritual DNA works like regular DNA, and for mistings and ferrings each, there are 16 genes, one for each metal, but if multiple are turned on, they are ful. The other alternative is that some metals are dominant to others, but that seems unlikely as it appears that all varieties of mistings/ferrings are in rougly equal frequencies.
  7. In addition, the Stormfather may have suffered "lag" when sensing the death. Even telepathic communication has to go slower than or at the speed of light.
  8. Granted, but your mind literally blows up from the sheer immensity of this information. I wish someone else would make a wish.
  9. I didn't get past character creation because the DM had to leave(My scout leader YEARS ago). I've played other games in that vein and actually created a few of my own, and am kind of sad it never ended up working out. TPBM is and Eagle Scout like me.
  10. You can get it in ebook form if your library has it, I don't know where you are in the world so you may not be able to access it if your library has only a small selection on overdrive or hoopla.
  11. Ah, if only there was a way to have the sacrament with general conference. And also the socialization, because that is a really important part of the Sunday meetings too.
  12. Salve, Ranmare (Latin, but I had to do my best to change the form your name is in). You run I see, that's pretty cool. Look forward to seeing your theories.
  13. Welcome. You should check out white sand, it's a quick read, and it gives a little bit of insight that is interesting.
  14. I can't see it because I'm on mobile right now, but I think you said follower of Christ or something similar, which any Christian sect could use to describe themselves. However, I did think it likely you were, due to to that and many other factors.
  15. Welcome. Also I'm not addicted to Sanderson. I can stop whenever I want to. (Honestly though, as long as the books don't pull me away from people, they aren't an addiction in my book, as they only do me good.)(And it is actually hard to stop.)
  16. Welcome! In an effort to keep you out of trouble, I will warn you it is frowned upon to double post(post multiple times in a row without another post or a large amount of time in between.
  17. I knew I was setting myself up for disappointment, but I figured you'd pick someone better known, or at least who actively posts.
  18. I wasn't sure, some things you've said guided me to the assumption of such, but I never saw anything outright saying so.
  19. Finally confirmation you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. @Thaidakar the Ghostblood
  20. Granted, but you're roasted on a spit while Hoid is masquerading as your mother. I wish for 160 dollars so i can upgrade my ebook pledge to the hardcovers.
