  1. "Forced to let it weaken" or else it would destroy the world. It's well within his power to keep the everstorm at it's top strength, he's two shards, I see no real reason why the single most powerful force in the entire cosmere couldn't have a storm at it's top strength.
  2. You can also have a soul warping, just by doing things, or having a lot of power course through you. A thunderclast's soul is warped, so is a Sliver, and so is a savant. I'm pretty sure someone at some point had a warped soul from murdering people. Something about intent and corrupted investiture, I bet.
  3. So one small point. Dalinar stretches out, and passes into the beyond. I think that's what he's claimed by, not Ado. Odium has no power over Dalinar, he didn't "lose" and didn't need to listen to him. Didn't Hoid do that? Pull kaladin out of a vision without odium being able to notice? Hoid isn't a shard.
  4. I doubt we need to wait so long. I don't think that's rafo information, so a WOB will do.
  5. As @alder24 said, we have no idea. My theory is it's like fabrials, and grants new powers, depending on the stone and Spren (Or maybe just light?) but that's just a theory.
  6. It's possible that he had the one that was "somehow different than the rest," and it didn't make him immortal. And do we know if change does this too? Or just Exist?
  7. Parrots can live up to like 80. It'll be fine.
  8. Which would probably change if roshar got invaded.
  9. Yeah I see no reason he wouldn't be able to. It's also worth saying that Retribution could just kill any scadrial that steps foot into the roshar system, he can smite now. Harmony can not, since he's so divided. Discord might be able to, but that's a whole different beast.
  10. As far I can tell, the only reason it's weak is because Retribution wants it to be. It's not weak or spread out, it's just weakened because he doesn't want to kill everyone. Not quickly at least.
  11. Don't forget, there's only so many superpowers a person can think of, and we have most of them out of the way.
  12. Well, given that they have infinite stormlight, they're basically, unkillable. All they need is a single slash, and with the herald's super fast movement, the Lions die like hot butter. Taln held off an army alone, an army with magic powers too, those lions have no chance.
  13. I bet both of them knew that gemstones interact with their powers somehow, but didn't really have a way to take advantage of this. No. It's pretty clear that that stuff is already covered by normal hemalurgy, why would there be duplicates? Gemalurgy™ is something new, with new powers, and under new, if related, rules. I doubt it. Law of Hemalurgic decay and all that. That's a thought. I assumed they're more like fabrials, and they can see investiture in general, not just spren.
  14. It's just how Dalinar is going to the beyond. He stretches, and vanishes from Retribution's sight. As others have said, red just means corruption, them being red mean they're explicitly not related to Autonomy, not naturally at least.
  15. Don't forget, Odium's colors are red-gold.
  16. The broken link is Jezrian, is it not? He died at this point. That part of the oathpact is broken, fully.
  17. Absolutely no idea! I assume she has good future sight, so maybe time was ripe?
  18. Yes. That's exactly what I mean. His return either granted him access to fortune, or Endowment put it in his brain.
  19. Well, Vo had very deep knowledge about breaths, and his circumstance. It wouldn't be too surprising if he said something that enabled breath research. Vision Six, Anyone?
  20. Well, the whole planet is artificial. I feel as if something as large as a moon vanishing during the clash would have been mentioned. It's older than Honor, I think.
  21. People discovered how to use breaths; at least to awaken. It's not a simple thing to do. You need a single, specific command to even get enough breaths to fool around with it. You won't get instinctual awakening from anyone other than a returned, and they're kind of screwed if they awaken. I suspect that breaths have been around for longer, the average person just didn't know how to use it. It seems like hoid is storing his memory in them, and while it could be a recent thing, he probably would have gone mad if he didn't have a different way to store them. Fortune, along with being super invested would help with figuring out commands. Plus, no one around him speaks yolish, so no one will figure out a command! As for the quote... It's possibly referring to something pre-shattering? Binding a shard from their power, while never even going into their system is hard. Blocking the giving shard from giving is probably even harder.
  22. What do you mean? She's always been able to give people breaths?
  23. Hey there's a couple spare unimportant bridge four member for him to kill... Hobber?
  24. I love this idea! Shallan's baby will be named after someone, either Kaladin or Dalinar. Kaladin will be flabbergasted that people already named people after him. Adolin's leg will not be healed.
  25. I mean, I doubt Honor+ Cultivation would make Tower. Cultivation isn't called life, Honor isn't called storm, and Odium isn't called void.
