  1. "That's... actually not a bad idea!" Sequence thought for a moment. "Common name... like.. Sam? And then... vowels.. like.. A, and U? Samua, then.. underused characters like.. Q? Samqua. Huh."
  2. "Always an option, but I feel like it needs to be special, you know?"
  3. Sequence grinned, waving her hand with a flourish as a stone fountain appeared in the city center. "Now for a name! ... Hm.. I've always sucked at names... You got anything?"
  4. "Looks lovely! Let's get a bit closer.." The platform appeared a half-mile or so above the city, and Sequence continued to wave her hands in a musical conductor-like manner, trees and benches and buildings appearing in an ever expanding direction down the mountain.
  5. "Oh no worries, every Narrator has their own way of doing things." Sequence watched the city grow with interest, gently adding subtle details such as roads and fences.
  6. "Multiple cities! I like the way you think." Sequence waved another hand and the barren planet was filled with endless expanses of snowcapped mountains, occasionally parted by small lakes and patches of dark green trees. "And now, the cities themselves. Here, you give it a try."
  7. "Hey I remember the ally! Oh- okay, there he goes- I guess we could invite her if she shows up."
  8. "Good idea." Sequence waved her hand and a barren gray planet appeared, rotating slowly below the platform. "How do you feel about mountains? I always thought a city waaaay up in the mountains would be interesting."
  9. "Lovely!" Sequence clapped her hands together and she and the Once-Author stood on a small platform in space, overlooking a massive and expansive universe. "Where should we start? There are plenty of planets here, all types of varieties, or.. we could make our own as well, that's an option."
  10. "Also fair, also fair.. Say, why don't we build a city together? You and me? Way back in the day, Doomie and Thaidakar built Kalithor and it was a beacon of peace and achievement! ...I think, I only ever visited once.." Sequence shuddered. "Could be fun!"
  11. "Well that's fair I suppose..." Sequence shrugged. "I try to make the best of it. I suppose that's why I'm not fighting! So much death, better off to avoid it, right?"
  12. "Well that isn't all too bad, right? Narrators are plenty powerful as well! I also like to think we're much more fun." Sequence winked, a lightbulb appearing in her hand. "We're the ones who make things happen on this thread! Sure, I've likely endured much more suffering than my Author, but I've also likely had much more fun!" The lightbulb in Sequence's hand glowed a faint purple color, and she let go of it, watching it with a smile as it floated off into the distance. "Trust me, we've got plenty of power as well."
  13. Sequence tilted her head. "So.. does that mean you're a Narrator now? Once-Author turned Narrator?"
  14. Sequence paused again, staring off into the distance blankly. "I've had my fair share of fighting for one lifetime... Tell me, 'Once-Author', why are you named that? Are you a Narrator? An author personified? ... One who used to be an author personified?"
  15. "Ooh thank you." Sequence accepted the offer thankfully, then paused. "I don't believe I've met you before." She offered her hand forward in greeting. "I'm Sequence! And you?"
  16. "Why is everyone fighting again?" Sequence rolled her eyes, sitting back in a lawn chair and folding her arms across her chest.
  17. @Ookla the Ephemeral!! Last visited on Tuesday, so I don't know if I'd consider them gone . @Cruciatus_heart! Our good friend, also once known as Elf. She always had interesting stories to tell and deep advice to offer! Things seem to be going well and bright for her, which I'm glad about.
  18. I missed last Ookla season due to poor planning of display name changes, I'm making this one last!!
  19. Recently, I've noticed a few of my friends and other prestigious Sharders departing, which of course makes me sad that they're gone, but also happy that they're moving on to hopefully bright futures. I haven't been particularly active recently, so I'm not exactly sure about all those who have left now. Basically the point here and the point of this thread, is I've noticed many Sharders leaving, and I've also noticed that many wonderful Sharders have already left, and I haven't even heard of them! So I decided to make this, a way to keep the memory of our departed friends alive. If someone ever comes to mind, bring them up and say something we remember about them fondly . It would be a shame for such wonderful people to be completely forgotten. @Ookla the Last Post @Ookla the Black Sock You two seem quite active and knowledgeable in this community, would you help me start? @Ookla The Storyteller, our friend Calano Corvus, also known as Doomslug the Destroyer . Wise beyond his years, sharing lovely relationship advice in his thread, making beautiful music, and writing beautiful stories. He will be remembered for his kindness, his wisdom, his creativity, and many others.
  20. Oh dear, now The Game is being brought up here? That's.. really unfortunate .
  21. "You got games on yo phone? " Adorable doggie . 10/10!!
  22. Sequence pats the snail on the shell, commending its effort before hitting Elan on the head with a cricket bat. While he's unconscious, Sequence grabs the Sandwich and runs away. She feels bad though, so she comes back and leaves the Second Most Perfect Sandwich™ for him, to say sorry.
