  1. Just watched the cursed child and

Jesus christ they were SO gay 😭

I can see why the Fandom went rabid over shipping them. The tension is there, the chemistry is there, the subtext is GLOWING AND THE CLOSET IS GLASS.

why didn't they just kiss 😭

  2. Not much. He's from scadrial. He's not keliser. Beyond that.... uh? Who knows? People think he's using cadmium. I see no Reason he's not. People just have hyperfixated on Valor since she's missing in a way odium doesn't understand, and roshar is a pretty battle torn place. Valor could be the irali, or reason could!
  3. It seems to me like anyone who's particularly invested can accept oaths. The Sibling, Retribution, the nightwatcher, most of the unmade (BAM and Sanj?). I also think a spren can just accept oaths anyway, like no matter what the head guy says, if the words are right, the spren accepts it. Heck dalianr accepted an oath once (Yes I know through the storm father.)
  4. Dalinar is dead. The whole stretching to the beyond thing is the next best thing to Brandon saying it himself. The who claimed him thing is the only ambiguity. I think it's just the beyond, buy it very well could be Valor, or Nahado, or whoever. It's wishful thinking to hope Dalinar comes back, but, the blackthorn is around, and is kinda like diet dalinar!
  5. That's cause you're thinking about it in the human sense of honor. From what we've seen, none of the shard are "good," in isolation (Maybe devotion?) Preservation would grind the world to a halt, ruin would break it. A shard that believes in "doing the right thing" and "Honesty" is way to good to be true.
  6. Unknown. I think it's 9 and 10. If I had to pick. It would be 9.
  7. Doylist reason Watsonion reason.
  8. If I remember correctly, it takes place during the True desolation. Or at the very least one adventure talks about how taln's blade was stolen.
  9. I'm curious, what's your theories?
  10. It seems to me that, being involved with a fight that leaves disturbing effects on the spirtual and being "troubling" to harmony, lends itself well to the theory that mercy is not a "good" shard. The logical jump is mercy helped odium somehow, Mercy rarely comes from the loosing side. Maybe it was a mercy killing?
  11. Yeah that's what I was referring to. She helped kill Ambition.
  12. Who knows? Not I.
  13. We already know mercy helped kill someone, so why not again?
  14. Syl would have no idea. Kaladin as a person is the same. But yeah we have no idea, Brandon wants to keep it ambiguous. It should be the same person, if your spirit web was just made more fancy, or if your "soul" (whatever goes to the beyond) was put into a new framework. Or the soul passes on and he's just a copy who thinks he's kaladin, but is just a replica of a dead man. Ask star trek.
  15. That doesn't make sense. The orders where made by ishar, not honor. He's still around. They have less limits, sure but that's like microkineses, not oaths.
  16. Good point, think those sailors will return? Also how on earth did you remember he existed?
  17. Ah so that would make sense. Maybe that secret underwater society that certainly exists rejected odium as well!
  18. Do you mean quotes like this one? There should be a button that says "quote," next to the plus sign. Press on that and it will quote their whole message. You can also highlight a section of the text, and a popup says "Quote Selection?" It makes something like this. The plus sign "Multi-quotes" which does the same thing as if you'd pressed the quote button several times on a message.
  19. So, I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but what on earth is up with the Reshi Islands? Odium didn't conquer them, so they should have pockets of sunlight that move with the islands? What does this mean for the Rel-na? Are they stunted without any light? What happens if they go onto land where odium rules? Is it tied to their normal claims instead? It's so strange!
  20. There's no wobs on it, but I feel like it would make sense. Very much agree with this. Hoid reads as someone who lost something very close to him a long time ago, and hasn't really recovered from it.
  21. It's probably a polestone, and they infused it somehow (Alerter fabiral? Stealing it from someone like Rock?) and then shoved it into the bindpoints in his eyes. It feels more like Lifesense than Steelsight, but who knows?
  22. It's not voidlight. It's presumably Warlight, or whatever Retribution wants to call it. Fused can get it through the song of prayer, everyone else can pray at midnight, and get infused spheres. I presume animals get it whenever, because they need it to live and it makes no sense for Retribution to kill roshar.
  23. I agree in that it's weird he rafoed it. And, I mean there's crab people on a world mostly covered by water. It's not a stretch to imagine there's a Form or intelligent greatshell that can breath underwater.
  24. It could also be that invention picked up what Adonalsium started
  25. I think it's kinda like a black hole. Anything that hits the "event horizon" (Cut by the blade) is consumed, and absorbed into the blade. While it's in there, the investiture is made superdense, and starts acting weird. It leaks out , much like hawking radiation does a black hole. I bet you could pass between realms with nightblood, much like a perpendicularity.
