  1. Maybe not psychotic, but she’s really angry . Like, “it is my personal mission to brutally murder three people” angry. The person below me always makes the classic blunder of pulling their phone out when it’s raining outside.
  2. By sequels I mean Empire and Return of the Jedi. They are technically sequels.
  3. Update on my previous SU, from research on dissociation I’ve come to a few semi-conclusions.

The types of the condition that seem to fit me best:

    Derealization

    • See objects changing in shape, size or colour
    • Feel detached or separate from the world around you
    • See the world as 'lifeless' or 'foggy'
    • Feel like you're seeing the world through a pane of glass
    • Feel like you're living in a dream
    • Feel as if other people are robots (even though you know they aren't)

This fits me in the way that I sometimes feel detached or separate from the world in the way that I feel alone. When you think of the standard “oh I feel so alone” you probably think like “nobody understands me or my struggles”. For me, it’s more like I just feel almost literally alone. Like what I’m experiencing is just separate from everything else. I interact with others and “pass into their reality” but most of the time I’m the “sole survivor”, so to say. I think this could be do to the fact that I seldom tell people (even people I’m close to) about my problems and that may have sort of closed me off a bit to the rest of the world. Mentally, at least. I don’t really experience the other bits of derealization though.

    Dissociative Amnesia

    • Have gaps in your memory where you can't remember certain events
    • Not be able to remember information about yourself or your life history
    • Forget how to do something you’ve been able to do well in the past
    • Find that you have items that you don't remember ever owning

For me it’s just massive gaps in my memory. I’ve always chalked it up to me just having bad memory, but when I really think about it, it feels kind of weird. Like when I’m just looking back on life, I have difficulty remembering anything that isn’t one of my few very distinct memories. When people bring something up, I can sometimes recall my participation in it or whatever but I seem to not remember a lot of stuff that friends and family remember fondly. Right now, in all 23 years of my existence I can probably tell you about 15 of my most significant experiences. My life has been perfectly average but by no means boring, so that seems off to me. Anyways, thanks for reading if you did, if you have anything to say or add it would be appreciated.

TLDR: Dissociative amnesia and Derealization are two forms of Dissociation I believe I am experiencing and I will continue to research and learn about it!

  4. Do you ever feel like you're just... alone? I don't really mean like emotionally, but like you just feel literally alone. You could look out the window of your house and see cars driving along the road, people out taking walks and playing at the park, and you just feel alone. Like you might as well be looking out at an empty nuclear wasteland. When you're sitting with a friend or two, you feel like the sole survivors on Earth. When you're with your family, you feel like it's just you guys on an empty planet. You could be walking through a crowded mall or waiting in line at a busy store and it just feels like you're the only one there. Do any of you know what I'm talking about? It's kind of surreal, right?

      That sounds like dissociation ngl

      *looks up dissociation*

      Ah

A lot of the times they're isolated incidents, like when I'm with my partner for example things feel more real, but some of the descriptions seem kind of accurate sometimes.

One I read was "people and things around you see or feel 'unreal'".

While I feel like that fits fairly well, it's more that I recognize there are other people with lives and such, I just... don't really think about it. I don't have a ton of friends I see often and I'm the type to be ignored in public and at work, so maybe that contributes a bit? I'll read up on it more, thanks Doomie

I've not discovered that it's coincides with stress or trauma, which I don't have a lot of... I feel like a pretty stable, if asocial, person.

SEQUENCE, SZETH, (oops, caps lock) I do the exact same thing.

  5. I love them! You can build ski resorts on them :> Happy birthday! I got you a bird!
  6. *stops you* *sends you to therapy* *attempts to get your to cease your destructive behaviors* *is impressed with your growth as a person* *throws you a party after you finish four months of therapy* I wish my teachers were like that when I was in school XD.
  7. If they're done well, like Star Wars, yes! It all depends on how good they are and how the first one ended. I have nothing against sequels in general. The person below me strongly dislikes crickets.
  8. Almost never! I'm naturally a sucky artist in almost all forms of art, and I don't enjoy it enough to get better. Do you play an instrument?
  9. My perfectly pristine and living body shoots both of you with tasers and skips along the path with the Sandwich in my clutches.
  10. Meanwhile, Everyone was casting a spooky mist all around Moni's house. For funsies.
  11. Which is where the least developed of all these beings, the Addition Amoebas, came in.
  12. Yes indeed! Except, I'll probably be feeling exhausted in about 30 minutes. The person below me is the #1 Coolest Individual of all time .
  13. Haha! I have stolen the sword of power form your secret hiding place! I will now become the most powerful individual of all time! ... I love refrigerators!
  14. I am also an American calling fries chips is sinful and I was asking if you call American chips (doritos, lays, that stuff) chips or crisps. This probably sounds painfully basic, but cats and dogs. I have a cat and dog and they are LITERALLY my best friends. Have you snorted any allergens today?
  15. Strange as in odd? I don't do much odd writing, sadly, but I have written stuff that is so terribly boring and unintelligible and lacking in sense that it could be considered strange. Are you French?
  16. But wait! What if instead of a witch, Noodles is in fact, a sorceress?
  17. From what I know of the book, the movie is basically two chapters from the book crammed with a lot of action. It was short and not much happened but it was entertaining and definitely not boring.
  18. Which would probably be the main issue for an insanely rich person willing to fly a bunch of people out to India. Those people would be children XD.
  19. I'm trying to remember whether or not I'm an insanely rich person happy to fly a bunch of people out to India for an event that sounds really awesome.
