    Of course, more data is always a good thing. But I can't imagine all the forms being too distinctive - the physiological changes are there to facilitate whatever activity the form is meant to assist with. Warform gets armor, mateform gets primary and secondary sex organs, nimbleform gets a lean and agile body. What could scholarform or artform possible grant over himbleform, other than different mental capabilities?

    This is kind of what I thought as well, so it's not like you missed anything. The problem with this is that the distance between the worlds is constantly changing as they orbit and rotate. The way we understand Aon Tia, it's practically impossible to just encode the distances without Earth-level technology - and I am not sure it can be done even with it. This being said, I believe it's possible that Hoid knows of a way to encode location instead of distance to a location.

    Shallan and Sarene are the two I feel are most similar - I keep reading Shallan in Sarene's voice, as impressed on me by the Graphic Audio adaptation of Elantris. I am not alarmed by this, or any of the other similarities - in a certain light Dalinar is very similar to Elend. Which are both very similar to Aragorn. It's a minor flaw I am perfectly okay with.

    Just finished The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms a couple of days ago. Considering that Brandon praised it a couple of times on Writing Excuses, I expected much more out of it. Goodreads ratings say the second one is better, so I might pick it up sometime down the line...

    Well, you see, when mommy koloss and daddy koloss love each other very much... But no, I don't remember them as zombies. Think deformed humans. Szeth must have changed some things around though, so that they can breed now (instead of doing a bunch of snatch 'n' spike runs).

    Hmm, right. The Emperor's Soul is, what, 30 years after Elantris? Or am I thinking Elantris II here? Because I know Mistborn comes (several hundred?) years after Elantris, but I don't know where TES fits in.

    I don't know, unification has nothing to do with Honor in my mind. Taravangian wants to unite all of Roshar, but he doesn't strike me as very honorable. Damnation, Sadeas wants to unite all of Alethkar!

    How would they enhance Breaths? Each Breath is virtually indistinguishable from every other Breath - it doesn't matter if you have 200 Hallandren Breaths, or 200 Idrian ones, you are still of the Second Heightening.
