I paraphrased - the actual question was much longer and less clear, something about the Parshendi freely admitting they ordered the assassination, but then running away and not facing retribution, and then going into an extended war, but now asking for peace... It's in the audio. You should be able to quickly find it if I provided a time mark.

This is a pretty chart, I like it. -

Yea, you are pretty broken. Primed for a Nahel bond though. -
This one? Somebody played with the image's colors and figured it out. Let me see if I can find the thread... There.

No, I wouldn't make this conclusion. On Roshar, I would probably be considered Shin, but that doesn't mean you've seen me on page...

Who's a Herald (or why Brandon is careful about Taln)?

I suppose, but such development is really stretching the realm of plausibility.

Would you expect anything else from the god of the tricksters?
-
Yea, it looks like her memories are a part of the restoration process induced by the strengthening of the Nahel bond.

It should be the Heralds - but I believe our perspective is skewed by Szeth. Maybe the Honorblades are specifically attuned to their respective Heralds, and become much more efficient if wielded by them. Maybe it's Szeth who is the reason for the horrible waste of Stormlight - he really doesn't strike me as having the type of personality that would match Jezrien's Blade. Maybe there is a key to using an Honorblade correctly. Oh, and there is also the part where the Heralds have abilities that are not Surgebindings, but do not require their Blades.

Pretty sure Seons won't turn into Blades, at least not automatically. I think Brandon said it's possible to make it happen though.

Zombie Survival Guide: Investiture Edition
Argent replied to Kobold King's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I doubt mirrors will work with the Dor, you need the Elantrian sDNA to cut the proper hole in the physical realm. -
A version of this idea I've been tinkering with makes the Heralds a combination of separate bodies and a single mind. Maybe when a Herald dies, it's their cognitive aspects that gets sent to Damnation, while the body dies. Then, when they need to return, they have their mind shoved down some poor sod's throat, and voala - Herald. This could explain why Nale's chapter header portrait doesn't have his signature scar on the cheek - the drawing could've been done when he wore a different face. The memories would always be intact, but ot would take the new body some time to get used to the new mind in it.

You know, I just can't bring myself to be excited about ASoIaF anymore. I'll finish the series, but I no longer hype over them like I used to...

Err, Raoden could draw complex Aons in seconds. If nothing else, Daa is effective and simple way to buy time. -
I am disappointed this is not a shipping thread. The title misled me

Zombie Survival Guide: Investiture Edition

AonDor, to this day, remains my system of choice. It's just too versatile. -
Hmm. That might actually be possible.

The exact wording of my question has been mentioned several times - "Is the person who arrives at the gates of Kholinar at the end of The Way of Kings the same person as the one Bordin delivers to the warcamps?"
-
Except we can't be wrong about Sebarial, because his glyph is drawn very clearly on the Narak map, and it's distinctive enough so that we can identify it with very high confidence on the warcamps map - it's the one just above the bottom one. I think I actually had 7 or 8 of them figured out, just don't have my notes with me at work.

Aha! Honorspren is somewhere between 1,012 and 1,028. Considering that Cryptic is 1,050 I am going to guess 1,025 for Honorspren.

Aaand we have a winner. This thread is now over, the prize has been won. Time to leave the Internet and go outside. -
I like this. I have no idea how it might be done, but I like it.

Two things bother me about the theory that the pool can be used for worldhopping: Nothing in the pool's behavior suggests that it could be used for transportation - it's all about release, letting go, ceasing your (physical?) existence. The voice in Raoden's head didn't ask him where he wanted to go (which he could've interpreted as "do you want to go to the afterlife or stay here?"), it told him he can let go, give up, be at peace. Elantrians melt when they submit to the pool's will. This makes for a pretty crappy method of transportation - and it doesn't seem like they disappear in the pool and maybe appear somewhere else, they actually melt in there. I still think Aon Tia (Travel, Transportation) is the key to all this. The reason Hoid was on Sel could've been so he can figure out how to worldhop without having to rely on Shadesmar, which could potentially be dangerous and time-consuming. So instead he survives whatever dangers Shadesmar has bred around Sel once, hacks AonDor so it works with other geographies, and now he knows how to change Aon Tia so it works with every Shardworld's geography.
