Catching him after the event is over is a great way to get a few more questions in. He is usually okay with that (unless his schedule is pressing or something).

Calamity Tour - Austin, TX, Feb 25, 2016
Argent replied to Mark Lindberg's topic in Events and Signings
Huh. That's kind of weird. We are going to need to find out why some spren can form Nahel bonds, while others can't. It might have something to do with why Syl considers windspren her cousins. -
Oooh, I've got my fingers crossed for a Marsh Secret History. His life in the 300 years between the Catacendre and The Alloy of Law. But if we are piling questions on the poor soul, I have something sitting on my backlog for some time now: How was Ruin planning on re-absorbing the Lord Ruler's atium cache?

Yeah, both are great series. I just wish Magic Ex Libris didn't have such a strong Dresden vibe to it, I want it to stand better on its own. As it is, Isaac Vainio is practically Harry Dresden, but with different magic. Though I suppose that had I read them in reverse, I would consider Dresden to be Isaac in a different world...

The Stormlight was never delayed - it never had an official release date. This is one of the main reasons creators of any type dislike giving unofficial ETAs. I am as eager as everyone else for more Stormlight - it is my favorite Brandon series - but it'll be out when it's out. Until then it's best not too much too much stock in unofficial estimates.

I don't remember if updated the thread with my progress, but I finished Calamity a couple of days after release, took a short break, and am at about the 90% mark of Jim C. Hines' Revisionary, the fourth book in the Magic Ex Libris series. For some reason I find it hard to remember details from the previous books (though I know I liked them), so I was a little lost whenever an event from a previous book came up, but outside of that it's a great book so far.

[Secret History] An interesting excerpt from Cognitive
Argent replied to Kelsier's Boxing Glove's topic in Mistborn
More difficult. Cognitive aspects are, apparently tiny - a glass bead, a wisp of mist. A lot easier to carry a bunch of them than actual bricks. -
I thought it was a confirmed by implication? Somebody asking a question, referring to Adonalsium as "he", and Brandon just not correcting them?

CONFIRMATION - The Weapon that killed Adonalsium no longer exists
Argent replied to imriel452's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Maybe read the idea before debunking it It was not about something "as simple as aluminum on its own," it was about something - power is what I am leaning towards - transforming into the first aluminum in the Cosmere after the Shattering.- 65 replies

Yeah, you pushed a lot of questions there But I am oddly glad about the diesel question, it's been way in the back of my mind for a while.

CONFIRMATION - The Weapon that killed Adonalsium no longer exists
Argent replied to imriel452's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... That's one helluva discovery. So, we know that the original Vessels killed Adonalsium (or at least Khriss believes this to be the case, and she is our best resource right now). With something that no longer exists in its original form. My headcanon? Whatever the weapon was, a material, a power, a being, its death transformed it into aluminum.- 65 replies

Radiant's Color of Eyes,Shardplate and Blade
Argent replied to StormWrath's topic in Stormlight Archive
I thought I also had a confirmation that Shallan's eyes would turn a shade of red or pink (but only a little, because she is already a lighteyes and - presumably - the change is not as obvious there) if she were to draw Pattern, but I can't find it.- 54 replies

I had a thread about GA a while back, but I can't find it right now. I like them, but only as a supplementary material. I would much rather have my first experience with a book be with, well, the book, and only then I would slowly listen to the GA adaptation whenever I have the time.
-
It's a restrictive - binding, if you will - categorization of these Shards, but not an invalid one, I think.

I keep doing this thing where I feel bad for asking questions when it's my turn on the personalization line, so I do a poor job and rush things... I need to work on that. I also uploaded my audio as well, though I will admit the timestamps probably don't match. I only listened to a few minutes of it here and there, so I know it's not terrible, but it's not good. I feel like I've somehow failed Chicago by choosing to hang out with fans instead of lurking three feet away from Brandon and memorizing everything in case of bad audio... =\
-
For reference, there is also a link to the Google doc in the first post of the thread. More convenient that way.
-
I think we got the full thing in Chicago. It was a long read. I am pretty sure I have on my recording (which I haven't shared yet), don't know if the ones already posted have it.

The melting happens in the Physical Realm. I imagine it's nice for them to have their pain taken away. What awaits next is a different story...

Oh, I don't know how to play this game apparently...

Now I would be curious to find out if there is, or ever was, a Shard whose Intent is similar to Sorrow.

I was very confident that the reason the Cognitive Realm around Sel is dangerous is because of the wild power of the Dor destroying everything that's not somehow protected.
-
Maybe organizing the Chicago signings? A few people are recognizing me during events, which is really nice.
