  10. Alright, this thread has seen lot's of action now so I'm gonna say last call for Betrayal. We'll play turn based, and I'll run everything myself. All anyone has to do is show up maybe once or twice a day. If you don't know how to play we can teach you/link to the rulebook or a tutorial. Right now we have 3/6 players. I don't think I've got quite that high, great job.
  11. I know I shouldn't do this, but I'm guessing two people. Nightblood Admiral

  13. Heal Adin, hurt Walin Who is Walin? I don't know, I want him dead(Not really, but someone has to die.

  16. I personally love the extra rooms and haunts, it makes every game more unique. There's an errata sheet that fixes some of it's problems, but the game if perfectly fun even when unbalanced (that's the beauty of it). All the games would be turn based, so there's no stress to play more than a few minutes every day(except for the person running things. It is really fun. One that I play often of BGA, and it's also one that would be easy to play virtually. I have heard of it, but never played. Speaking of BGA, anyone want to add me on there? My username is Lord Elend Venture. I haven't been active much lately and only ever do turn based, but I don't think there is a friend limit.
  17. Hurt Yalb, he's getting too big for his britches. HEAL Adin
  18. So, I've fallen in love with Discworld, through The Truth and my birthday is coming up, so I'm wondering if you guys have recommendations for the best books in the Discworld series, that I will enjoy most, having both the strangeness, yet industrial revolution feel, and also deep-seated moral question that I found in The Truth?

I've heard Guards! Guards! is the best place to start, but the libraries by me have only a limited selection.

      It's on my list.

Going Postal is pretty much exactly what you're looking for. I think you might like Monstrous Regiment too. And there is also the entire City Watch series (starting with Guards! Guards!), especially some later instalments like Night Watch.

Btw you don't have to read the books in order. If you want to pick and choose what you like, do it. You'll miss on some character development if you don't read a subseries in order, sure, but if you're only ever reading 2 books in the subseries you don't really care. I say this because that feel you describe is more or less the general late Discworld atmosphere, and most of those late books are around the end of their subseries.

Alright, Going Postal in addition to Guards!, Guards! and try to read subseries in order, light the city watch series.

And yeah, I caught that bit about not needing to read in order.
