  1. "Oh- apologies! I assumed you were someone else! Nice to meet you though! I'm Sequence. And you?"
  2. Happy birthday!! Best wishes to you :D

  3. "It makes narrating feel more interesting." Sequence beamed and sat back down in her chair.
  4. Sequence glances over the blueprints and nods, smiling. "Lovely design!" She waves her hand in the air and a nearby hill smoothens out on the top and the house specified in the blueprints slowly begins to materialize. Sequence moved her fingers around in the air in a manner that looked something like typing on a keyboard for about a minute. "Complete!" She exclaimed happily. "What do you think?"
  5. I tried a new activity which I highly recommend!!

Airsoft! Very fun. The odd looks I got as an adult woman in an airsoft arena of mostly teenage boys was hilarious to be honest :D.

But I legitimately enjoyed it, I got shot a few times and sometimes it hurt sometimes but it wasn't so bad. It wasn't my idea to go originally, my nephew actually invited me when his friend ended up being busy so I decided to go with him because I love that little guy, and it ended up being pretty enjoyable! I kinda sucked. Everyone there was pretty serious and I got maybe 10 confirmed kills in about 4 hours of playing and a lot more deaths lol, but the experience has got me interested in the sport(?) as a whole and I think I might want to start getting my own gear (I used rentals that time).

      ...

I should send him my research paper and see if he thinks it's good...

      The cheeseman

I LOVE airsoft. I haven't been able to play a lot recently, but it's my second-favorite outdoor activity, behind only going on walks with my girlfriend

  6. Sequence pondered this request for a moment, then nodded. "What kind of house would you like, friend?"
  7. Sequence congratulated Lunamor's ancient-ness and invited them to take a seat on the porch of their new cabin.
  8. Sequence settled down and built a house in the void, a comfy log cabin for travelers to stop at in their journeys if they so pleased. Also, in slight celebration because 1147 pages is a lot. (She first narrated 1147 pages ago on page 1513) (And yes, she is definitely bragging about it)
  9. I didn't know you well, but all I hear are good things!! Have a wonderful birthday :D.

  10. Gwaaa thank's for the birthday wishes everyone!! Very kind, I appreciate y'all and wish you the best

  11. "Great!.. Uh..." The defendant looked around helplessly.
  12. The defendant's jaw dropped. "... Okay, I plead guilty to that. Can I get a lawyer?"
  13. The defendant is escorted into the court room, throwing nasty glares at everyone she looks at in her bloodied shirt and ratty hair.
  14. There's a knock at the door. "Errmmm, excuse me? I've just received a noise complaint from this building!"
  15. Not all of them! In fact, most of them are no taller than 2 gramars (I love obscure TLT references ) Healthy lawn grass is usually green.
  16. Probably upwards, seems more useful! ... Although.. I could fulfill that life-long dream of grabbing the remote from foar away with sideways lashings, couldn't I? Would you rather come into possession of a coppermind filled with all of Hoid's memories and knowledge or be an exceptionally skilled soother?
  17. Sadly my writer's spirit completely died again. Oh well, I'll make updates if it ever comes back.
  18. Unfortunately, our dear Dr. Calano has departed from this and all threads for now . To offer some advice hopefully near his caliber: A tip I've picked up in my many years of existence, is to worry less about "making a good impression" and "making" them like you, and just try to do a good job of showing that you're genuinely interested in them and their life, along with their interests and hobbies and other such things. It's good to balance asking them about their interests and sharing yours with them! Who knows, maybe you have something in common .
  19. What media or mythology has your favorite interpretation of dragons? I know that basically anything that has dragons portrays them in a slightly different manner, so I was curious about which one you like best!!
  20. Over two years ago, this was! I feel so old... also why is there 39 votes for yes now? Who's been voting on this dead thread? @danex it would be totally fair and good if you went back to the bow (or maybe even the cat!!) for at least a little bit to honor the dedication of all 39 Storming Sharders who voted yes.
  21. An update on my previous status update!! (The one about the weather broadcasts)

So recently I came back and decided to decode a few more for fun, and I discovered something!! I discovered that I was completely wrong about what METAR and TAF is, and the systems that other countries use.

METAR is a completely universal system, everywhere from the US to Germany to Russia to China to Indonesia uses it. The discrepancies and the issues me and my nephew were running into were due to the fact that each country uses a seemingly random combination of measurement systems. Places like Russia use meters for distance (altitude and visibility), meters per second for speed, celsius for temperature, and hectoPascals for pressure. Meanwhile, the US uses statute miles for visibility distance, feet/thousandths of a mile for altitude, knots for speed, fahrenheit for temperature, and pounds-per-square-inch for pressure. Other countries also may have slightly different layouts but it's all the same system with the same precipitation and sky condition abbreviations.

Another mistake I made is regarding the TAF system. METAR is a completely universal system for conveying current weather information, and TAF is a completely universal system for conveying forecasted weather information.

Sooooo... now that I have all that figured out, I shared it with my nephew and him and I are practically pros at this now B).

  22. What? But locks are there to help open the door, silly! Since they're so easy to just rip right off, you're supposed to take them off and then bash the door open with them if the handle is stuck! Airplanes fly
  23. Well of course they can!! What else would those big feet be for? They inflate with a gas produced by the penguins body that is lighter than air and lifts them up into the sky! Water is one of the essential building blocks of life.
  24. Papercuts are in fact, quite gratifying. This is a fact, not a subjective opinion, as stated by the World Health Organization (WHO). Lead is kinda heavy.
