All the Shardworlds outside of Greater Roshar (which contains Roshar, Ashyn, and Braize) are in different star systems.

Because every time I see it (capitalized) I think somebody is talking about me.

[Words of Radiance Tour] Chicago Signing, Mar 22

Well, the rest of the ketek is about Honor's Splintering. So unless he was killed on Ashyn... -
Nice catch, Seloun!

He hands them out to a few people each signing. You usually have to do something to earn pins and stickers - come in costume, make something, etc.

[Words of Radiance Tour] Chicago Signing, Mar 22

Okay, tge event is now over. If you look at my questions from a few posts ago, I asked (almost?) everything from the first 3 tiers. A few answers, a few RAFOs, tge usual. I'll post transcripts and audio later today and tomorrow. For now I'll say that the person who arrived at the gates of Kholinar is the same person as the one delivered to the warcamps, and that the number of the Unmade is fixed but is not 10. Oh, and the TWoK ketek? "Above the Silence" refers to "above the silent land" but Brandon would not confirm if that's Roshar. -
Seeing a bunch of people with Ardent around their avatar is going to freak me out...

[Words of Radiance Tour] Chicago Signing, Mar 22

Here is the (pretty much) final list of questions I want to ask and maybe share with a friend. I might still make some last-minute changes, but I doubt it'll be anything major. My questions are organized in tiers - the lower the tier number, the more interested I am in asking it. We'll see how much time I'll have... Words of Radiance Chicago Signing Questions -
Drat, I can't find the filter that lets me see them all! I was going to say that it would be neat if powers of two advance you to Mistborn-related ranks, multiples of 10 (or 100) - Stormlight-related ones, and the others fill the gaps. But now that I wrote it out, the last part really kills the idea...

Yea, most of the people in the Chicago signings ask the standard questions...

Son of a... I bet he is that ardent drawing bridgemen. This doesn't give us anything! But, man, tons of information. Love it! I really need to do some heavy duty recruiting for the 17S in Chicago so we can get more than just a few questions each signing...

That's what I've been assuming as well.

And I still think it's him. Only with his brains a little scrambled.

There would have to be something magical about it, and this doesn't seem the case with Greater Roshar's star. Plus, I think even a Shard would die in outer space / near a star, they are not immortal.
-
I am not sure. The Returned are said to return with a purpose - healing the God King in Lightsong's case. So there is purpose. Intent.

I might need to either cut down on my own questions, or find a lot more... Looks like there are going to be a lot of people, and since Brandon has to leave around 5:30 for the Milwaukee signing, there is a good chance he won't be able to stay after the event and chat. There is a chance, however, that he will arrive earlier and I will get a chance to ambush him while he is signing stock -
Eh, fair enough. I've been going with the Rosharan definition, not the Realmatic one.
-
Nightblood is not actually a Shardblade - he is similar enough so that Nale either doesn't know better or doesn't feel the need to bother explaining the differences to Szeth. The Returned are even further from this - they contain Splinters of Endowment, which is why their transformative abilities in the physical realm are limited to humanoid shape roughly their size.
-
If a Returned hides his or her Deific Breath, they must lose the perks that come with it - this quote from the prologue makes it pretty clear to me: It's from his point of view and leaves little room for debate. I imagine he deals with the Weeping by: having a couple of pretty massive gemhearts stashed somewhere - if they are big enough, they won't run out of light during the Weeping actually having some Breaths - he only needs a few each Weeping going back to Nalthis and buy / acquiring a few Breaths
-
I doubt it. Dominion's Shardholder was called Skai, and his Splinters, the Skaze, are pretty involved in Fjordell - the type of culture that developed there has very little in common with Arelon.
-
That's creative.
-
Yep.

I wouldn't say this is a spoiler, least of all a major one. Interesting, though.
