  1. Hence hotly contested.
  2. This is what I've been asking the whole time! Thank you!
  3. Do you think passionspren are a mix?
  4. Of course, the shard is full of theater kids, I really should have expected this.
  5. I got it to write this, inputting the last part of the story But Jarek's troubles were far from over. As he soared over the city, he noticed a group of dark figures emerging from the shadows below. They were the feared Windseekers, a secretive order of kite mages who had long been rumored to possess incredible power. Jarek had always been fascinated by the Windseekers, but he had never dared to approach them. Now, it seemed that they had taken an interest in him. With a sudden burst of speed, Jarek tried to outrun the Windseekers, but it was no use. They were too fast, too skilled, and too determined. As they closed in on him, Jarek prepared for the worst. But to his surprise, the Windseekers did not attack him. Instead, they invited him to join their order. Jarek was hesitant at first. He had always been a lone wolf, and the idea of joining a group of mages was not appealing to him. But as the Windseekers explained their mission - to use their powers for the greater good of the world - Jarek began to see the value in their cause. And so, he accepted their offer and became a Windseeker. Over the years, he honed his kite magic skills, learning new spells and techniques from his fellow mages. Together, they fought against those who would abuse their powers for their own selfish gain, protecting the innocent and upholding justice in the world. As Jarek looked out over the city of Arathia once again, he felt a sense of pride and purpose. He knew that his kite magic had led him down a dangerous path, but it had also brought him to where he belonged - among the Windseekers, who shared his passion for the wind and the power it held. And so, Jarek soared into the sky once again, his kite trailing behind him like a banner of freedom and hope. For in the world of kite magic, anything was possible - and Jarek was ready to embrace the limitless possibilities of the wind.
  6. I have no idea what you're talking about tbh
  7. Yeah I was, I was basically trying to ask what the bead would look like.
  8. The fact that a spren of passion exists is fascinating. Passion is covered by Odium, with Passion being part of Odium's Intent along with hatred. This could mean either two things, Odium's power has completely infiltrated the Rosharian system and is now fully merged with the spren-ecology of Roshar. This could mean that Passionspren are a form of voidspren or some kind of mixture of investures. Different shards can mimic other shards' pure intent via a splinter. Both possibilities have cosmere spanning consequences, if Odium is fully invested into Roshar, new magic systems should develop (or have developed), meaning we could see more powers than just pure Odium. If different Shards can mimic each other's intents, this could explain how future magic hacks might work (And how Ruin got involved in Nightblood).
  9. This one is hotly contested because star spren are rather rare. The other common one is Gravityspren/ Gravitationspren or Luckspren.
  10. Just remembered that there's a Wob where Brandon confirms it comes from threnody
  11. It is most definitely Threondite Silver. The land of the dead is obviously the forests of hell.
  12. Mateform is min-maxed into babymaking so hard it can and will transcend the three realms to make more babies.
  13. Honestly, Hamin, I have no idea, one minute I was at a birthday party, and the next, Harmony was hurling me across this rusting obsidian plane. How did you get here!? Did Harmony throw you too?
  14. Are you ever overwhelmed by the urge to bring back  a thread that was last posted in nearly 2 years ago?

    1. Robin Sedai

      Robin Sedai

      Sometimes, yep

  15. I apologize if this is offensive but is "Mormon" a like psuedo slur? I've seen some people react with hissing and I'm just curious.
  16. I Finished Witches Abroad; imagine the plot of The Princess and the Frog (reversed though, turned a frog into human) with the plot of cinderella and some sleeping beauty, but there are some random old women who do not want to be in that story and actively try to undermine it. I need to start listing to the wicked sound track while reading them.
  17. Not me having the E-book version and not reading it until I get the paper copy
  18. Axelle was at a party (a rather bland party, but one nonetheless), celebrating the birthday of lord something or other. The night of the party, the Mists were particularly dense and acting strange; they seemed to devour the light from the lanterns. Suddenly, the Mist seems to heave against the building making the walls sag inward. Then, with a pop, the building collapsed inward, "Oh, Harmony," Axelle said. Then, with a thunk, all goes black. She awoke falling, plummeting through a misty liquid when a hand shot out to grab her. She briefly sees a rather confused-looking terrisman standing on the Mist, he shakes his hand, and Axelle is tossed across that misty world. You see a woman flying towards you, screaming in terror.
  19. Some people said turn into a fullborn I said be a fulborn
  20. Imagine if he got a dawnshard to!
  21. Almost, his intent would probably still be difficult to work with, but the whole "OMG I'M GONNA SPLIT IN HALF AND TURN INTO DISCORD" probably wouldn't happen.
  22. HEY I SAID THAT ONE
